Kaleb sighed. Maybe JC ditched him, after all. Maybe they weren't really friends. He leaned on the corner of the movie theatre's window, waiting. He really was tired today, but somehow really wanted to go to the movies with JC. He hadn't really had a friend before, but he never really cared. But this time, he did care if he had lost this friend or not. Of course, Bell and Kenzie were there, his sisters, but family was family. They stuck close no matter what. At least Guinevere and Phillip got to make friends. Riley, too, and even Kayla. And him, kind of. But maybe not? Maybe JC had really ditched him, and it was all fake, but Kaleb was going to wait. Wait to see, actually.

After JC had gone over her plan 50 different times, she bit her lip and stood up, walking to the theatre. She took a deep breath when she saw him, standing at the corner. She clenched her jaw, setting her face in her usual serious tone and walked quickly over to him. Without saying anything, she grabbed his hand, practically dragging him to the ticket counter. "Two tickets for Something Borrowed." She said smoothly, paying for the tickets herself. When the ticket person handed them to her, she pressed one into Kaleb's hand that she was still holding. "Deal with it." She said briskly, letting go of him and turning to walk into the doors with a blush on her cheeks and heading towards the snack place.

Kaleb laughed lightly when JC dragged him towards the ticket counter, then held the ticket in his hand. He pushed open the door. "You want popcorn or something?" he asked curiously, walking up to the counter. He leaned against it, reading the snack options and then looking around at everything. "Anything you want?" he heard the lady at the counter ask. Kaleb turned back to JC, asking her again, and waited for a few minutes for her response. He was holding the ticket tightly in his hand, just making sure that it wouldn't end up lost, or something.

JC had kept her face turned from him to hide her blush, pretending to check out the menu. "Just popcorn and a coke." She moved her hair over her ear to hide her face from him. She wasn't really expecting this to actually go how she planned.

Kaleb nodded and quickly got a popcorn and Coke for JC and one for himself, then paid for it before JC would even have the chance to, if she was going to pay for it. "What theatre? Seven? Eight?" he asked curiously, handing JC her Coke. He held the popcorn in one and and his own Coke in the other. "You need butter on this popcorn?" Kaleb asked.

JC shook her head when he quickly paid for her things. "You're so strange." She muttered. "Theatre Eight. And yeah, butter would be nice." She took her coke, putting a piece of hair behind her ear.
