Di sighed, walking aimlessly around the lake. She was bored today and nothing seemed to interest her. Looking at the calm blue waters being disrupted by playful ducks, she sighed, running her fingers through her purple hair. Purple eyes skimmed the banks, looking for something that might catch their attention. When nothing seemed exciting enough, she sat down, heaving it a long, loud sigh. "I wish today would just end. Maybe tomorrow would be better." She rested her head on her hand, crossing her legs and looking out at the water.

Trying to free himself from his sister's grip, Finley groaned, "Fay, don't drag me like that, it hurts." Faith laughed to herself, shaking her head, "I'm not letting go, you're coming with me. I'm dead bored." With her free hand, the redhead pulled a lighter from her pocket and flicked it on and off a few times, "I wanna burn something. Where's that big tree we saw the other day?" "Don't! You'll get us in trouble again..." "No I won't, there's no one here to see- oh." Catching a glimpse of the only other person by the lake, the girl smirked, "Hey Fin, we have company. Humans are much more interesting than plants, don't you think? C'mon..." She began pulling her brother along behind her as she headed towards the other girl. Powerless to resist, Finley let himself be led along, hoping that his twin would at least make some attempt to not be a complete psychopath today.

Di had exxcellent hearing, a trait she had her cousin didn't always use kindly. She whipped her head over to where she heard voices. Two red heads where standing a few paces away from her, one of them flicking a lighter, the other trying to scramble away from her. Di stood up, then noticed the girl start dragging the boy towards her. "Aw crap." The girl didn't look like the friendly type, and Di wasn't in the mood to get in trouble today. She folded her arms, tilting her head slightly as they came closer. "Hey." She ran her hand through her purple hair. She used to be afraid of people seeing it when she was little, but that changed later.

Pocketing the lighter, Faith put on the sweetest smile she could manage, trying to look friendly. It was always fun to trick people, and pretending to be nice was something she was very good at. Havng the lighter out a while ago might have spoiled her chances, but she was sure she could recover from the minor slip up. "Hello. Aren't you a little lonely all by yourself?" she let go of her brother's arm and held a hand out to the other girl. Rubbing his wrist, Finley smiled sheepishly at the stranger. He would have loved to make friends but he knew what Faith was up to and he didn't like it one bit. "Fay, we should get home now..." She laughed slightly, keeping her attention on the other girl. "Boys... they're so rude..."
[[ OTL Fin is blonde, sorry for not mentioning that .o. ]]

Di glanced at the girls hand, listening to the girls voice before she went for the hand. "Not a bit. Just bored." She shook it once, then put both of her hands in her pockets, looking at Finley. "He's not rude. Are you sure you don't need to go home?" She studied Finley, then looked back at Faith, flashing a quick smirk to make the girl happy and stop smiling so big. "What kind of lighter you got? One of those skinny one or the rectangles that come on if you open them right?" She laced her fingers behind her head. Her sister played with fire all the time, so she was used to it; but she didn't like it when someone tried burning something living or her.

Finley waved nervously, and it looked like he would have said something if his sister hadn't spoken again. "Of course we don't need to go home." The girl felt a light frown fall over her face, but replaced it quickly with a forced smile. It appeared this girl wasn't going to play along as she'd hoped. Reaching into her pocket again, the redhead girl pulled out her lighter again. It was a cheap skinny one that she'd managed to swipe from home, but it was better than nothing. She flicked it on and off a few times, the smile on her face growing as she watched the flame. The boy twisted a small strand of hair around his finger and plucked up the courage to finally speak. He'd given up on trying to drag Faith home (he knew better than anyone that once his twin set her mind on doing something she could not be persuaded otherwise) and decided that if they were going to be here for a while it would be rude not to introduce themselves. "I'm Finley, by the way..." his voice came out a lot quieter than he'd hoped, but hopefully the girl could hear him anyway, "And that's my sister Faith. What's your name?"

Di looked over Faith and nodded. "Fair enough. But don't use me as an excuse if you get in trouble." Di smirked and watched the girl's face twist into a smile as she flicked the lighter on and off. She decided to add to the conversation if they were going to hang around. "My sister has one that flips. It's cool cause it's purple with a Red dragon wrapping around it." Di looked over at Finley as he decided to speak up. "Name's Di. Not just a D, but as in D I. Don't get it confused." She smirked lightly to show that the threat wasn't too serious.

"We don't get in trouble, ever. Fin's just a little chicken." She flicked the lighter on and kept it like that, staring. "She does? That's cool." she shrugged a little, "I've got loads more at home, this is just the first one I grabbed before we left..." Finley nodded quickly upon hearing the comment directed at him. The girl was smiling a bit, so it was possible that she wasn't serious, but he was a little scared anyway. What if this girl turned out to be scary like Faith? By now, Faith was starting to get a litle bored. She didn't have a very long attention span at the best of times, and now she really wanted something to do. There was a small tree to her side, and on impulse she grabbed a few leaves and held them over the flame. It was very satisfying watching them change colour and curl up, and the redhead found herself laughing very slightly.

Di nodded, watching Faith play with the lighter. She wasn't sure she believed that they never got in trouble, but she didn't judge people hat she didn't know. She may be outspoken but she knew when it would be rude. She grinned slightly at Finley. This kid seemed to he super jumpy. She laced her fingers behind her head and sighed lightly, watching Faith burn some leaves. "You seem extremely fascinated by this Faith." She said sarcastically. "Hey do you guys wanna go do something? Like climb a tree or something."

Faith frowned, not liking the tone of this other girl's voice. "Not really, they're just leaves. They're not as bright as trees and they don't scream like people do. Oh well, maybe later." Smiling nervously back at Di, Finley's face brightened a little, "That sounds like fun, I'm pretty good at climbing trees!" For a moment he looked a little proud of himself, but that stopped when his sister laughed, dropping the cremated leaves to the ground. "Yeah, because you're always hiding in them. Honestly, you're so pathetic I sometimes doubt we're even related." The smile was gone from the boy's face in seconds as he looked down at the floor, "Mm..."

Di folded her arms, listening to the girl talk, then raising her eyebrow. "A little violent today are we?" She shook her head lightly, but then looked over at Finley. "That's cool I-" Her mouth dropped at what she heard his sister say, her fists balling at her sides. "How could you say that to your own brother?" She pointed a finger at Faith's face. "Are you always this mean, or do you enjoy picking on him because he seems to have more of a brain then you." She didn't like the girl's attitude and Di couldn't stand it when people picked on someone, especially when the other didn't defend themselves.

"No different from every other day." Faith smirked, and raised an eyebrow when Di started to get angry. It was difficult for her not to laugh, as she loved it when people were pissed off with her. She also knew it was infuriating for the other person if there was hardly any reaction, so that was the course of action she was intending to follow, "I do enjoy picking on him, yes. Although I'm not so sure about your brains idea." Finley winced slightly as he listened to his sister speak and continued staring at the ground. He knew she was just joking really, but it still hurt. She wasn't always this mean but niceness was a very rare occurance. He wanted to tell Di that Faith was capable of being friendly, but the words wouldn't come out so he just stayed silent.

Di turned her glare to Finley. "And why won't you stick up for yourself? This jerk is treating you like crap and you just stand there." She shook her head and looked back and forth between the two. "So you're both mental. Great. I thought I was going to get a day off from psychotic idiots, but I guess you guys are everywhere." Di folded her arms.
