Monte was already winded by the time she caught up and passed him, but he kept on running, not falling too far behind her, as they reached the end point and she most definitely finished first, he continued to jog to slow down, but wasn't the least bit embarrassed that she'd beat him. "You're pretty...." He grinned, taking in short breaths. "...good at running." He'd put the pause there intentionally, he did in fact think she was very pretty and he also thought she was pretty good at running. "But you called me hot, I heard you, there is no denying it." He laughed and bent over, hoping to catch his breath before he made himself into a fool. After a short recovering period he stood back up and wiped his forehead with his shoulder. "There was no one around but me to witness your admittance, so it's my word against yours and frankly, I don't give a fuck who else believes it."

Olivia smothered a laugh behind her hand, trying hard to mantain her expression of disgust as he caught his breath and tried to talk at the same time. "No I didn't. I called you hot shot. Not hot. There's a difference, and it doesn't matter who hears it and who doesn't."
She continued walking, making sure her legs didn't seize up. Not that she'd admit it, but beating him had been tough and if they raced again she wasn't sure the outcome would be the same. "So how come I haven't seen you around school? I mean, if you've only just graduated then..."

Monte walked along beside her, although he wasn't aware that she was walking for a reason. "Uh, huh, well I think the reason it doesn't matter if anyone else hears it or not is because it's obvious that you really think I am hot, regardless of whether or not your lips will admit it." He turned so that he was directly in front of her, walking backward. "You probably haven't see me around school because you're a itty bitty tenth grader and I was a Senior, or maybe it's just because I spent more than half of the school year in detention or not there at all." He made a face and shrugged. "I've gone through a bit of shit this year and being visible in the halls of the school weren't my highest priority." Trying to avoid contact with Aya, Serena, and Gracie were his biggest tasks. "You must not have attended many baseball games, because I was at every single one of those."
