Max nodded, holding her tighter and closer in his arms as she started to blubber again. He kissed her forehead before softly talking to her again. "He's not going going to hate you, Nai. Sure, he may be a bit angry at first, but he'll just need some time alone to think, and before you know it, he'll be back to his normal, loving brotherly self." he tried reassuring her, hoping it would work even a little bit. "Besides, It's not like you'll be there alone. I'll be with you, by your side, holding your hand." he finished off, using his free hand to grab hold of one of Naomi's lacing their fingers together warmly.

"No!" Naomi looked up at him, eyes wide. "No, you can't be there." She shook her head, tears still streaming down her cheeks. "I can't have him angry at you too. He'll only blame everything on you." She gripped the front of his shirt, her voice a bit pleading. "Please, promise me you'll stay in the car, or in the house, away from Shane."

Max furrowed his brows more, looking closely into Naomi's now pleading eyes, filled with tears again. "But..." he started out saying, but stopped himself from arguing with her, and instead said with a more frustrated sigh, "Okay. I..I promise." she told her, kissing her forehead again to calm her nerves again, "So...I guess that means we're leaving Ari here with David? Seeing as you don't even want me to see Shane.."

Naomi lowered her head again, resting it against his chest. "Thank you." She sniffled, rubbing her eyes. "I just don't want him to blow up at you. It's bad enough that he's angry at me." She nodded at his question, sniffing again. "Yeah, I think it's best if we leave her here. David won't mind will he?"

Max nodded. "Anything for you, love." he said, kissing her head as she rested it back on his chest again. "I don't think he'll mind, Brooklyn will probably be keeping her company most of the time anyway." he explained, holding Naomi in his arms still, starting a slow rock back and forth just to get her calmed down even if it was just a tad more, before they left back to her mom's. "So, you wanna go ahead and leave now?" he asked after a short moment of silence between them.

Naomi smiled a bit, glad he understood. She curled more against him, looking up at him, her eyes slightly red from crying. She could fall asleep like this if she didn't have to go to her mom's. At his question, she took a deep breath and nodded, pulling away from him. "Yeah, I think we should leave now. The quicker we get there the quicker we can get it over with."

"Alright." Max grinned, letting Naomi go all the way, kissing her on the lips before getting back up to his feet again. "I'll go get my keys and tell David what's going on. You...well, try to clean yourself up a little bit before leaving this room." he teased at the last part, laughing a bit, before finally leaving the bedroom to let David know of the plan.

Naomi kissed him back and got off the bed as well, blushing and looking away, a small pout on her lips. She didn't say anything as she went into the bathroom to wash her face and pull her hair into a semi-decent ponytail. Naomi came out after a second, pulling on her shoes and walking out of the bedroom to where Max was.

After explaining to his brother about what was going on, he went over to pick up Arielle, just to move her over to her baby swing. Just as he finished doing that, Naomi walked out then. "You ready, Nai?" he asked, although the answer was pretty obvious coming from her that she wasn't ever going to be ready. He grabbed hold of her hand, leading her out the door and to the car. "Come on. Everything's going to be fine. You'll see." he promised, opening the door to the car open for her, waiting for her to slide in so he could slide in on his side, and head their way back to her mom's again.

Naomi nodded slightly, though she wasn't really ready. She followed Max out of the house and into the car, buckling her self in. Once Mas was in, she turned to look at him and bit her lip. "Max." She said softly, looking down. "I'm sorry for being such a bother."

Max got in his side of the car, turning over the engine, and was about to roll out of the driveway when Naomi said something to him. He looked to her with concerned eyes, placing his hand gently on her leg. "It's fine, Naomi. I promise, all I want right now, is to make you happy, and to get things right again with us..er, you and Shane. Trust me, you are not being a bother to me at all." he finished, off, taking her empty hand and kissing it softly before letting it go again for the wheel as he turned back into the streets and back to her family's house.

Naomi nodded, though she didn't really feel better. She felt like ever since she got here she'd been having breakdown after breakdown, and was worrying Max constantly. She sighed softly, feeling a headache begin to form. Naomi closed her eyes, laying her head on the window. She hoped she would be able to fix this with Shane, she didn't know what she'd do if things ended badly and she lost Shane.

Max continued to drive to the house in silence. No radio, nothing. It was best for Naomi at the moment, anyway. They both knew that. It took no longer than five minutes then, that they were soon in front of Naomi's mom's house. And with Shane possibly waiting for her in the living room on the couch, like a father would be doing to his daughter. That's what Max was thinking anyway. "Well, here we are." he spoke out quietly, careful not to startle Naomi too much as he grabbed her hand once more for comfort, squeezing it lightly before kissing it again. "I'll be right here waiting for when you come back out." he reassured her with a light and sweet smile.

Naomi felt all her nerves from before come rushing back as they neared the house. She felt her chest grow tight, and she turned to Max, panic clear in her eyes. She felt like a little kid going to school for the first time, gripping Max's hand tightly when he grabbed hers. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, though it wasn't really working. Finally, Naomi leaned forward to press her mouth to Max's before sliding out the car and going into the house. She found Mia in the living room. "Mom?" Mia looked up, smiling. "Oh, hey sweetie. What's up?" Naomi bit her lip. "Is Shane here?" Mia nodded. "Yup, in the backyard." Naomi nodded and slowly made her way to where Shane was waiting on a swing, flickering his lighter on and off. She swallowed, biting her lip and said, "Shane?"
Shane looked up from his lighter, frowning. "Where have you been?"
Naomi bit her lip, wrapping her arms around her waist. "Please don't hate me." She whispered, feeling her body begin to shake.
"Answer my question." Shane said, standing. Naomi flinched, backing away. "I-I..." She found herself suddenly feeling sick, her face paling. "Dammit Naomi, I don't hate you." Shane sighed, frustrated. "Just answer my question!"
"I-I moved in with Max." She whispered. "Why?" Shane narrowed his eyes. "We-we have a daughter together." She said, looking away. "A-and."
"And what?" Shane asked, crossing his arms.
"I-I'm..." Naomi took a shakey breath and said, "I'm pregnant again."
"What the hell?!" Shane yelled, causing Naomi to jump. "How the fuck could you be so stupid?!" Naomi's eyes filled with tears. "I-I didn't mean too..."
"You didn't think raising one baby would be enough?!" Shane interrupted, his hands waving wildly. "You go and get knocked up again?!"
Naomi looked away, her heat beat speeding up. "What Naomi? I know there's more you want to say." Shane all but growled. "I-I..." Naomi couldn't tell him. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she began crying. She covered her face with her hands and that's when Shane saw the ring. He strode over to her, grabbing her wrist and yanking her hand down. "What the hell is this Naomi?"
Naomi froze, her eyes growing wide. "M-m-me and Max a-are--" Shane stopped listening though, his eyes growing dark as he practically threw her hand away and stormed around to the front of the house. Naomi ran after him, grabbing his arm to stop him. "Shane! Wait!" She cried, only to have him push her away, glaring at her. "Get the hell off me." he growled, walking away. "How could you do this to me Naomi?" Naomi shook her head. "I-I'm sorry Shane."

After watching Naomi hesitate towards the front door, Max suddenly grew almost as nervous as Naomi herself now. He kept his hands clutched tightly onto the steering wheel even though the car was in park, and he just aimlessly stared out the front window, biting his lip harder as he worried more and more about what was going on in the house he was in front of.
After another moment of pure silence in the car, but not in his head, Max suddenly heard yelling coming from the front of the house. He looked out the window, only to see Naomi trying to stop Shane from doing something, and Shane suddenly yelling at Naomi in a louder tone. Loud enough for Max to hear even. He rolled down the passenger side window, thinking about yelling something out to them, or rather Naomi, but was still biting his lip, debating whether or not to do so. After another moment of thought, Max decided. "Hey, Shane!" he called out, his insides suddenly turning into jello from all the nervousness of what Shane could possibly do to Max now. "Can I talk to you for a second?" he called out again.
