She walked over to sit on the bench, still shivering. She sniffed again, smiling. "I think we have some soup or something at my house if you'd like. I could change out of these wet clothes, and I could try to find something for your brother to wear." She blushed at the compliment, sure her face was gonna burn off. "Thanks." She said, looking away. "Nice to meet you Jake."

Still keeping his siblings close, he took a couple steps towards where Hanna sat down. He grinned then, hearing that she was actually inviting them over and even possibly supplying them with some cleaner, and less worn out clothes. "That would be great, actually." he smiled wider, looking down at what his brother again, still sniffling, wiping his red nose on his wet jacket sleeve. "I'm sure he wouldn't mind that either, actually. Thanks." he smiled, looking back up at Hanna with more confidence. "And its great to meet you too, Hanna."

Hanna smiled, standing. "Great." She zipped up the jacket, pulling her arms out of the sleeves to wrap them around herself. She wished she would stop shivering. She began leading them away from the lake towards her house, looking back to make sure they were following. "It's not too far from here." She said with a smile.

Jake simply grinned at Hanna. He picked up Sam to carry him, hoping that would warm him up a little bit, and followed Hanna to her house, with Olivia following next to her brother, hugging her now wet teddy bear tight in her arms again.

Hanna led the way to her house, hoping none of her siblings, or her mom, would be there. It would be kinda hard to explain why she and a little boy were dripping wet and why she was bringing home strangers. All the way there, her coughing and shivering grew worse, but she tried not to pay attention to it. Finally, they made it to her house and she pulled her key out to unlock the door. "Uh, you guys can wait in the living room." She said, covering her mouth to try and hold down another cough. "I-I'll be right back." She quickly dashed upstairs to her room to change clothes. She went into her younger brothers room, finding some clothes that were to small for him and went back into her room, getting some of her clothes that she'd grown out of for the little girl. Grabbing Jake's jacket, she made her way back downstairs, into the living room. "Here you go." She handed him the clothes and his jacket. "They may be a little big but, their something. I'm sure my brother won't mind if they go missing."

Jake did as he was told, leading the little ones into the living room, deciding to stand rather than sit. He didn't want to seem rude to the girl he had literally just met. Olivia stayed the same position as he was when they were walking, clutching on tightly to her bear, but looked around curiously at the house they were standing in. "Jake?" she asked, her eyes still wandering around the place. "Are we gonna be staying here?" she asked, looking back up to her brother curiously. Jake shook his head. "We just came here to grab some clothes and soup for Sam. After that, we'll be heading on our way again." he told the little girl, stroking her slightly damp hair gently with his free hand, adjusting his grip to the three year old in his arms still. Once Hanna made her way back downstairs, seeing not just one pair, but two pairs of clothes for each of his siblings, made him smile wider. "Thank you so much." he grinned, setting Sam down carefully, as he grabbed the clothes he was handed to him. "Look, Liv, you got some fresh clothes too." he smiled at his sister, who just buried her head in her bear shyly. "Um.." he looked back up to Hanna with a curious expression on his face, "You mind if we use your bathroom, you know, so I could help them change out of their wet clothes?"

"Sure." Hanna smiled. "The bathroom is right down the hall. I'll go make some soup while you guys get changed." She went into the kitchen and fished around the cabinet for some soup. "Oh, there's only one can. Oh well." She pulled the soup from the cabinet and began making it, humming softly as she did. When she was done, she poured the soup into three separate bowls, placing them on the table with spoons. There wasn't enough for her but she didn't mind.

Jake nodded with a smile, leading his siblings down the hall to the bathroom. He handed Olivia the set of clothes for her, letting her change on her own, while he stripped down Sam, changing him out of his wet clothes and into the newer, dryer clothes. They were slightly big on the both of them, but they did both look a lot happier and warmer than before. "Jake...what about Teddy? He's all wet." Olivia whined, holding up her teddy bear, which was still a bit damp. "We can dry him with the rest of your clothes outside, okay? It's nice and sunny out, he'll like that." Jake told his sister, Olivia still frowning slightly. "Wha-what if he gets stolen?" she clutched onto her bear tighter. "I won't let him get stolen. Trust me?" Olivia nodded to her brother, hugging him next, just as tightly as she had with the bear, and Jake returning the hug back to her, pulling Sam in for there little group hug as well.
Jake led the little ones back out of the bathroom, finding Hanna in the kitchen then, seeing her set three bowls of soup on the table. At first he was more than thankful. But then he frowned when he only saw three bowls when there was four of them. "You don't want any?" was the first thing he asked, seeing her red nose that she had and he didn't. "I mean, I wouldn't want you to be getting even sicker than you already are. You can have mine if you want. I'll be fine." he reassured her, motioning for the other two to take a seat and start eating their own soups, helping Sam into his seat first.

Hanna turned when she heard the three come into the kitchen, smiling when she noticed the clothes were slightly big on the kids, it was adorable. At Jake's question, she shook her head with another smile. "I'm fine, you go ahead and eat it. I'll eat something later." Of course, her body chose then to betray her, attacking her with another coughing fit. When it was over, she could feel that her face was red, but shook her head, brushing it away. "I can always ask my mom to buy some more soup."

Jake frowned when he denied his question, watching her body react with another coughing fest she started to have again. "Are you sure?" he asked, patting Sam's back lightly as he started coughing a little more, but not as bad as it was before. "You're starting to look a little flushed, is all."

Hanna nodded, though she was starting to feel her confidence waver a bit. "I'll be fine." She reassured him. "Go ahead and eat." She placed a hand to her head, she was starting to get a headache. She walked over to the kitchen table, sitting down and resting her head against the wall, closing her eyes.

While the kids continued to sip on their soup then, feeling much better now that they were warm and had food in their stomachs, Jake sat in his own seat, about to take a sip of his soup when he noticed Hanna not looking so well as she just was a few minutes ago. Jake set the spoon back down in the bowl without taking a single sip from it, got up and slid the bowl over to Hanna. After all, she needed it more than he did, and he wasn't even all that hungry like the kids were either. "Here. You need it more than I do." he told the sick looking girl. "Don't say anything, just..just eat it." he told her once more, ending with a light smile to her, returning back to his seat again, stroking Sam's back as he continued sipping on the broth of the soup as he had already finished the noodles, as did Olivia happily.

Hanna opened her eyes, startled when Jake slid the bowl to her. She opened her mouth to argue, but closed it again when he told her not to say anything. She gave a soft sigh, she wasn't really that hungry, but took a sip of it anyway, if only to make him feel better. Hanna shivered as the soup went down her throat, the warmness of it countering her still cold body. It made her feel a little better, though she knew she was definitely sick and would be for a while. She took another sip of it, not really wanting to eat the noodles and glanced up at Jake, blushing and lowering her gaze again. "Thank you." She whispered, biting her lip.

Jake took a quick glance back over to Hanna as she thanked him, whispering out a short and simple, "You're welcome," and turned back to his siblings, where Olivia was just about finished with her bowl, whereas Sam was still working on his slowly, with small coughs every once in a while. "That was good." Olivia spoke up to the girl. "Thank you." she said shyly with a cute smile kept on her face. She turned to her brother then, "Jake...where're we going after we're done here?" she asked curiously, Jake opening his mouth to answer but Olivia quickly added in something else, "because I wanna stay in this town. I like it." she smiled wider, as did Jake. "I like it too, Liv. We'll have to find a place to stay though while I look for a job, okay?" he told his sister, his tone lowering softer towards the end. He didn't want Hanna to suddenly feel even worse for not giving her food to some kid who could possibly be considered 'homeless' right now.

Hanna slowly worked on her soup as they spoke, still not eating the noddles. "You're welcome." Hanna smiled back. She bit her lip as she slowly realized, "You guys don't have anywhere to stay?" She frowned, pushing away her soup, it wasn't even half way gone. "You guys could stay here if you'd like. We have enough room and I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind."
