Seraph grinned at him as she watched him easily slide the ring on her left ring finger. "Maybe it is..." She quirked a brow at him and took his right hand in her left, squeezing gently. "Relax Ed... Breathe." As if on cue, the waiter came with their food and she thanked him as she released Edward's hand. "I have a question...", she trailed off to put the napkin on her lap, "How did you know my ring size?" She looked at the ring, noticed the brilliant cut and smiled, glad that he knew her well enough to get her a simple ring. Ser took her fork and slowly began eating her pasta, nodding her approval at the flavors that assaulted her tongue. She took a sip from her water goblet before looking at Edward. "Are you feeling a bit better?" She giggled softly; she had been sure Edward had been shaking and she hoped he did feel better, since she had after all, accepted his sudden proposal.
Ser still couldn't believe it; she had been back for barely a week and yet she was already Edward's fiance. She was excited, that was a given... But there were so many things to plan and do and she had to tell her family and... She closed her eyes and took a deep breath; she and Edward had time. They'd be alright.

Edward shrugged at her question and smiled, looking up at her, "I asked your sister. She told me your favorite cut, too. I figured that if she didn't know what size your finger was, I'd guess and then get it adjusted if it was wrong." He started to cut his steak, watching her from across the table. He smiled at her and shrugged lightly, "I didn't really feel bad, I just got really nervous... I'm better now, relieved actually, just for the fact that you said yes. I knew that you loved me, but loving someone and marrying someone don't necessarily always go hand it hand..." He continued to eat his dinner, grinning the whole time. He looked up at her and shook his head. "I'm just so glad you said yes..."

Ser laughed and glanced at the ring, "Oh! So that's how you knew that I wanted that." She shook her head in amusement. "So Aya knew before I did huh? I bet you when I get home, the house is going to blow up from all the screaming." She watched him eat as she too slowly began to finish her dinner. "That's true...", she said softly before shrugging. "But I always believed that I'd want to spend the rest of my life with you and Daylin." She looked down at her plate as she confessed. "I mean... Married or not, I'd always be here for you, you know?"She met his gaze and winked, smiling cheekily. "I'm glad you asked again."

Edward smiled at her and nodded again. "Yeah. I mean, I figured you'd want something fairly simple, you're not really much for the flashy stuff, but as for cut, I had no idea. She told me your favorites and I sent her a picture of that one. She said it was perfect." He smiled and looked down at her ring again. "I'm really glad that you like it, though." He continued eating his dinner and then looked at her when she said something about him and Daylin. He nodded, "I'm glad. Now, though, we are getting married. And I'm glad that you said yes this time."

Ser laughed and nodded before taking a sip of her water. "I can't believe this is really going to happen now. I mean, I know we're probably going to have to wait a bit; your mom's getting married too right?" She didn't want to plan a wedding around Kelli's and she didn't mind waiting a bit more. They probably needed the time to plan it. She glanced at Edward and smiled. "So where do you want to get married?"
((Sorry it's short))

Edward nodded, "I know, I'm really excited. Mom actually doesn't know when she's getting married. She doesn't really want to get married until she knows for sure that we're all fine and everything. We really only have to work around Ali Rene's wedding because mom's been thinking about just going down to the courthouse anyway. Having the judge marry them. They've both already had weddings and she doesn't think it's that big a deal anymore." He continued to feed himself what was on his plate. He shrugged and looked back at her as she asked where he wanted to get married. "I don't know... I assumed you'd be the one to know where you wanted, and I don't care... I just want to marry you. Anywhere, anytime."

She finished the food on her plate before putting both of her hands in her lap, fidgeting with the ring that now rested on her left hand. "Oh, I didn't know Ali Rene was getting married. Has a date been set yet? We could get married after them if you'd like." Ser grinned at him, she couldn't believe that it was really happening. Here they were, just sitting and talking about it calmly but she felt like she was ready to burst. She quirked a brow at him playfully. "Well, see if you let me decide, I'd insist that we get married on the beach and I dunno if you and your parents would be cool with that." She had always wanted to get married on the beach, just when the sun set, it would have been perfect.

Edward shrugged, "I think mom's trying to get her to hold off as long as possible. They're still young. She'll probably let her move out of the house while she's in high school, but she's told me that she wants her to wait until they're out of high school for the actual marriage." He shrugged. "But they don't have a date set yet. Mom has to sign off for Ali anyway. You set the date for whenever you want. Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, I'm all for it, babydoll." He finished his plate and shook his head gently at her, "I'm fine with it, and mom will want you to have it wherever you want. I just want this to be what you've always dreamed your wedding would be like."

Ser nodded; she had forgotten about that. "Yeah that's true. Do you think your mom would mind if we got married first?" She laughed softly. "I mean, I'm in no hurry but if we do wait for Ali to get married and she gets married in like... 3 years, then that would be pretty long you know?" The waiter approached them suddenly and asked if they would like anything sweet so Seraph asked for the dessert menu. He came back and she glanced at it before grinning at Edward. "Share the tiramisu with me?" She laughed softly at him and grinned. "Well I was thinking; summer is fast approaching, we could have the wedding then. Mom owns a bit of the beach and we can have it there, I mean if you don't mind. I'm not really one for fancy stuff, as you very well know." Ser smiled a bit; she could already envision the scene, a simple white dress, something flowy with a bit of a train. She'd be walking down the 'aisle' to her brother playing something on his guitar. Georgie would make the cake, her mom and Aya would take the pictures and the sun set would be their backdrop. It'd be perfect, and that was her fiercest wish of all. That it'd be perfect.

Edward shook his head, "No, of course not. I mean, she doesn't know about this, but she'll probably be really excited about it all." He nodded again and shrugged, "I don't particularly want to wait three years. I mean, six months, a year, I'm fine with that. But three years is a long time…" He smirked, "I just want you to be close to me all the time…" He shrugged lightly and nodded, "Yeah, sounds good to me," he said about the dessert. He smiled at her statement and he nodded. "Summer sounds great. I'll have to have Gabe fly in for the wedding… Then Bo and Seth can be my other groomsmen." He smiled lightly, "You know, if you have three bridesmaids. Daylin will be the flower girl, obviously, unless you want her to be some sort of mini-bridesmaid."

Ser grinned at him. "You know I can't stay away from you for very long Smith; you're like a walking, living, breathing drug to me." They ordered the tiramisu and she grinned. "Georgie, Yume and Aya most definitely." She laughed. "Please! Let Daylin be the flower girl; she can be a mini bridesmaid for another wedding but I definitely want her to be the one with flowers in her hair." Ser paused and laughed softly; she couldn't believe she was gushing; she was so excited. Her grin widened as the tiramisu came and she bit her bottom lip as she practically ignored it to look at Edward. "You can't believe how excited I am right now."

Edward laughed lightly, "I guess I know that, but I'm ready for this to happen as soon as possible so you can come be my wife and live in my house and be Daylin's mom." He smiled at her and shrugged, "Would you want Daylin to call you mom?" he asked softly The dessert was set in front of them and he took his fork and put a bite in his mouth, chewing as she talked about her sisters being her bridesmaids. He smiled about her Daylin comment. "Alright, I want it to be how you want it." He laughed again. "Well its normal to be excited, right? It is your wedding..."

(( You know Aya is her only sister right? Lol. ))
Seraph thought about it before smiling at him. "I wouldn't mind but I'd want Daylin to decide. I mean, if she wanted to keep calling me Ser and not mom, then I'd be fine with it. Whatever she's comfortable with." She took a bite of the tiramisu and nodded in approval, chewing and swallowing before laughing softly. "I think it's weird that I never imagined having one of those big princess weddings you know? I always wanted it by the beach or something; a small group of friends, a lot of good food and music... I wanted it to be totally focused on the love that I would share with my husband-to-be."

((dang it, i thought about that really hard before I posted that too. They're her cousins aren't they?))
Edward nodded, he could understand that, but he guessed that Daylin would want to call her mom. She was more of a mother than Sierra would ever be. He didn't comment on it, though, he just took another bite of the tiramisu. He smiled at her as he swallowed his dessert. He grinned, "Yeah, well, princess isn't really your thing. You like simple. That's okay," he said softly. "Daylin will want a princess wedding. We're going to have to save up forever for that..." He smirked and took another bite.

(( yup. ))
Ser grinned at him. "Oh you know me too well, Smith." She laughed when he commented about Daylin and she quirked a brow. "Well you know it's going to start with prom. That's where everything's going to start." Even if it meant they were going to save a lot; she wasn't worried. She was actually very excited to start a family with Edward and Daylin. Once they finished their dessert, she looked up at Edward after taking a sip of her water. "Do you want to head out now?"
