Elisabeth nodded. "Well, we always try to train the dogs as much as we can before we officially give them for adoption." she explained, glancing back at Sam who rolled back to his feet, heading towards the kitchen, to lay down next to his empty food bowl, whining in front of it. Elisabeth couldn't help but giggle. "Guess that means its lunch time for him." she glanced back to Sakda. "You wanna help me get the dogs lunch ready?"
"Really? Lissy works at the animal shelter too!" Jaela told him excitedly, "I really want to start working there too, but she said I have to be at least sixteen." she scrunched up her face, "But for now, I'm gonna practice taking care of the dogs here, as well as taking pictures." she giggled, just as she said the last part then, she held up her camera, and snapped another picture of Sammy holding Dixie like a baby.

Sakda smiled, standing up straight. "Sure! May as well practice, huh?" He said excitedly, following her into the kitchen. Sammy giggled as he got his picture taken, then gently set Dixie down. "Do you want to hold her now, and I'll take a picture?"

"Right!" Elisabeth giggled, leading him into the kitchen. She grabbed Sam's bowl in front of the dog, as well as Dixie's bowl next to it, setting both on the counter while she got the giant bag of dog food. "It's pretty easy for these dogs really." she explained, setting the bag on the counter, scooping certain amount of food out of the bag and into each bowl. "They pretty much get the same food. But at the same time, its still slightly different from each other. Example, they both need a certain amount of vitamins slipped into each of their bowls. Sam needing more than Dixie because well, he's bigger." she smiled, getting out each bottle of vitamin medicine for each dog.
Jaela nodded, setting the camera on the bed before picking Dixie back up again, holding her like a baby as Sammy did earlier. "Ready!" she squeezed Dixie close to her face, her smile widening even more when Dixie started licking her face.

Sakda nodded, following along, "Oh, the vitamin are important." He stated more than asked.
Sammy giggled, "One, Two, Three." He counted before taking the picture, looking at it with interest. "Wow, it's really cute!" He told her, giving her her camera back.

Elisabeth nodded. "That's right." she returned to measuring the smaller amount of vitamins for Dixie as he already did it for Sam. Once she was finished with that, she set both bowls back down where she first found them, Sam diving into his food dish, chowing down on his meal.
Jaela held the silly face as Sammy counted down. She set Dixie back down in order to take her camera back, looking at what was taken of her. "I like it!" she giggled. "Now, we gotta get a picture of all three of us!" she told, almost as if it were an order for him to pick the dog back up.

Sakda giggled as the dogs began munching on their food. He watched them with interest, "I can' wait to work at the shelter! Well... volunteer..." He said excitedly, correcting himself quickly. The shelter didn't allow teens to work there until they were 16.
Sammy picked up Dixie again, once again holding her like a baby. "How should we do this so we can both be in the picture?" He asked Jaela, petting Dixie on her tummy.

Elisabeth giggled. "You'll love it. Even if its just volunteer work. It's still worth it all the way." she grinned, "I am talking to the owner of the shop though, about getting me a job there, now that I'm sixteen, nearing seventeen soon."
"I'll just hold the camera up as far out as I can, so we all can be in the picture." she explained, getting in closer to Sammy and Dixie, who had tilted her head back after being scratched on her belly. Her head was laid back happily with her tongue hanging out, and her tail continuously wagging. "Ready?" Jaela asked, holding up the camera in front of them all. "One..two....three!" she counted off, before snapping the shot of them three.

Sakda smiled, "Wow, is the manager nai (nice)?" He asked her curiously, wanting to know about where he'd soon be volunteering.
Sammy smiled as the picture was taken, gently setting Dixie down before joining Jaela to see the picture.

"Oh, yeah. He's really nice." Elisabeth answered him with a simple nod. "I mean, there are times where he can get on you for something..but thats just because he wants to make sure the dogs, or even the responsibilities there are being done correctly and such." she explained to him, more seriously this time. "He really is a cool guy though."
Jaela turned the camera back around, pressing the buttons to get to the last photo taken of them. "Oh my gosh!" she laughed, "This one is so cute, look at Dixie!" she squealed, pointing with her open hand at the picture of the dog's head still tilted upward, her eyes gazed up at the two kids.

Sakda smiled, feeling more reassured now that he knew the boss would be nice and he'd have at least one friend.
Sammy looked at the picture, joining in Jaela's squealing as he saw the picture, "It is so cute!" Sammy said, jumping up and down a little.

"I'll have to take you in for a tour of the place. Have you meet the owner and show you around the place." Elisabeth reassured him with a smile, "I'll even show you one of the newest puppies that came in that I get to take care of. He's so cutee~" she cooed, closing her eyes, in making a visual of the newest rescue.
Jaela looked at the picture a few more seconds before turning back to Dixie to scratch under her chin then up at Sammy. "That one is definitely going in both of our scrapbooks." she decided as a matter of fact. "You're gonna be the star in our scrapbook, Dixie-dix. You know that?" she cooed back down to the doxie, who was now wagging her tail again, happily.

"I loo' for'ard to it." Sakda replied with a smile. "I got accep'ed as a volunteer, but haven't started yet." He explained.
Sammy smiled, "Yeah! I like it a lot!" He told Jaela, petting Dixie again. He smiled at the little dog, "It's cause she's so cute!" He cooed to the dog.

Elisabeth nodded. "You'll love it. Sometimes you gotta have some patience with the animals though...they're like kids. They need lots of love and attention.." she shrugged, giggling a bit more in the end when she said, "...and training."
Jaela nodded intriguingly, returning her attention back to Dixie who rolled onto her back next wanting a belly rub from them. Jaela just giggled, doing what the dog wished for, until she felt a grumble come from her own stomach. She placed a hand over her stomach, giggling lightly. "Ohh, I wonder whats for lunch." she wondered, looking back up at Sammy curiously. "You want something to eat too?"

Sakda nodded, "I know. Some animals it might take lotsa time to be used to humans, too." He said, repeating some facts he had learned from the internet.
Sammy giggled, "I'm hungry too!" He agreed, standing up. "I hope lunch will be something yummy. Sakda doesn't cook much." He said, adding a giggle with his last sentence.
