With his daughter's hand in his, Matthias marched down the busy road to the park. It was a nice day; he hadn't seen a day like this in what seemed to be ages. The sun was out and shining, welcoming them, and the weather was nice. It had been raining in the past few days, so Matthias had been looking forward to the son, as has his daughter, Elisabeth. The idea to the park actually was, indeed, his daughter's idea - she had been staring outside from the balcony and pointing at the sun, chirping like a bird, "Sun, dad-da, look, sun!" After a quick breakfast, the two set out.

Elisabeth was happily skipping through the grass, stopping here and there to pick up a dandellion or to stare at a bird in wonder. Soon enough she was rushing towards the playground, taking interest in the slide. "Dad-da, carry me up!" Matthias followed his daughter's command, quickly climb up the set, praying that it wouldn't break, before he was about to give her a gentle push. His daughter was clinging to him, though, indicating that Matthias was obligated to go down with her. With a sigh, he plopped her onto his lap and slid down.

''ma-ma we go park today?'' Carmel asked as she got into bed with Savannah. Looking out of the window Savannah smiled, the weather was nice it would only take them an hour tops to get ready and walk to the park. ''Sure we can darling. We just need to have breakfast and get ready then we can go to the park'' Carmel couldn't contain her excitement as she jumped out of bed and ran down to the kitchen nearly crashing into her uncles and cousins on her way down, telling everyone on the way down she was going to the park. Savannah followed her daughter down stairs and make her some breakfast as she made them a little picnic sandwiches, carrot sticks, fruit and crisps. Packing the picnic up she realised that Carmel had finished her breakfast. ''Come on Carmel time to get ready for the park. Put your bowl over there'' Savannah pointed to where her aunt was loading the dish washer, ''Aunt LeeLee will load that while we get ready'' Holding her hand out for her daughter to grab once she was ready, they made their way back upstairs. A quick wash for the both of them, get dressed, put some sun lotion on and then they would be ready.

''Come on ma-ma'' Carmel yelled, trying to open the front door. ''Wont be a minute'' Savannah chuckled grabbing everything they needed for their day out Savannah took Carmel hand, opening the door and setting off in the direction of the park. The walk took them all of ten minutes was so good living close to most places in town. Carmel's eyes landed on the playground. Seeing how lit up her eyes where Savannah smiled, ''Wanna go play?'' Carmel nodded her head letting go of her mums hand and running towards the playground. ''be careful'' Savannah shouted after her, she had only just got the concept of running and she hadnt carried any band aids if she was to fall over.
Putting Carmel in one of the baby swing Savannah pushed her, ''higher'' Carmel giggled. ''not too high princess. this is high enough'' Savannah said as she stopped pushing for a while so the swing didn't go any higher than she thought was right her a little girl.
