Sprinting through the grass, his feet pounding against the cement making his way to the forest entrance, the wind beating against his face and through his hair, Eric finally had made it out of that hectic house filled with what he called "his family." Running through the forest, passed all the trees, he slowed in his tracks, arriving at his destination. The lake. He wanted to see what this lake was all about anyway, since they just had to live right across from it. Which wasn't terrible, heck, it was a lot easier for him to walk to and explore more things around him rather than places like the mall or movie theater. Places that his two older sisters were most ecstatic about. "Whew, I think I'm safe here." he muttered to himself, walking over to the large rock to sit on which also had the most perfect view over the lake. "Wow...guess they were right. It is an awesome view." he whispered to himself, leaning back on his hands as he let his legs dangle over the water below him.
Things were peaceful out here. He heard the birds chirping, the wind rushing through the trees, a nearby bush rustling behind him....wait...a bush rustling? Apparently, his twin, Beverly had followed him all the way down here. She kept low and quiet, for Eric still hasn't noticed what was happening close behind him. Crouching low to the ground, being extra careful to where her feet were stepping, she managed to come up behind Eric, and jump straight on his back! "Ahh! Beverly! What the hell?!" Eric yelped, nearly taking a dive into the lake. Of course, all Beverly did was let out her usual giggle, deciding to take a seat beside her twin. "What are you doing here? Didn't you notice that I kind of needed time alone?" Eric continued complaining, causing Beverly to only roll her eyes and laugh. "Mom told me to come look for you. She's pretty pissed, Eric." she explained, Eric just staring back off into the view again, not saying a word for at least another minute before changing the subject. "Shouldn't you be with your boyfriend, or something?" he simply said without a blink. "Well, I would, but for some reason, he's not answering my texts. My guess is that he's either helping unpack like we should be doing, or Kasem is being an annoying pest to him again." Beverly replied, exaggerating the two words trying to give Eric a little hint. Not like he cared or anything. Remaining silent, Eric did, Beverly simply added in, "Oh well, I'll just hang here with you for now. Since this really is an awesome view and all. Away from everything...and everyone."

Kiet ran after his twin, Som. "Stop Som! Mom said we had to help with-" His words were cut off as he ran into his younger brother, causing them both to tumble onto each other. "Gotcha!" Kiet told him, feeling accomplished as he pinned his brother down. "Stop Kiet, get off me! Look," Som told his brother, forcing Kiet to look to at two kids about their age hanging out on a rock. Kiet climbed off Som and smiled slightly at their company, "Hi." He said, giving a simple wave. Som stood up and dusted himself off, his eyes instantly going to the boy. He gave his most flirtatious smile, his facial features looking confident. "Hey, I'm Som." Kiet rolled his eyes and hit his twin on the back. "T̄hūk s̄ib s̄ām mị̀ h̄ı̂ khuṇ thāng d̂ān k̄hwā k̄hxng thāng thī̀ ca cĂȘāchū̂ kạb thuk khn thī̀ khuṇ h̄ĕn! (being thirteen does not give you a right of passage to flirt with everyone you see!)" He growled to Som.

As the twins were off in their own little world, completely blocked by any other annoying sounds nearby, something suddenly caught Beverly off guard first. Swinging her head, with her pony-tail swinging back over her shoulder, she gave a little smile. Thai kids, maybe? Yes! Maybe I'll finally get some more Thai practice! "Hey." she replied with a simple smile, Eric then turning his head when he suddenly heard himself another boy speaking over to his side. "Um, hi?" he said questionably, not really sure what one of them was even saying next. He nudged Beverly, thinking maybe she knew. It did kind of sound like the Thai she was still learning from Thongchai. "Hey, Bev, what'd they say?" Awkwardly enough, Beverly actually understood what it was that they had said. Sitting there motionless, she turned her head slightly whispering back to her twin, "I-I think that kid just flirted at you." she told him hesitantly. "Bu--but he said that he's only thirteen and that he flirted with everyone that they passed by.." she finished off, Eric's mouth just completely dropping. "So he decides to flirt with me?!" he shouted, a bit too loudly in fact, causing Beverly to facepalm herself as a hint to Eric that he really didn't need to shout that last part out so the other two could hear. "Way to go, Eric."

"Um. not quite.." Kiet muttered, hearing Beverly's translation, a meek smile on his face. Som just grinned wider, resting an arm on his twin's shoulder, "Even if you don't like guys right now I could make you-" His flirting was cut off by his brother. "Stop it! It's embarrassing to be around you like this!" He scolded, hitting his brother on the head. Looking to the other two, he gave an apologetic smile and offered his hand to shake, "Sorry about him. My name is Kiet, and this is Som." He told the other two.

Beverly just wrinkled her forehead, trying to hold in her laughter before they were finally introduced. "I'm Bethany, and this is my brother Eric." she introduced, Eric frowning, since he hated it when his sister always introduced him herself. "So..is Mike like, gay or something?" Eric immediately let out, Beverly's mouth dropping, punching his shoulder after. "Eric!" "What? I'm curious. He was just flirting with me you know. Kind of gross, really." Beverly just rolled her eyes, "Yeah, and sorry about my brother. He tends to speak without thinking most of the time."

"Actually, I'm Bi." Som replied simply. "Som! Stop it! Now!" Kiet growled before smiling at Beverly, "Yeah... Sorry about mine too..." He said, rolling his eyes. "You seem pretty good at Thai." He added as an afterthought.

"Ha! I knew you were somewhere along the lines of that!" Eric laughed out, grinning back. "Well, I am single. But unfortunately for you, I am one-hundred percent straight. So, sorry for breaking the mood for you." he explained, acting a bit cocky for a second there. "Eric, your such a pain..." Beverly muttered under her breath turning back to Golf then. "Seriously, little brothers are so annoying..." she added in, rubbing her temples as if she had a headache, removing them when she heard the comment on her Thai. "Oh, thanks. According to my boyfriend, I've been getting better and better at it, too." she smiled proudly. "Still gotta practice, but I'm getting better." she grinned, suddenly turning confused just then. "Wait, you called him Pirath. I thought his name was Mike.."

Som smirked and got close to Eric, putting a hand on Eric's shoulder and bringing his face only inches away before telling him in a smooth voice, "You sure you don't want to test that? I'll make it fun for you." "I know right? So annoying... Oh, your boyfriend is Thai?" Kiet asked Beverly, trying to ignore his brother except for pulling him away from Eric by grabbing his arm harshly. "O-oh yeah. Um. I don't know if you know, but a lot of Thai people have their Thai names, so mine is Kiet, and my brother's is Som. Then there are nicknames that are given that's shorter. It usually has no relevance to the actual name though. Mine is Golf, and his is Mike." Kiet explained, hoping he didn't confuse the girl in front of him. "It's also usually used as an English name." He added with a shrug.

Eric's eyes suddenly widened at the closeness Mike was getting to him, flinching as his hand was on his shoulder. "Whoa...dude, seriously? That's just nasty to me.." he explained, pushing him away just as Golf was pulling him. Beverly couldn't help but giggle at the scene, before turning back to her own conversation with Golf. "Mhm, his name is Thongchai. But I just call him Chai." she nodded, stopping to remember that Thongchai also had an English name as well. "Oh yeah, Chai did say he had an English name too. Um..." she rubbed the back of her neck, trying to remember, "don't think I remember it though." she chuckled nervously, "Probably 'cause I call him by his Thai name all the time, I just sort of forgot it." she giggled at her forgetfulness while Eric just rolled his eyes, keeping a better distance away from Mike.

Mike sighed as he shoved his hands into his pockets, "Fine, gosh... no fun around here." "ว่าเป็นเพราะไม่มีใครมากของอีตัวเป็นคุณ (That's because no one's as much of a slut as you are)." Golf muttered under his breath. Mike "hmph" to his brother, but otherwise said nothing. Golf cleared his throat, "Yeah... we uh... We got pretty used to people calling us Golf and Mike instead of our Thai names." He sighed, "The most annoying thing was when we were still in Thailand... People always said we weer posers cause there's this duo group and we're named after them." "I'm proud to be name after Mike." Mike replied nonchalantly. "That's because your name is normal." Golf replied with a growl.

Eric just laughed at Mike's response. "Don' worry, you'll find that special dude, dude." he told him, realizing how weirdly phrased that sounded, but tossed that thought out the window and crossed his arms. Meanwhile, Beverly was laughing at what she heard Golf said to his brother. "Okay, I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you said something about Mike being a slut. Am I right?" she asked with continuous giggles. "But hey, don't worry about that. I still think your names are awesome. Even Golf. 'reminds me of the sport, but still, it makes a pretty cool nickname." she grinned back.

Mike just frowned at Eric, not saying anything, "It can be a girl too, dude." Golf laughed, "Yeah, I did. I said no one's as much of a slut as he it." he shrugged, "I guess it's okay for a nickname... I don't like it much. But you see... when we were born, the celebrities Golf and Mike's older brothers were popular, and our parents were watching television and saw Golf and Mike and insisted on naming us after them." He explained. "Maybe I wouldn't find it as annoying if I had the normal name..."

"Relax dude, I just messing with ya." Eric laughed, giving his shoulder a light punch. "Seriously though, there's someone out there for everyone. My sister found one, and hopefully, I'll find one too." "Aha! I knew you were jealous of me!" Beverly shouted over-hearing what Eric had just said. "Hey, hey now. I never used that word." Eric said, putting up his hands in defense. "But you meant it, didn't you? Don't lie, lil' bro." Beverly laughed, as Eric just turned his back to her, facing Mike again. "Sisters..." he grumbled under his breath. Still laughing, Beverly turned back to Golf, smiling proudly as she had gotten her translation right again. "Really? Damn, I wish my parents would of done that to us. I think that would of been awesome! I could dress just like them and pretend to be them and all." she giggled, imagining her vision coming to life.

Mike shrugged, "Don't have any sisters..." He muttered. Golf laughed, "Yeah well, it doesn't help they're like... ten years older than us." He told Beverly light-heartedly. "Mike is only 21, Golf is the one who's around 23." Mike replied simply. He grinned at what Beverly said, "It's fun to go around and do that. After mom let us dye our hair, we looked even more like them. You can always pretend to be a celebrity."

"Be lucky, dude." Eric said, rolling his eyes at his sister's giggling. "Especially having a twin that's a girl..ugh.." he groaned, "I mean, it is cool that she's not really so girly like my other sisters, but, she does have those moments...those annoying girl moments." he rolled his eyes. "Awesome! I so wanna dress like a celebrity now. Who do you think I would look like I could be. A Thai celebrity would really be cool, too. Like a rock star or something." she told him excitedly.
