Almost as soon as Dali released her hands, they were back to fidgeting. Luna hated the fact that she got so nervous so easily. At his question she nodded. "T-tea is fine." It would give her some time to try and calm herself. It was almost as if all the hard work her and Rochelle had done to break her out of her shell was going down the drain. Luna was determined to feel comfortable around Dali by the end of their...outing. It's just an outing...right? Not...a date? Luna sighed to herself softly.

Dali got up, having a feeling she'd prefer one of the decaffeinated teas to one of the more sugared up ones. Before leaving, he flashed her a smile, "I'll get it for you." He told her, the unspoken words of "I'll let you calm down" seeming to linger in the air.

Luna gave a nod in response, waiting until he was gone to rest her head on the table with a soft sigh. What was wrong with her? So she doesn't see someone in a few months. That automatically means she suddenly forgets they were ever friends, even danced together. She was even comfortable around him at one point. Apparently, that was exactly the case. Luna felt anger growing, directed towards herself and took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. If she was going to enjoy today, she would have to learn how to get over her nerves. And the first step to that would be to speak louder than the barely above a whisper voice she currently used. Luna rose her head from the table, glancing around the room, and then in the direction Dali had walked away.

Dali stuck his hands in his pockets as he debated a good tea. He wished he had grabbed his coffee cup, maybe he could've asked for a refill on his own drink. He ordered her as well as himself a tea and waited for the drinks before heading back to the table. As he set the tea near Luna, he gave her a weak smile. "Here you go." He told her simply, sitting back down and trying to think of what they could talk about next.

A quiet determination masked Luna's face as she waited for Dali to return. She was lost in her thoughts however, so it startled her when he set the tea down next to her. "O-oh, thanks." Luna took a slow sip of the tea, wrapping both hands around the cup. "So, do you come here often?" She spoke slowly, trying her hardest to keep the stutter from her words.

Dali looked around and shook his head. "I only recently found the place," He admitted. "I will usually stop in and see what music's playing before I decide if I want to stay, though. Because sometimes they'll play heavy metal or something and while I like listening to it sometimes..." He let out a small laugh. "I just feel like the atmosphere doesn't match, you know?" He finished with a shrug, mixing his tea absent-mindedly..

"Oh." Luna wasn't one for heavy metal...or any loud music for that matter. She nodded in agreement. "It's definitely a nice change from the club." Luna smiled a bit, turning her gaze to the tea in her hands. The club definitely wasn't her style, and she was sure she wouldn't be returning any time soon, unless Rochelle decided to suddenly pop up and drag her back.

Dali smiled and looked around, giving a small nod in agreement. "On days like today, when they've got indie bands playing, it attracts an older crowd and it almost seems like one of those high-end coffee shops." He told Luna with a small laugh.

"I've never been to one." Luna said, taking another sip of her tea. "A high-end coffee shop I mean. Are they nice?" She once again took a look around, for the first time really noticing the crowd. It made her just a bit more relaxed knowing it was an older crowd, but only a bit.

"I don't know for sure." Dali admitted with a guilty smile. "But from what I've seen on TV dramas and stuff, it seems like it is." He explained. He looked around as well, glad to see Luna was relaxing a bit. Suddenly, he remembered something, something he carried with him in case he ever ran into Luna. "Oh!" He exclaimed, digging through his bag until he came across a simple piece of blue cloth in the shape of a star (for he had been too embarrassed to make it a heart) with "Love is the compass to the heart" written on it in cross-stitch. "This is for you..." He said, a slight flush rising on his cheeks. He looked hard at the table, not able to look her in the face at the moment. "It's not much but... I hope you like it..."

"Oh. M-maybe we could go to one someday?" Luna stuttered, a light blush crossing her cheeks. Luna rose her eyes at his sudden outburst, her eyes widening when he offered the star to her. "M-me?" She took the star with slightly shaky hands, the blush on her cheeks deepened as she read the writing on it and smiled a bit, biting her lip. "T-thank you. It's pretty." She said truthfully, lowering her own gaze to her star.

Dali nodded, "I'm glad you like it... I uh... I saw the quote a while back and um... thought... thought of you..." He stuttered, his words barely audible over the music. His blush became a darker shade of red. "Maybe one day we can go to a nice coffee shop as a uh... um... a date?" He stumbled out, looking at her with just his eyes as he bit his lip, waiting for an answer.

"O-oh..." Was Luna's answer, her brain suddenly shutting down and not letting anything more intelligent come out of her mouth. He'd thought of her? The idea caused her heart to double in speed, and a tiny smile cross her lips. His next suggest caused her to nearly faint though, her eyes growing wide. "A-a date? You w-want to go on a date with m-me?" This was the first time Luna had ever been asked out. "W-why?" She hadn't meant to ask like that, but it genuinely surprised her that he wanted to go out with her. "I-I mean, I would love to go on a date." Luna finally concluded, sucking her bottom lip between her teeth.

Dali's face softened into a smile as he got the reply. Teasingly, he nudged her arm softly with his hand, "What do you mean why? You're beautiful." He told her simply, his heart feeling like it was going a million miles a minute, but he finally felt like he was calming down. "And you're friendly, and down-to-earth, and cool..." He told her, his smile widening.

Luna blushed a deep red, moving her eyes to the table. She was speechless as he began to explain just exactly why he wanted to go on a date with her. She hadn't realized he thought all that, and she found it hard to look him in the eyes. "O-oh..." Luna bit her lip, not quite sure what else to say to that. A small smile spread on her lips, and then she sucked her bottom lip between her teeth. "I-I didn't--I mean...you really think that?"
