When Naomi looked back up, just that smile on her lips warmed Max's whole body back up. That was exactly what he wanted to see from Naomi. And the next words to come out of her mouth to match. "I love you too, Naomi." he replied, kissing her once more on the lips, realizing they were being watched again. "Hey, Ari? Are you guys really that bored or something?" he chuckled at the little girl just standing there awkwardly.
"I hungwy. I wan' din-din, momma." she said simply, placing her hands on her tummy.

Naomi heard Arielle coming just a few seconds before she actually arrived, quickly wiping the rest of the tears from her face. Her head was still pounding, and her body was still humming but not as bad as before. "Alright baby." Naomi stood slowly, picking up the little girl. Arielle wrapped her arms around her mommy's neck, placing a kiss on Naomi's cheek. "Let's go make some mac and cheese, hm?" Something quick and easy, so Naomi could lay down. She still felt a bit dizzy, and didn't want to freak Arielle out anymore. "Yummy!" Arielle agreed, resting her head on Naomi's shoulder.

Max grinned, glad to know Naomi was feeling well enough to spend time with her own daughter again. "I'll get Matt's bottle ready, if you have Arielle." Max told her, going over to pick up his cooing son. "Come on, Matty. Let's go get your bottle." he grinned, but then scrunching up his nose suddenly, putting it towards Matt's diaper. "Woo! But first, you're getting a diaper change..." he told the baby, his face still all scrunched up from the smell. "Be right back, Nai. Gotta change this little stinker." he waved to his wife, heading back to the baby room.

"Alright." Naomi responded, setting Arielle on the ground, who was now walking around in circles chanting, "cheese! cheese! cheese!" Naomi went over to grab the milk and cheese from the fridge, and the noodles from the cabinet. She giggled a bit at Ari's chanting, grabbing a pot in order to boil the noddles in. "Ari, which do you want, stars or regular?" She asked the little girl, holding up the two boxes. "Staws!" Arielle squealed.

Max carried Matt into the nursery, cooing at the baby as he got him all cleaned up again before bringing him back into the kitchen. Matt seemed to be feeling a lot better now that he was clean too, considering he was squealing louder and fidgeting in his daddy's arms even more so, kicking his feet and clapping his hands. And then he saw the fridge, where he instantly knew that's where they kept his bottle. He reached his tiny little hands out, cooing, "Ba! Ba-ba!" meaning Bottle in his language. "Alright, Matt. I'm getting it. Hold your horses, now." he told him, balancing him on his hip so he could heat up the milk for him first, testing it on his wrist before handing it to him. "There ya go, buddy. Drink up." he chuckled, watching carefully making sure Matthew wasn't chugging it down too fast for him to choke in the end. He walked back over to the other side then to Naomi. "Hey, sweetheart. Need any help?" he asked sweetly, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Arielle continued her chanting until Max came back into the kitchen, then she ran over to him, latching on to his leg with a giggle. "Daddy~ Staws~" Naomi smiled up at Max, trying hard to mask the pain she was in, even though he already knew. She could still feel his worry and didn't want to make it worse. "No, I think I'm good. Unless you want something to go with the mac and cheese, then you can make that yourself." Naomi teased.

Max looked down from the baby in his arms to only chuckle at what Arielle was up to now. "You're having Macaroni stars, Ari? Yummy!" he cooed at her, before adding in, "You think daddy could have some? Daddy's very hungry too, you know." As a response, Arielle nodded her head enthusiastically and kept herself latched around Max's leg as she continued her little chant. Max just shook his had and turned back to Naomi with a soft grin. "Nah, I think I'm good. I'll just have some of Ari's mac n cheese she's gonna share with me." he grinned, looking down at Matt then, seeing he was beginning to choke a little. "Oh..slow down, now, little one. Don't drink too fast now." he tried telling him who just stretched out his hands towards the bottle Max pulled away from him momentarily. He gave it back, but held it for him this time so he wouldn't drink too fast anymore.

Naomi smiled softly at Max's interaction with Ari, turning back to the pot when the water started boiling. "Alright, I made enough for all of us." She turned the water down to low, mixing in the cheese sauce. "Someone was hungry." She commented when she heard Matt coughing on his milk. After a second thought she went to the freezer and pulled out some chicken nuggets, putting them on a sheet to put in the oven.

"Mm....Looks good already, honey." Max commented, looking over Naomi's shoulder right before she pulled out some chicken nuggets. He looked back down at Matt then, making sure he was drinking a little bit slower this time. "Ooo~ Momma makin' chicky nuggs!" he heard Arielle squeal suddenly as Naomi was placing the nuggets in the oven. Arielle then began chanting two new words, while still latched on her daddy's leg. "Staws! Nuggs! Staws! Nuggs!"

Naomi grabbed a cup from the cabinet, filling it up with water and drinking it down just as quickly as she waited for the nuggets to be done. She was hoping that the water would help soothe her headache, even though she already knew that it wasn't a natural headache and wouldn't be cured by natural means. With a soft sigh Naomi sat on one of the chairs, placing her head on the table. Almost immediately after, Arielle stopped her chanting and looked over at her mother, a frown on her face. "Mama? Up." Naomi peeked on eye open, leaning over to pick up her baby girl. Arielle giggled, kissing Naomi on the nose and resting her head on her shoulder. Naomi smiled softly, the love she felt from Ari helping to soothe the headache a bit more. Pretty soon she could smell the nuggets and stood to grab the oven mitt, taking them out to cool down.

As he watched his wife lay her head on the table, Max's frown grew deeper. He was going to go over to comfort her some, but Arielle seemed to have beat her to it already. That's what made him smile again. Just seeing Arielle try to soothe her mother of whatever it was that was bugging her. It was amazing how kids did that. All they had to do was smile and the parents would instantly feel better. Or almost better, anyway. As Naomi went to take out the nuggets, Max decided to help a bit and set Matthew in his high chair seeing as he finished his bottle, and helped stir up the mac n' cheese. He grabbed three bowls, one of them smaller than the rest, and scooped up the pasta into the three bowls equally, and served them to the table. "Oo~ staws!" Arielle chanted once again, and rushed over to her seat. Max helped his daughter into her seat before seating himself next, and began eating himself.

"You coulda got a plate you know." Naomi teased lightly as Max grabbed some bowls. She pulled out saucers from the cabinet, setting the nuggets onto them and placing them on the table as well, grabbing ketchup and barbeque sauce from the fridge and setting that on the table as well. Naomi quickly set Ari down once she began wiggling in her arms and watched her run over to the table eagerly. She went over herself, much slower considering her head was still killing her and began to slowly nibble on her nuggets.

Max shrugged. "Yeah, well, its too late now." he chuckled. "We'll work with what we got." he added in, blowing off the steam of his own food before taking his first couple bites of it. "Mm~ Good mac n' cheese, isn't it Ari?" he cooed at his baby girl, who squealed in delight.
"I wuv staws!" she giggled, poking at her pasta with her plastic fork before taking a big bite of it.

"Daddy wuv staws too?" Ari asked, pushing her mac and cheese onto fork and sticking her now cheese covered fingers into her mouth. "And Matty and mama!" She stuck her forkfull into her mouth, grinning at her daddy. Naomi chuckled lightly, using a napkin to wipe Ari's mouth before turning back to her own food. After a second of eating she stood, going to the sink to grab some water again. "Anyone else want anything to drink while I'm up?"

Max chuckled with a small grin. "Yes. Daddy loves stars too, Ari." That made Arielle beam with excitement all over again, as she continued smashing her food into and around her mouth and hands. While Matthew on the other hand was clapping his hands and cooing along with his sister. "Gah!!" he screeched, reaching his hands outward towards Arielle's mac n' cheese bowl. "Matty wan' staws, too?" she asked her brother who just squealed in return. Before she could do anything about it though, she turned around immediately to Naomi who asked her for a drink. "Ohh! Oh! Can I ha'e, um...uh, app juice, mommy? Pweeeeassse?"
"I'll just have a water, too, sweetheart." Max added in with a soft smile.
