This was the evening Trinity has been waiting for. Her first date in what seemed like months. And it was with her new co-worker! That’s not weird, right? Trinity hoped not. Because there was no backing out now. Greg would be picking her up any minute now. She had just finished curling her hair and all she had left was to slap some makeup on. “Hey girl! Damn...you’re looking fine. Greg must be something special if you’re wearing that sexy outfit.” said her sister Katie, leaning against the doorway. “Well, I wouldn’t say special, but....” Trinity started, finishing up her eyes before looking around to Katie, “he is pretty hot.” she giggled, returning to the mirror to finish off her look with some red lipstick. Once she was ready, she took one more look in her full length mirror before turning back to Katie who was now sitting on her bed cross-legged. “How do I look?” “Like a million bucks.” Katie responded without hesitation, adding in a wink for Trinity. “He’d be stupid to not go out with someone like you.” “Thanks, Kat.” Trinity smiled, smoothing out her new top* over her jean skirt. Just two seconds later then, the doorbell rang, and Trinity perked her head back around anxiously. “He’s here! I’ll see you later, Katie!” she waved, grabbing her purse and rushed down the stairs to answer the door. “Well, hey there stranger.” she flirted. ((* - think of a turquoise-y color instead of brown))

"Huh? Greg, where are you going?" Zephyr paused in her trek down the stairs when she noticed the boy shrugging on his jacket. Greg looked up at his twin, slipping his camera around his neck before putting on his cap. "Out." "Well obviously. You going to take pictures? You don't usually dress up this nice to...wait! Are you going out with that Trinity chick?" Greg grinned, grabbing his car keys and sticking them in his pocket. He kissed Zephyr on the cheek. "Bye Zephy." With that he left the house and climbed into his car. "W-wait, Gregory!" Zephyr yelled after him, but he was already backing out of the drive and zooming down the street.
It wasn't long before Greg was pulling in front of Trinity's house. He took a deep breath, letting it out on a sigh before getting out of the car. He slowly made his way to the door, ringing the bell. It didn't take long for the door to be opened, and Greg took a moment to responded to the girl in front of him. "Hi yourself." He said with a smile. "You look beautiful."

Trinity smiled back in thanks. "You don't look too bad yourself." She grabbed Greg's hand and let him lead her to his car. "So, I'm guessing we're going somewhere for you to take more pictures of me?" She nodded towards the camera around his neck. "Where are you taking us, anyway?" she asked with even more curiosity.

"Why thank you." Greg grinned softly. He opened the door for Trinity, waiting until she was fully in the car to close the door behind her. He walked to his side of the car, climbing in. Turning on the car, Taylor Swift began to play softly. Greg turned to Trinity with a smile before speeding off down the street. Greg may be a lazy person but if there was one thing he did fast, it would be driving. "So many questions." He teased lightly, not answering them. "Have you eaten yet?"

As soon as Trinity got buckled in and the radio turned on, she let out a tiny little squeak at the Artist singing. "Oh my God, I love Taylor Swift." she bit her lip excitedly and looked up at Greg who smiled all the same. "Um, no, not really." she answered, letting her finger tap on her leg to the beat of the music. "But..you never answered my questions. Where are we going?" she asked, even more anxious now.

"Do you really? She's one of my favorite artists." Greg said, one hand on the wheel, the other tapping against the gear stick lightly. "Good." Greg had a small picnic in the trunk of his car, nothing too fancy, which he hoped she didn't mind. He fought a smile, keeping his eyes focused on the road. He could practically hear the anxiousness in her voice. "Excited?" He smiled a bit, pulling into a parking space smoothly. Climbing out of the car, he went into the trunk, grabbing the picnic basket and then walking over to her side of the car to open her door. He held out his hand for her, his smile even wider. "Come on."

"Seriously? That is so weird, she's my favorite artist too! Well, one of them anyway." she shrugged, smiling wider than ever now. She gave another slight shrug when he asked if she was excited. "A bit." she giggled. When they arrived to the park, Trinity was sort of surprised, but not really. Greg didn't really seem the type to do anything really fancy. But who said simple was a bad thing? Trinity liked most things simple. Trinity stepped out of the car, grabbing his hand when offered and looked down at the basket in his other hand. "We having a picnic then?" she asked in her sweet voice, grasping his hand a little tighter then.

"Yeah." Greg began leading her through the park, heading towards a spot where nobody ever went. He'd discovered it when his twin forced him out of the house once. It was a nice small hill, perfect for him to take pictures on, which he did often. "It's not much, but I hope you like it anyway." He explained, leading her up the hill. He stopped near a tree, laying out the blanket that was in the basket and gesturing for her to sit, waiting until she did to sit down himself and begin pulling the food and drink from the basket, glancing up at her every few seconds with a tiny smile.

Trinity followed him up the hill to the spot and sat down when he gestured to do so. "It's fine. I actually like the simple dates. They always end up being the most fun anyway, right?" she giggled, watching as he started pulling out the food and drinks. "Wow. Someone's been planning this date for a while." she teased, helping herself to a cracker and cheese. "Mm...now that's some good cheese. I know that's kind of a weird compliment to get on a date, but its true." she shrugged with a small grin as she went for more, adding in a piece of bread to go with it.

Greg gave a small smile but didn't really answer. He was never one for dating, and his last relationship gifted him with twin babies, and so the two of them never dated outside that first night. He simply shook his head at her tease, watching as she took some of the food first. When she complimented the cheese, he murmured a thank you and grabbed himself some food. "I'm glad you like it." He said, remembering the sparkling juice. He pulled out a couple cups from the basket, placing one in front of Trinity and pulling the cold juice out next. "I brought some juice too if you'd like. It's sparkling."

Trinity piled up her plate full of food. She didn't even care if she looked like a pig, she was hungry. And this food according to her, was delicious! She took one look at the sparkling juice and swallowed her bite of bread before saying with a smile, "Ohh, thank you. I was actually hoping there was something to drink here. Kind of surprised you got all that to fit in that one little basket." she giggled, stealing a sip of her juice once it was poured.

Greg grinned, pouring himself a cup as well and taking a sip. "My mom is a master at tetras." He said simply, chuckling lightly. His mom used to joke that his grandma was a tetras master as well, always able to stack suitcases into a tiny trunk, and that she had learned from it. He ate slowly, much more content to sit and watch Trinity than actually eating himself. "How long have you been working at the coffee shop?"

Trinity laughed softly to herself. "Oh, really? So I guess she taught you well then, huh?" she teased, grabbing another bite of bread followed by the cheese and crackers next. For having such a light picnic, the food actually seemed to be pretty filling for Trinity. Maybe it was because the food really was that good. She looked back up to Greg after taking another sip of her juice when he asked her a question. "Oh, um...probably around like, a year now, I think. Not really too long, but I'm definitely not considered new anymore either." she explained, taking a small bite of just the cheese. "So how are you liking the new job, anyway? Easy enough for you?" she giggled, knowing how lazy Greg could be by now.

"Of course." Greg winked, taking another drink. He nibbled on his food, not really eating it at this point as he listened to her talk. "It is, very easy. When it's not lunch hour that is." Greg found he liked working morning shifts and evening shifts better, since there was less traffic than it was during the day. "And it's good that I could find that job, since I have to pay--" He cut himself off, taking a bite of bread. Greg wasn't too sure how Trinity would feel about him mentioning the kids she didn't know he had, and he hesitated to tell her. "If you're done, I have some dessert." He said then, half hoping she wouldn't ask about the abrupt change in subject.

"Yeah, that lunch rush takes a lot out of all of us." Trinity nodded in agreement. "I think we can all agree to that. I just think of that much more money that comes in my paycheck though." she giggled, sipping on her drink some more, seeing as she finished most of her food already. She noticed the sudden change in subjects in him then. She wanted to ask, "What helps you..." but what made her stop mid-sentence was the fact that she was being nosy. It probably was personal business. Family matters maybe, who knows? So she agreed to the subject change too, shaking her head as she changed her sentence to, "Dessert sounds great! What d'you have?" she asked anxiously, leaning over trying to get a peak in the basket.
