Wonder what lies at the beach today....

[Ivy]

"Ah, my birthday is in February. Only about 6 months difference" he shrugged and threw the last of his fries into his mouth. He understood the whole height thing, his family members were all pretty tall, he wasn't sure how tall Anne was since she was sitting down but she didn't appear to be much over five feet or so and he was just over six feet.

[Tori]

Anne shrugged her shoulders. "Eh, oh well. Not like its a whole year younger or something. No big deal." she gulped down her last bit of water and pushed it aside along with her tray of trash in front of her. "So...I'm guessing you were one of the surfer dude's out in the water I saw earlier, huh? Bad surf today, or something? It looked pretty flat from where I was standing..."

[Ivy]

Kyel scoffed thinking about the waves, or rather the lack of. "Yeah, I was hoping for something a little bigger. When it pretty much completely leveled out I called it quits." He had been thinking his brothers had been smart to sleep in but talking to Anne was changing his mind about that. He took a drink of his soda looking over at their trash filled trays. He dumped the trash from hers on to his, stacking the trays and pulling them to his side of the table. He was used to it from doing it for his sister so he figured he might as well do it for Anne.

[Tori]

"It was still pretty entertaining watching you guys just sit there in the freezing-ass water." she smirked again, chuckling to herself. She noticed then that he started clearing off the table, including her own stuff, at least to the side. She raised her eyebrows slightly, surprised to see him do that. Normally, when she first meets a guy, she would have to clean up her own mess.

[Ivy]

When she chuckled Kyel couldn't help but smile a bit. When he saw the slightly surprised look on her face he shrugged, "It's kind of a habit for me." Realizing that he hadn't really explained he added "I always take care of the trash for my little sister. Well, she's sixteen, not exactly little anymore but she's the baby of the family." He decided he had said enough and sipped at his soda some more figuring that Anne probably didn't care to hear about his baby sister.

[Tori]

"I see." she laughed, leaning her chair back a bit more. "Nah, its cool. I had two older brothers myself who always took care of me like that...a bit annoying after a while, but what could I do? They liked to protect me.." she shrugged, suddenly having a flashback of her past making her all broken inside. She quickly shook away that feeling and changed the subject then. "So, is that your only sibling? Or are there more of you?"

[Ivy]

He smiled, he liked hearing her laugh. He was definitely the most protective of his sister and he understood what she was saying about her brothers. When she ask about his siblings he chuckled a little "Actually, I'm a triplet. I'm the oldest though and then there's Mike and Joey. Kaelynn is my only sister but her best friend Jaida lives with us too." He looked at her waiting for her response to him being a triplet, it was usually pretty interesting to see people's reaction when they found out.

[Tori]

Anne's eyes widened then when she heard he was a triplet. She sat back up in her chair, seeming more interested in the conversation than before. "Whoa...are you for real?" She leaned her elbows on the counter and rested her chin in her hands. "So, what's it like exactly? I mean, don't you guys fight a lot over stupid stuff...or, oh! Do you guys ever switch places? That would be pretty fucking awesome to see if you have." she laughed, eager to learn more about him.

[Ivy]

Her reaction was bigger than they usually were and Kyel looked down at the table trying not to laugh. When he was sure he wouldn't laugh he looked back up at her with a smile. His own eyes widened when she started asking all the questions and he chuckled softly. Getting serious he said "Well, it's like being bipolar but you don't have to see a shrink or anything because of your personalities are living" he grinned and laughed. He shook his head and shrugged "It's like any other siblings, but you all grow up completely together and look alike. We don't really fight much at all, we have switched places before nobody noticed though. We're identical, all the same height and everything, the other two are a little bigger than me though." He pulled the lid off his cup and downed the last of his soda.

[Tori]

Anne moved on of her hands so it was flat on the table, but so her other hand was still holding her chin up comfortably. "Sounds.....interesting." she responded, trying to keep up with what he was saying. "So you're the smaller of the three of you. Does that mean you're the youngest, too, or something?" she asked again, still curious about him being a triplet.

[Ivy]

Kyel sighed, "No, I get asked that a lot though. I'm oldest and the smallest, Joey is the youngest and the biggest." He shrugged "I don't really think it's a triplet thing though, it just kind of happened that way." He placed his empty cup on the tray next to him and sat back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest.

[Tori]

"Seriously? Weird..." Anne sighed herself, fidgeting her feet around on her skateboard beneath the table. There was a bit of an awkward silence after that, so about a minute later of awkward staring, Anne leaned her body back upright again, giving a small stretch and said, "Well, I guess I should go now... The main reason I was out of the house was to skate around a bit to get my mind off things, and this isn't really helping any... No offense." she explained to Kyel, standing up to reveal her true height. She tossed her trash away and grabbed her skateboard, but before heading off, she turned to Kyel once more. "You can hang with if you'd like. It's not like you're bugging me in any way. I mean, I could probably use the company anyway."

[Ivy]

Kyel watched her get up and figured it was probably time for him to get going too. When she turned back and offered him the chance to come along he thought "Come on, do you want to go on a run by yourself or hang out with Anne?". The latter won out and he smiled "Sure, I don't really have anything else to do." While he had been sitting down she still hadn't seemed all that short but when he stood up he realized that he towered over her by about a foot, it caught him a little off guard. He ran a hand through his hair and glanced at the wall, seeing his board still propped up against it he looked back at her. "Um, could you wait just a minute? I've got to put my stuff away" He grabbed his board and held the door open for her before going over to a silver Colbalt about five spots from the restaurant. He pulled out his keys and unlocked it, throwing his stuff in and pulling on his tennis shoes. He made sure he had his phone and the keys before shutting the door and locking it again. "Sorry about that, I'm ready."

[Tori]

Anne gave him a small grin and led herself out when he opened the door for her and went ahead and followed him to his car. She skated back and forth doing a few ollie tricks while he was putting his stuff away. When he came back up to her, she gave him a glimpse of a smile and kicked her skateboard back up in her arms again and started walking. "So...I was originally gonna head down to the skatepark. But unless you have something else in mind....."

Kyel slid his hands into his pockets, watching her kick her skateboard up. He fell into step beside her listening. He shrugged, "I don't care, I was just going to run at the park so whatever is fine with me." He gave her a small smile. He had never really been a skateboarder but he had tried riding a few times he just always liked the waves more than the pavement; he did enjoy watching other people though, the tricks they did always interested him.
