Zim laughed and nodded. "But sometimes it's more fun that way. More people to talk to and hang out with, more older siblings to learn from." He looked up, frowning that the rain was letting up. He looked over at her and smiled at her. "You're welcome." He smiled lightly, throwing it over his shoulder. "Do you normally walk hone by yourself?"

"I agree." she told him again. Rosanne nodded, "Yeah. I normally walk home by myself." she shrugged. "I'm new at this town...I don't really know anybody..." Rosanne looked back up at the sky. "What about you?" she curiously asked. "Do you normally just walk random people home?" she smiled.

Zim smiled lightly, then frowned when she said she walked home by herself. "Well you've just gotten a new walker escort." He smiled, then laughed. "No, but I don't usually stand in the middle of the sidewalk either so that probably accounts for it on some levels." He smiled softly at her.

Rosanne smiled warmly. "D-do you mind showing me around town sometime, and around school?" she asked, hoping he would say yes because she knew nobody else around town. She pointed to a house. "Oh, there's my house." Rosanne told him. "You don't need to walk me all the way there, since it's right over there." she laughed lightly.

Zim smiled and nodded. "Yeah definitely, I'd love to." He smiled brightly at her, then looked at her house and shrugged. "Since my house is on the next street, I don't mind walking you there." He smiled brightly at her, slipping his hands in his pockets. He was lying, his street was a couple over; but he just wanted to walk her hone, maybe he could memorize the house and come see her again.

"Thanks," Rosanne said with a small smile. "Your house is on the next street?" she asked curiously, after Zim said his house was on the next street. Rosanne put her hands in her pocket, looking back at the sky. The rain had stopped.

Zim nodded but rubbed the back of his neck. "U-Uhm yeah, somewhere o-over there." Zim didn't look at her, looking up at the sky as an excuse. He bit his lip then shook his head, not being good at lying. "It's not I just said that because I wanted to walk you to your house. I live on Ashlawn, a few streets down."

"So you live on Ashlawn Terrence?" Rosanne smiled slightly. "We were going to move on that street, but we moved on Coldwater Drive instead," she told him.

Zim nodded, then pretended to pout. "Aww you guys suck. I need a few kids my age on my street. All I have are my brother's 16 or 17 year old friends or my sisters." He stuck up his tongue in mock disgust, then smiled lightly at her. "I might have to find you at your place a few times so that I won't be bored."

"You don't have any kids your age on your street?" Rosanne asked. "That must stink a lot." she nodded. "I have a twelve year old brother." Rosanne smiled. "Maybe you could meet him." Rosanne thought about her brother Ian. He always was laughing..

Zim shrugged. "I've got my brother Romishi, but he's out hanging with his friends from school. I told him I'd see him at hone later." Zim shrugged again. "Sure I understand you don't want to hang out I get it." He put his hands up, playing with her but not letting onto it yet. "I walk you home and you'd rather have me meet you younger brother I get it."

"That's not what I meant, and you know it." Rosanne laughed lightly. "My brother, Ian, is just more fun than I am." she told him. That's what Rosanne thought. Her brother was more of the type to talk and make friends easily, and he liked to take films. Rosanne thought herself as boring compared to her younger brother.

Zim laughed and nodded. "I know, I was kidding." He smiled lightly and shrugged. "I dunno, you're not so bad. Your fun to talk to and you ask good questions." He know that last part sounded stupid, and he mentally kicked himself for letting it slip. "I mean- Well-- ugh never mind." He looked away from her, a quick blush rushing across his cheeks.

Rosanne blushed lightly herself. "Thanks," she smiled. She knew she had overused the word thanks. "So, why didn't you walk home with your brother?" Rosanne asked him. "I didn't walk home with my brother because he had to go somewhere afterward. Ian always has somewhere to go afterward, anyways."

He laughed lightly. "You're welcome." He shrugged an put his hands in his pockets. "He's got his popular friends he hangs out with. They're not r eally my type and he understands. So after school, I usually walk home alone, unless one of my siblings comes to walk with me." Zim smiled lightly. "Well that's why I'll walk you home. I-If you want." Another blush crossed his cheeks as he looked away again.
