"No, I don't fucking want to calm down, Mason! I want you to stop being an ass!" Cybill hollered. As if Mason was even capable of being a jerk, especially to her. Maybe she knew that, but that didn't mean she wanted to forgive him. It was a slippery slope, living with the antics of Cybill Grey, but he knew that when he signed up for it. Maybe he should have thought a little bit harder about it if he wanted something easy. Cybill wasn't even sure if she knew what she were originally mad about but that didn't mean she was going to forgive him. She hated when he won, although he typically did. What she hated even more, though, was if she gave in too quickly. He had a way of swaying her to get over things and he knew how to work her little system pretty well by now. Although, he seemed mad too now, so she figured he would just yell back.

Mason slammed the glass he was currently holding down on the granite counter top, unfazed by the loud clang it made upon impact. Her snide comments that normally left him unfazed, were chipping away at his patience. As much as he hated fighting with Cybill Grey, they sure as hell seemed to do it a lot. He openly fixed his glare on her where she stood, at the kitchen sink. They couldn't even make it through the dinner dishes without getting into a fight. "Okay, have it your way. You want to see me being an asshole, Cybill?" He threw out, "I'll fucking show you being an asshole. Let's yell and scream at each other. Bitch at me all you want. It's all you ever do these days."

"God damnit! If you break my glass, I swear--" she started fixing him with a warning glare. She wasn't going to be very happy, not that she was now. Her eyes shined with even more fire as he started yelling back. He had decided to fuel the argument instead of calm it. Fine with her. "Maybe if you could do something besides ride your damn bikes all day I wouldn't have to bitch at you. I sit in this house all damn day cleaning up your shit and you just do flips and jump! When the hell are you actually going to help me? Then, you turned half of our white towels pink the other day!" she had fixed that with bleach but it wouldn't have been a problem if he hadn't thrown his dark red shirt in the wash when he came in from training.

His hand clenched into a fist. Never in a million years would he hit her, but she made him want to hit someone. Maybe the wall. The wall might suffice. "What are you going to do, huh?" He picked up the stupid glass and looked down at it with a smirk, twirling it around in his hands a little. He could throw it. See what trouble that got him into. He thought better of it though, at sat the glass back down on the counter, this time more gentle than he had before. "What the hell am I supposed to do, then? If I cant do my job, what I'm paid to do, then what good am I?" He shook his head and rolled his eyes. "Again with the towels, it's not like I did it on purpose." He hated when she accused him of not helping out. He did as much as he had time for, but she never acknowledged that, did she. With an exasperated sigh, he walked over to the fridge. He needed to calm down. That wasn't likely to happen though. "I was trying to help, but apparently I can even do that right." He muttered.

She watched him with a warning look, that was her favorite set of glasses. They were discontinued and if he broke one you could bet she'd make sure that he never heard the end of it. She let out a frustrated groan, "I understand it's your job, but maybe if you spent just a little more time cleaning your lunch up, I wouldn't be so upset. It's like every fucking day I come downstairs after taking a shower and your lunch mess is still all over the kitchen table!" His comment irked her even more than it should have. "Well if you'd pay attention maybe you'd be a little better at it. Maybe think about it! 'Oh, there are white towels in here, this shirt is red, I'd better put it in the colors hamper.' That would be a good way to help instead of doing everything a if your mind isn't even there!" She walked back to the sink and started to wash the rest of the dishes by herself. "Acting like you don't have any common sense...."

Mason leaned down into the fridge, scanning it quickly to see if there was anything there that would calm him down. With both of them angry, it could only cause more damage. He fought the urge to just let her throw the punches. He was used to letting her walk all over him. But today... today he just wasn't having it. "That was one fucking time! And Andy called me out last minute." He slammed the door to the fridge shut. Nothing. Nothing in there to take the edge off. "They are just towels. They can be replaced. It's not like it really matters." He said, evidence of the ridiculousness he accusation held in his voice. He glared at the back of her head, and shook his own. "No common sense? Are we seriously going there right now? Have you, for once, run out of things to complain about that you've resorting to insulting my intelligence?" He walked over to the window, and peered out. "Nope no pigs are flying. Hell must have frozen over."

Cybill couldn't even focus on the menial task of washing the dishes. She was in a. Rage that would set the house on fire had it been an actual flame. She shook her head, "I'm not fucking insulting your intelligence, I'm saying that you act like you aren't intelligent sometimes! Seriously? Reds and whites don't mix! Our bathroom is blue, Mason, not pink. It's like you don't even get what's going on because you're off in your own little world!" She was done with this mess for now. It wasn't happening. She let out a groan, "Shut the hell up, just stop! You want to be a smart ass, do it somewhere else. It isn't funny," she hated, hated when he did that kind of thing. "You want me to find more to complain about? How about the way you leave your clothes right next to the hamper but not in it. Or maybe how you left a whole carton of milk on the counter?"

Mason turned to her, his eyes drifting to where is keys hung on a hook next to the sink. He could grab them and leave. Just get out and let them both cool down. He doubted she would let him go that easily though. She was too damned stubborn. She wanted to him to stop, so he would do exactly the opposite. Mason wasn't going to shut up this time. Cybill couldn't always get what she wanted. "You think I'm trying to be funny? Not the case. I'm trying not to punch a hole in the wall, that's what I'm trying to do." He scoffed, fighting the urge to roll his eyes again. She was behaving absurdly. So what if it was rubbing off on him? "Okay, since were pointing out flaws here. Let's start with you, shall we?" Mason walked a bit closer to her. "What about how you're always leaving your make-up all over the bathroom counter? Or all of your hair that gets stuck in the drain? I don't complain about how you never pick up your socks off the floor."

Cybill wanted to pull her hair out. He really didn't get it, and that made her even angrier. "No, I'm saying you're pissing me off!" He started pointing out her flaws and her jaw dropped open, how could he say that? "It's the bathroom counter it's there for me to put my make up on!" She tried very hard to pull her hair from the drain after she got out of the shower, but their drain liked to eat it before she could do that. "I pick up my socks, Mason, that one doesn't even make sense, I pick them up and I wash them. All of them! And all of yours!" She stepped closer as well and jabbed him hard in the chest with her finger. "You never make the bed, you leave the toilet seat up, and if you're yelling at me leaving my makeup on the counter, what about your shaving cream, huh?"

Mason laughed, though it held no humor. "I'm pissing you off? You've got to be kidding me." He bit his cheek, looking away for a moment. He shook his head, releasing his cheek before looking at her again. "I'm a guy, what the hell do you expect? We don't always remember these things, especially in the morning." He smirked a little when she mouth dropped open, feeling a little accomplished that he was getting a rise out of her. He reached a hand up to rest against the cabinet above her head. "You never put the remotes back on the table so the couch eats them, you never take your games out of the xbox, and you're always leaving the tv on the freaking infomercial channel that I hate." He shot back, his other hand grabbing the wrist of the hand that currently had a finger gabbing into his chest.

"Well I'm sorry, alright? I'm sorry that I'm a girl and you're a boy and we do everything completely and totally opposite!" she yelled, unable to find anything else that bugged her that he did on a fairly regular basis. She wanted to she wanted to find something else really bad, but she couldn't. "Ugh! Why the hell can't you remember to put the damn toilet seat down? Do you know how many times I've actually fallen in?" He grabbed her wrist and she tried to pull away, but he was most definitely stronger than her. "Let me go, Mason!" she nearly screamed, unable to control the volume of her voice with how angry she was. "Just let me fucking leave, isn't that what you want anyway?"

Mason couldn't hold in the chuckle that bubbled up his throat with her admission. He didn't know that she had actually fallen into the toilet... on multiple occasions. Usually he was pretty good when it came to the toilet seat, but in the middle of the night or in the morning? It always seemed to slip his mind that he had a female living in the house. The fire in his eyes lessened a little. That's what it always came down to with them. Every argument, every disagreement, and every indiscretion on his part. He wanted to shake her. "Every time we fight it always comes down to that." He said, his voice quieter, "When are you going to get it through that think fucking skull of yours that I don't want you going anywhere? Do you need to be reminded every damned day?"

Cybill moved her eyes so they weren't looking at him anymore as he asked her that. She didn't need her to remind him of anything, or she didn't think she did. It was just her only explanation for why he kept doing things that she didn't want him to do. She figured since he'd kept her around this long, he probably wanted her around, but in her insecure mind, he didn't want her there. He wanted her gone and that was the only thing that made sense. She wanted herself gone, honestly, she caused more problems than she fixed, but she couldn't stop herself from doing it. "No. I need you to let go of me." She still wasn't looking at him, she just wanted to go upstairs and cry because she felt like a little girl. She hated that he could do that to her; Prove that she was being stupid.

Mason blew out a sigh, his conscience was already biting at him. When it came to her, it was hard for him to remain angry for an extended period of time. It was even less likely for him to blow up at her as largely as he had just now. He gave her the look, the one he often gave her when he was sorry for his actions. No matter how ridiculous she was being, it didn't matter in the long run. The things they had been accusing each other over weren't even important in the grand scheme of things. "Hey," Mason said, releasing her hand and maneuvering so he was in her line of sight. "I'm sorry I'm such an ass." He let out a small chuckle, smiling teasingly. "And I guess I can forgive your infomercial addiction." He was making an attempt to lighten the mood, hopefully she would bite.

Cybill redirected her eyes as he moved, not wanting to look at him. She was too hot under the collar right now to listen to anything he had to say. She didn't want to talk about her 'infomercial addiction'. She only watched them so that she could make fun of the people who were so excited about the new products and he knew that. She'd never bought anything, aside from those fancy caramel apples that he had thoroughly enjoyed once they got to the house. "Whatever," she said, still not over it. She felt like she was two feet tall and he was watching her under a microscope. "I'm just going to go to my mom's house for a little bit. I can't deal with any of this mess right now and I just want to get the hell away from you!" She turned to exit the kitchen but then turned around again to give him one more, good insult, "I might not come back this time, maybe I'll just stay gone. It's not like you appreciate me anyway!"
