Garret closed his eyes and dropped his hand from her hair to her shoulder. "We should get going, you've got a big job ahead of you and I need to get home and..." He didn't really have anything to do, but he knew she said she needed to go and he didn't want to keep her longer than she wanted to be out. "I would ask if you need a ride home, but you don't and asking would just be wasting more of your time." He got up and held out his hand to her.

The comfortable silence between them broke when he spoke up and Aya checked her the purple watch around her wrist and cursed softly; her mom would be flipping tables soon if she didn't come home with the plain yogurt and chicken breasts. They were having curry for dinner. She took his hand and let him pull her up. "Come here you beastly thing you." She gave him an affectionate hug as thanks before pulling away. "Yeah; stole the car for a bit; need to go to the supermarket for some things so my mom let me borrow it. Even if it isn't hers." She grinned, remembering the grumbling Cameron as he handed her a copy of his keys.

Garret returned the hug and pressed his lips to her temple before letting her go and pointing over his shoulder toward the locker rooms. "I should go change and get home, my dad probably wants to go over tactics and all sorts of other crap for the upcoming came. Enjoy the supermarket, I'll see you tomorrow." He winked and turned to go inside, glancing over his shoulder to look at her one last time.
