"I'm half Thai and half French." Suchin explained with a smile. She wondered slightly why she would take offense, it wasn't like she had said it demeaningly, after all.

"That's cool." Nada beamed at her. "Hey do you wanna sit down? The rest will be here in a few minutes." Polaris explained, gesturing to the couch. Qui smirked. "So how'd you find Quo?" She grinned at her brother who had his eyes closed, hoping that his sisters wouldn't make a fool out of him.

"We met at the park. "Suchin explained quietly. "I'm new here, so I saw no reason to why I shouldn't make some friends."

Hani smirked, looking at Polaris. "Well lord knows Quo could use a few friends too besides to Pot and Spoon." Polaris laughed at her comment, ignoring the glare from Quo. He looked at the ground though after that, not arguing or putting up a fight with his older sisters. "hey come on guys, give him a break. Suchin doesn't need to think he's a loner this early in the game." Nada said, winking and giving a short laugh. Quo shook his head, raising an eyebrow as he looked up. "Suchin, we can go back to the kitchen if you want?"

Suchin quirked her head at "pot and spoon," wondering if it was actually names of people or if Quo had previously been friends with kitchen utensils (because she was, after all, half Thai, and in Thailand many of her siblings would have quirky nicknames, like her cousin Drink). She looked to Quo and smiled, "Okay." She said simply, following him back to the kitchen like a little lost puppy.

Quo sighed as they made it back into the kitchen, looking at Suchin. "I'm sorry about my sisters. They can get a little...carried away sometimes." He looked at the waiting food, holding his hand over it. "Still a little hot. Should be perfect temperature by the time everybody gets here." He sighed. He didn't really know when everybody would get back to the house.

"I... I guess..." Suchin began, before her stomach said what she was trying to say. gurgle She blushed and hid her face. "If it's okay with your family, maybe we should just eat now?" She squeaked, her voice muffled.

Quo glanced at her when he heard her stomach growl. He chuckled softly and nodded. "Why don't you take a seat and I'll get who ever's in the house in to eat." He gestured to a chair, then walked it of the room to round up his brother and sisters.

"O-okay..." Suchin muttered, sitting down in a chair and waiting patiently for Quo to round up his available family. She looked around; compared to the modest one story, two-turned-three bedroom home her eldest brother was able to afford, this was like a mansion.

Quo came back looking like he'd much like to kill someone, and the two someone's came bounding in, both taking a seat by Suchin behind Quo could. They were two boys, one older with blond hair and a mischievous and flirty look, the other younger, with brown hair and just a mischievous look. The girls that had come into the living room earlier came in next, with a few others that were just chattering about. Caris came in, sitting at the head of the table and Quo sat in front of Suchin, giving her an "I'm extremely sorry" look. Caris stood up and everyone fell quiet. "Quo, introduce your friend please." Quo paused, but then nodded after a look from Caris. "Guys, this is Suchin. Suchin-" He held his hands out. "My family." He said a little half heartily as everyone waved and then busted into conversations again. "Time to eat then." Caris said. The conversations died down a bit, but still continued, Quo looking up frequently to make sure the boys next to Suchin weren't bothering her too much, even though they were just shooting her annoying glances and trying to be rowdy.

Suchin looked slightly flustered at the two boys sitting on either side of her, blinking a couple times as she glanced at Quo worriedly. She took a spoonful of the soup, smiling up at Quo brightly. "It's delicious."

Quo sighed when he saw Suchin look at him. He smiled slightly though when she said his cooking was good. "Thank you." He stood up and looked at the brown haired boy sitting to Suchin's right. "Socco, trade spits with me." Socco looked at him funny, but after Quo shot him a harsh glare, he sighed and stood up, moving around the table so Quo could sit next to her. Quo sat down and whispered. "So sorry for my brothers."

"Oh it's alright." Suchin whispered back with a slight giggle. "I'm one of two girls in a family of seven." She added simply. She continued to sip at the soup, stopping herself from gulping it down right there. It had been so long she someone had made it this good. In fact, the last time she had had this soup was... when mum made it... she thought, feeling a bit sad thinking about her mother, unconsciously staring into the soup.

Quo smiled slightly, turning back to his soup and sipping at it quietly. He glanced over a her every now and then to see if she was enjoying it. When he looked again, however, it looked like she was just staring at it. He put his spoon down and slipped his hand under the table to let his fingertips just gently touch her leg. "Is everything alright?" He asked quietly so nobody else would notice.

Suchin blinked a couple times, as if forgetting anyone else was in the room. "hmm? oh yeah, sorry. I'm fine." She assured with a weak but pure smile.
