Parker laughed. "Nice to meet you Eric," he outstretched a hand, accepting the toothpicked snack. "I can always eat, that's for sure. Thanks," he shoved the whole thing in his mouth, barely pausing to chew. "Do you go to the school here?" he asked. Eric grinned, choking down another bite of just some of the tasty snacks lying on the table in front of them. "Nice to meet you too." he replied, still in the middle of swallowing before adding in, "Yeah I go to the school here. Just started actually. What about you? You a freshman too?" he asked curiously, grabbing a handful of chips munching on each one a bit slower than before. Harper saw a girl wandering aimlessly. She was able to spot her because, they too were doing the same thing. She decided it couldn't hurt to speak, they looked to be about the same age. She casually walked up to the girl and smiled.
"Hi. I'm Harper and this is my sister Blythe."
Blythe waved and smiled.
"We just moved here and so we don't really no anyone. You seemed to kinda not be talking to anyone, figured we'd come say hi." *laughs a little at how childish she sounded. Blythes's side eye to her confirming it* Elisabeth spun her head around thinking she heard someone actually talking to her. "Oh, hey. I'm Elisabeth," she introduced casually with a small wave towards the two girls in front of her. She giggled lightly at Harper's sudden explanation for their intrusion on her, "Oh, don' worry about it. I was kinda hoping someone would be brave enough to come up to me." she gave a light laugh, with her sweet grin attached to it, "I was never too good with starting off the conversation anyways, being shy and all." she bit her lip slightly. Sakda breathed a visible sigh of relief. "Jaela! Beverly!" He called, a relieved smile on his face. "I (am) so happy you (are) here. ผมโล่งใจมาก (I'm very relieved)." He looked at Beverly with big, puppy dog eyes, "plea' (please) help me." He begged her, knowing she knew some Thai. Beverly's smile grew widely running up to the familiar boy calling her name. Jaela too, perked her head up hearing her voice come from a voice she hasn't heard in quite a while, smiling even wider that the voice she heard was Sakda. "Sakda!" she waved flaring both her arms while still standing on the rock. She made a long leap, running in for a hug of her long-lost friend from MABtown, a grin never leaving her face. "How've you been? I missed you. We've all missed you! Oh! How's Sammy? I miss him a lot too." Jaela sputtered out all these questions and words, Beverly rolling her eyes at her little sister, finally able to nudge her off of Sakda giving him some air to breath. "What exactly do you need help with?" she asked, suddenly thinking of something once he spoke to her in Thai. "ท่านยังไม่ได้รับการฝึกภาษาอังกฤษของคุณมีคุณหรือไม่ (You haven't been practicing your English, have you?)" she asked him with a stern look only a mother would give.

I miss all my friends." she pouted, turning her head back to Beverly after hearing all the Thai come from Sakda's mouth, not knowing at all what he had just said. Beverly just shook her head. "So? You're still very young, Sakda. You won't be moving out for some time now." he explained to him, speaking English to him only to encourage him to speak more of it, even if it was just to her. "It won't be as hard to learn once you start practicing more often."

Yikes. So lost
Natalia, just looking for some new friends, and potential jam partners, wandered around from group to group, just listening and doing some people watching. She was usually the social butterfly, but really didn't seem to find anyone she felt she'd click with. She casually watched the guy with the flame-red hair. That has to be Cameron, she told herself, based on Chelsea's description of him when she got home the other night. But who's the chick?
Oliver shook Ian's outstretched hand. "Oliver. You look like you either don't want to be here, or get sucked into playing chaperone."
"I just started freshman year too," Parker said. "Just moved here, so I had to take some stupid test to figure out what grade I'm supposed to be in. My parents traveled a lot, so I was going to school, and getting tutored... They had no idea what grade level I was at."

He told her stubbornly as he crossed his arms and stomped a foot, his tantrums not seeming to have changed since he was a kid. "You... you know Thai, why not just speak (Thai)?" He asked Beverly. "And translay (translate)."

Ian laughed at Oliver. "Actually, I'm the one who dragged my brother and sister out here. They never get out much so I decided to torture them for a day. I just like standing around. It's an ok party I guess. We just moved in so I'm not familiar with anyone yet." He smiled brightly, being a very social person. His Hawaiian accent had gotten less thick so it was easier to understand him than it used to be.

Bo smiled and nodded, “Alright, I’m glad that I didn’t permanently accelerate your heart, I think going a normal pace is good.” He moved closer again, and closed his arms around her waist and sighed, giving a nod, “Fine, I won’t hit him, but just for future reference, he’s 18, right? In case I change my mind. I’ll have you know, my dear, that while it doesn’t bother you, it irks me when guys call girls ‘ass’ because you have many other wonderful body parts including your brain.” He kissed her cheek lightly again and then squeezed her around the middle, “Yeah, he wants to meet you again too.” He squeezed her middle one more time and then took her hand and waved his siblings over to the group. “Alright, Chelsea, this is my brother sister. Vic and Cybill,” he explained, Cybill smiled at her and Vic gave her a nod as if to say, ‘I’ll acknowledge you, but I’m not sure how to react to you yet.
Edward smiled at his girlfriend as she walked to meet them in the middle of the field, where he’d forced his daughter to stay so they wouldn’t disturb her while she was onstage doing her thing. He leaned over and kissed her cheek, “You sing good,” he said, scrunching up his nose. Daylin smiled up at Seraph and lifted her hands, “Ser! I want to sing good like you!” she said with a grin. Edward smiled at the girl’s last sentence, “I told her she should go find her, she said that she would, but I don’t know how much she’ll drink considering they brought Aaden. I bet she will, though, Kade doesn’t drink anyway, so he can drive.”
Kelli was in fact on her way to finding Kris as the two young adults had their conversation. She’d pawned Aaden off on her soon to be husband who had found a playground where he could sit, watch the boy play and listen to music all at the same time. Kelli finally found her friend and grinned, “Kris!” she hollered to get her attention, “I haven’t seen you in ages!”

My parents traveled a lot, so I was going to school, and getting tutored... They had no idea what grade level I was at." "Ah, that sucks dude." Eric replied back, snatching one of the soda's from the cooler opening the top leaving a sizzle from the bubbles. "Well, its good to know I'll see someone I recognize in my classes hopefully." he grinned, before taking a sip of the canned soda. "Any elective classes you taking?" Sakda smiled at Jaela, but then his smile flipped at Beverly's words. He made a face, "I... Engli(sh) too hard! I hate learn it!" He told her stubbornly as he crossed his arms and stomped a foot, his tantrums not seeming to have changed since he was a kid. "You... you know Thai, why not just speak (Thai)?" He asked Beverly. "And translay (translate)." Beverly shook her head, "Because I want you to learn, and practice. Trust me, Chai was the same way, but he learned to cooperate and practice with me, and look at him now. He knows two languages fluently now." she tried explaining thoroughly again, suddenly feeling like she wasn't gonna get anywhere with Sakda. As for Jaela, she just stood there, watching the two argue, not really having anything to say then.

Danian felt Aya's grip tighten, and smiled to himself as she leaned her head on him. Resting his head on the top of hers, he closed his eyes and continued to move to the music.
When Aya lifted her head and whispered, he looked down in confusion, not registering the expression on her face. "What are you sorry for Aya?"

"Same here," Oliver said. "At least, the moving here part. My sister and I kind of dragged each other here, I guess. We brought our youngest brother, this is the first time he'd really settled down somewhere, so we're hoping to get him some semblance of a 'normal' childhood." He glanced around, looking for Parker, and found him still by the food. "He seems to have made a friend so far. So, where are you from then?"
Parker thought about his class schedule that had just been put together the previous week. "You know what? I don't even remember! I've got the basics down, and I'm taking a couple music classes. I have a few extra study halls, thinking about swappping one out. Just gotta figure out what. How about you?"

I think my older sister is taking up music as well. Me? Well, one class I'm gonna try out is Woodshop. I also signed up for a language class as well. 'think its Japanese." he thought more of his schedule he stuck in his head, "Yeah, its Japanese."

"Japanese? That sounds cool. I'm not taking any languages this year." Parker reached for a can of pop as well. "Aw yeah, cherry coke," he popped the seal. "My mom would probably like if I took something like woodshop. She's obsessed with me growing up with practical skills." He shook his head, a smile on his face.

Eric nodded, holding his can up with a light laugh, "Hell yeah, dude! Cherry coke's the bomb!" he cackled, raising his can with the words Cherry Coke out in front, before gulping down some more. Letting out one of his smaller burps he replied to Parkers next comment about Woodshop. "Well, she's probably right, dude. I mean, I don' know 'bout practical skills, but I'm taking it 'cause its fun! Or so I heard..." he chuckled.

Laughing along with Eric, Parker said, "Well you'll have to let me know. If you don't cut off any fingers or anything, maybe I'll take it next year. You into any sports? I've been thinking about going out for some stuff. Haven't really decided what yet."

Eric laughed, "I'll make sure not to." he told Parker. "Sports? Um, well I guess if I wanted to I could go out for something. I wouldn't know what though. I mean, I love sports and all, I just don't know if I'd be able to keep up, due to my computer game addiction I'm beginning to have." he chuckled slightly. "What were you thinking of trying out for?"
