Gregory walked into the coffee shop, adjusting the cap on his head. It was early, and his first day of work. Yawning, he walked up to the counter, glancing around. It looked like he was the first one here. Greg sat in the chair, yawning again, it was super early - for him at least - and he figured he should wait for someone to show up. The lady who'd called with his work schedule for the week had said that someone would be here to show him how things worked, but she hadn't said who it was. He supposed he should just wait for them then. But Greg hoped they got here soon, he was about ready to fall asleep again.

Trinity sped past different houses and different shops. She was running a bit late to work this morning, due to none other than sleeping in of course. She was still rubbing her eyes while driving, but she figured she'd wake up a little more once she got some fresh coffee in her system. That was the beauty of working at a coffee shop. Free cups of coffee. Not to mention she had to be awake enough to show the new kid the way of things there. Her and the rest of the crew had agreed to hire Greg on the job. The thing was though, no one had really told him who would be showing him around. She thought it would be a nice surprise, since they seemed to have clicked it the first time they met here.
She locked up her car, and fixed her badge, hat and apron before entering the shop, letting the little bells on top of the door clue in on everyone that she was here. "Well, hey there stranger." she greeted Greg, smiling with a small wave to him as she headed behind the counter to clock herself in before making herself a quick cup of coffee to help wake herself up.

Gregory was on his way back to sleep, his chin resting on his chest. He didn't hear the door opening, but Trinity's voice startled him out of his doze. "O-oh, hello. Are you the one who's supposed to be training me?" He was both relieved and a little worried that it was her showing him the ropes. Greg still remembered their time at the mall, and he was still very much attracted to her.

Trinity finished setting up the coffee maker and turned back to Greg with a warm smile flashing on her face. "Looks like it, doesn't it?" she giggled, leaning her front over the counter. "And by the way, don't be nervous. I could tell by your stuttering that you're probably a bit worried or anxious to get started. There's really nothing to it, once you get the hang of it." she explained to him in a sweet and calm tone, hoping that would calm him down a little.

Greg scoffed, standing and stretching once again. "I am neither worried or anxious. You just startled me." He walked over to her, leaning against the counter and glancing at the coffee maker. He could definitely use some. "Do...employees get free coffee or something?"

Trinity chuckled free-willingly at his excuse. "Oh, I see. I startled you. My bad." she said, biting her tongue in between her teeth in a tease. She looked back at the coffee maker, seeing it was just about ready. She went ahead and turned off the machine and started pouring some in her own thermos she brought from home. "Well, I don't know about the new kids...but its free for the rest of us." she explained, glancing back to him with a face showing she was just teasing again. "Nah, I'm kidding. Yeah, we pretty much just fill ourselves up one mug or thermos or whatever in the morning, and hope it'll be enough to keep us awake the whole day. You want some?"

"Hey, I'm serious." Greg said when he noticed her tease. He let out another yawn as she fixed her own coffee, about to protest to her statement when she said she was kidding. "Oh good. I was about to be very sad." He chuckled lightly, nodding. "Only one cup? I suppose that'll do." He laughed softly, showing that he was only kidding."

"Oh, I know you're serious." she chuckled, waving her hand at him. "It's just so much fun to tease the new kid, sometimes I can't help it." she explained, taking a small sip of her drink before grabbing another mug and filling it up for Greg and handing him it. "Oh, I'm sure one cup is all you'll need here." she giggled out another small tease, going back to her own cup.

"Teasing the new kid isn't very nice. Especially when he's still half sleep." He gave a tiny shrug, "We'll see." Greg took the mug with a thanks, taking a sip of it since it was still steaming. Once it was cool enough, he drank it down quickly and placed the cup on the counter. "So, what exactly am I supposed to be doing?"

"Oh, well I'm sorry for that. I didn't know." she giggled, taking another sip of her coffee before setting it in its own little corner so she could start opening up the place. "Um...well, you can start by helping me get ready to open up the store." she told him, then began instructing him of what and how to get everything ready, including making sure all the tables and counters were cleaned up, setting up the different coffee machines, switching on the rest of the lights, unlocking the door, et cetra. "It's not too hard once you get the hang if it. I'll show you the cash register when we get our first customer."

Greg nodded, listening intently to what she was saying before setting out to get stuff ready. He moved out to take the chairs off the tables. Once that was done he went to grab a wash cloth in order to wipe the tables down. "Er...what do I use to clean the tables?"

"Oh." Trinity quickly moved from one side of the room to the other, pulling out some Fantastik from under the counter, handing it over to Greg. "Just be sure to put it back under the counter when your finished." she simply ordered, motioning over to the counter where she had just come from. She went back to her doing, before finally turning the 'closed' sign to 'open' and opened the door to show they were now officially open for the new day.

"Will do." Greg took the cleanser, going back to wiping down the tables and then the counters. Once he was finally done with that he put the cleaner back and washed his hands, wiping his forehead and watching as Trinity officially opened the store, his hands on his hips.

Once Trinity had the store opened up, he motioned for Greg to follow her behind the counter. "Before anyone shows up, I'll show you how to work all the machines." she said, showing him the coffee-maker first, then the grinder, and all that good stuff. Soon enough, the first couple of customers came through the doors. "Alright, I'll start you off easy." she explained to Greg, "I'll ring up the customer, and all you have to do is get their order." she nodded to him, and turned back to the customer who simply ordered a frappuccino and muffin. She repeated it back to Greg, making sure he got that, and went on to the next customer who ordered an espresso, hot chocolate, and two pastries. Trinity let Greg know of that order as well, just to see how he would do with multiple orders.

Greg made his way behind the counter, nodding every-so often as Trinity showed him how to work everything. It wouldn't be too bad, everything was simple enough. Greg took a deep breath as costumers being filing in, nodding. "Alright. I'm sure I can handle that." He was mostly talking to himself though. As Trinity began calling orders to him, he set off getting everything together. He worked a bit slowly, but he got everything done and was handing the costumer their orders. Once he got the hang of it Greg was sure he'd work even faster.
