Personality
Hadee is a quiet young man, sitting quietly in the corner doing his own thing is what he would prefer doing. The reason for this is Hadee’s inability to read social situations which has hindered him for much of his life. He’s never felt any personal attachment to a person other than his mother and father, and being raised by an indifferent father, Hadee used the television to pick up on what things were. There was also the subtle and unacknowledged fact that Hadee was also unhappy with his life, and found the lives on TV much better. Because of this juxtaposition of never experiencing social and emotional experiences himself but rather viewing them from the outside on television has given him an understanding of his own emotional detachment. He tries his best to connect with people, usual through references to shows or movies that suit the situation or even taking on personalities of characters he’s seen to fit in a feel more comfortable.
Even with that, Hadee’s never been a shy person preferring to quiet, and his distance is just him trying to figure things out, thinking them out too much, or thinking too fast for him to process. Very self-confident, just never one to show it off often, Hadee’s never taken criticism of himself hard unless it’s from a friend.
Likes: tv and film, acting, directing, dancing, movie homages, filimg, family, muffins
Dislikes: altercations, disagreements, awkward situations, daylight savings time, humidity, many many movies
Strengths: intelligent, observant, self-confident
Weaknesses: naive, basis real life scenarios off of fictional ones, not enough 'real world' experience
Goals/Dreams: To make his father happy and/or proud, to maybe become a filmmaker
History
Born in the Palestinian Territories to Ania and Gubi Sani, a Polish/American woman and a Palestinian man. His parents got along well enough before Hadee came along but the problems appeared soon after he was born. Ania heavily disliked being a stay-at-home mother, especially with such a difficult child as Hadee. Hadee rarely played as a small child, sitting in silence or just playing with toys on his own. It took him forever to speak, not that he didn't learn, just that he never found the need to speak before the age of six, what broke his silence was his inability to find a restroom.
Hadee's father found him difficult because he wasn't an outgoing young boy, didn't want to rough and tumble, so Gubi withdrew from his son and wife, and because of this Ania drew away from her son and Hadee drew away from them as well. He still loves his parents but realizes that he just wasn't an easy child and blames himself for their eventual split
Hadee and his father bounced around from place to place, while his mother settled back down in America. Finally taking a page from her book, his father moved them both there, and there they continued the habit of moving around. Their most recent move, here to Riverside, hasn't fazed Hadee in the least bit. Just the start of a new season, right?
