"Cute?" Aeron breathed as he made a face, not liking the thought of them getting "cutesy" earrings, but also getting the feeling he wouldn't be able to fight Loreto on it too well. He looked around the store, ignoring the glances from girls they were getting. All this means is we're good looking. Aeron thought cockily with a smirk. "Oh shit, I forgot..." Aeron began as he read over a brochure describing the piercing process. "You can't get one anyway, you gotta have written and notarized permission from a parent until you're 18." He told Loreto. He then brought Loreto over to a stand displaying a bunch of earring for people with piercings already. "Find one you like and we can share it. If you really want we can still have couple earrings." He said, pretending to be hating the idea. In reality, he was kind of hoping Loreto would find a pair.
((Remembering California State Law... We can look it up. lol))

Loreto couldn't help but laugh a little at Aeron's reaction to the word 'cute' Loreto used for a pair of earrings. He continued looking at one of the racks until he heard Aeron curse suddenly. "Awe man... I was actually really thinking of getting another piercing too..." he whined, looking over at the brochere Aeron was reading as well. "Well, that's not fair..." he said again, giving a small pout. Though his smile returned again when Aeron mentioned matching earrings. "Ohh~ That is a great idea. I think I saw some cute ones over here." he squealed, pulling Aeron along to the next case, not even noticing he used the word Cute again to Aeron.

"Why cute?" Aeron muttered to himself, making the same face as earlier. "Why do they have to be cute earrings?" He grumbled, though he was still letting himself get led to the other case.

Loreto chuckled all the way to the other case of earrings. "Well, what kind of earrings would you rather have then?" he asked, glancing over to Aeron before returning his gaze back to the spinning case of earrings. "Oh, there's these." he pointed out, looking at a small pack of ball earrings.

"Cool one, Loreto. Not cute." Aeron told him before looking towards the earrings Loreto had found. "Those are good. I like them, they're cheap and there's enough of them there I can get a couple new piercings." Aeron told him with an approving nod. "You like 'em, right?" He checked with Loreto.

"Gotcha." Loreto recited, making a mental note of his new vocabulary to use when around Aeron now. He grinned a bit wider when he saw how much he liked the studs he pointed out. "There's enough for both of us...I mean, if you don't mind sharing that is." he suggested, biting back his lip at the last part. "I love them, though! That's why I pointed them out to you...duh." he chuckled, shaking his head playfully at him.

Aeron shoved Loreto playfully at the younger boy's smart-mouthing, and then grabbed the earrings off the stand. "They're nice. Of course we'd share." He retorted, then realized what he said. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks as he turned away, pretending to observe the piercing station.

Loreto only grinned in return at Aeron's playful hit. He chuckled a bit more then as his faint blush started to form on his cheeks a bit more. "You know...you're actually kinda cute when you blush like that." he told him, only partly teasing while the other part was being serious.

Aeron made a face that looked like he was going to protest, but Loreto's words only caused him to blush more. "Shut up." He demanded, turning away again and noticing the lady working was back at the counter. He cleared his throat, trying to get the blush off his face before going to the lady. "Um, hi. I wanted to buy these and then can I use them to get a piercing?" He asked her, holding up the earrings in questions. "Sure!" The woman said simply. "I'll just need to see your ID and I need you to fill out this form." She told him simply, placing the form on the counter. Aeron pulled out his wallet and gave the worker his Driver's License. He purposely worked hard to ignore Loreto as he was filling out the form, worried he'd start blushing again if he looked at the younger boy.

Loreto gave a simple smirk and remained silent throughout the conversation he had with the woman behind the counter. He leaned over his shoulder to see what he was doing, and couldn't help notice his wallet he pulled out. "That's a cool wallet." he grinned, turning towards him with his chin resting on Aeron's shoulder still. "So, where are you getting your ears pierced? In the lobes again, or cartilage?"

Aeron thought about it a moment before slightly pinching the middle-edge of his ear. "Here seems like a cool spot." He seemed to think aloud. It was only about a minute later before the lady called him over, having set it up. "Which ones do you want to go in?" She asked him. "The blue ones." Aeron replied without a second thought. He glanced over to Loreto after pointing out to the worker where he wanted the piercings. "I got the the wallet while I was in Wales. I was looking through a..." He paused and winced as he heard the woman mutter a "1, 2, 3" and then pierce that ear. "A souvenir shop and found it." He explained, letting out a breath. "Can I see it before you pierce the other one?" He asked the lady, and she nodded and handed him a mirror. "What do you think?" He asked Loreto while looking at it himself in the mirror.

Loreto leaned away slightly to see where Aeron was pinching at, and nodded agreeably. "That's a cool spot." He watched as the woman got ready for the piercing, and even flinched when Aeron did when the first hole was made. "Oh~ nice. I still have a wallet from Italy. It's at home in one of my drawers. I make sure to keep it nice...sort of like a souvenir...or remembrance of my home." he shrugged, smiling wide again when he saw the first piercing. "Ohhh~ I like that. I like that a lot actually. The blue fits you too. Especially you're eyes." he complimented with an even wider smile at the eyes part.

Aeron smirked, shoving Loreto playfully. "Everyone says that, can't you at least come up with something original?" He teased. He okay-ed the lady to do the other side, and then raised an eyebrow at Loreto's comment about his own "special" wallet. "Souvenir huh?" He asked the younger boy curiously. "My souvenirs tend to be ticket stubs." He winced again as the lady once again counted down and pierced his ear. "So like.. my airplane ticket, bus tickets, things like that." He finished explaining.

Loreto chuckled softly. "I can't help it, though. I'm no good at coming up with original lines. Especially those flirty lines..." he mumbled out the last part with a smaller smirk on his face. He didn't flinch for the next ear that was pierced however, only smiled as he really did like the way it turned out. "I can see you collecting that stuff, actually. Aside from coffee, you love to travel. It suits you. I mostly collect things that remind me of Italy. The good parts anyway. Anything that reminds me of a horrible memory I toss away and forget about it."

"Well of course." Aeron replied quickly, "Who wants to remember the bad stuff?" He declined to mention how he had literally burned his elementary school "diploma" after what had happened to him. Along with the note he didn't have to keep to remember what it had said. To Ms. Kita, We are very sorry for what happened. I wish you had informed us sooner a hate crime was happening in this school. Aeron Kita technically should not have passed, but due to the circumstances, we believe he will be alright for continuing on to middle school. Have a nice day. Aeron didn't really see how the second piercing looked as he remembered the letter that the school sent to his mother while had been in the hospital. It was like a slap in the face, and at the time he was happy to hear his mother had done just that after having a talk with the principal. ("First and only time I've ever been violent against an authority figure," She had told Aeron at the time.) "fucking assholes..." Aeron growled under his breath, not even realizing he had said it out loud.
