Jayde has been walking around this town for a while now. And without a doubt Kameron was surely getting tired from all the walking himself. So she decided it was time for a rest for the both of them. She led her son into the local park ahead of them, letting him run off in front of her towards the first thing that caught his attention; the slides.
Jayde however, meandered over to the bench nearest to the playground to keep a better eye on Kameron. She sat down, with her arms stretched out over the back of the bench, her legs crossed, and her eyes kept on her son as he climbed back up to the top of the slide again, getting ready to slide on his stomach. A worried expression on her face showed then, "Kameron! On your bottom!" she called to him, leaving a pout on his own face in return as he sadly sat back on his bottom instead of his stomach, sliding down to the bottom with his hands up in the air, letting out a loud screech. "Wheee!" Jayde only laughed slightly, shaking her head at her son being his silly ol' self again.

Regan watched as her four year old son climbed up the ladder, leading towards the monkey-bars, then slowly swung to one bar to another. She clapped. "Good job, Skye!" she said with a giggle. She noticed a girl, a little older than her, who called towards her son. Regan's gaze quickly went to the little boy on the slide, and Skye started walking towards the boy. "Hello!" he called with a giggle, his black hair behind blown back by a slight breeze. He skipped towards the boy, then stopped. "I'm Skye! Who are you?" Regan laughed at her son's introduction, then went over to the girl who seemed to be the other boy's mother. "Do you mind if I sit here?" she asked. "I'm Regan." she stuck out her hand, and smiled slightly.

Kameron got back to his feet quickly after sliding down back into the dirt, wiping himself off, just about to go on the slide again when another little boy caught his attention. He nearly jumped backwards at the sound of his voice coming near him. "Um..hi." he said softly. Kameron wasn't shy or anything, he just wasn't much into meeting new people. He was more of the independent type, was all. "I'm Kameron." he managed to mutter out, with just enough of a smile form out of the corner of his lips to show the boy he was friendly.
Jayde was just watching her own son looking like he was about to make a new friend. She was quite interested too, to see how he would manage introducing himself to another child his age. Before she could watch Kameron interact with the other child though, she turned to see that she was being introduced to as well. "Oh, no, of course." she smiled at the seemingly younger girl, motioning for her to take a seat, before shaking her hand in a friendly manner. "I'm Jayde. Is that your boy out there introducing himself to my son?" she asked with a curious smile and a slight giggle.

Skye skipped towards the boy, then smiled. "Nice to meet you!" he let out a light giggle. His voice softened, seeing that the boy wasn't speaking as loud as him. He approached the boy, then giggled again. "Can you play with me?" he asked politely. Skye really needed a playmate. Regan smiled at her son, trying to make friends. Her light brown eyes went back to Jayde, and she smiled. "Thank you." Regan told her, taking a seat next to Jayde. "Nice to meet you, Jayde." Regan nodded. "Yeah, that's my boy, Skye." she laughed lightly. "Your boy is adorable." Skye looked pretty interested in the other boy. Regan could tell that Skye definitely wanted to play with him. After all, Skye didn't play much with other kids. He never met kids as old as him. "We can play over there." Skye told Kameron, pointing to a sandbox. He already started running towards the sandbox, then tried making a sandcastle. Regan couldn't help but let out a giggle as she saw her son playing in the sand.

Kameron couldn't help but wince slightly at how much the boy was yelling. He wasn't really used to this sort of being from another boy his age. Probably because he was never this loud. "O-okay." he responded, heading towards the sandbox, not as fast as him, but still in a fast pace motion, stopping in his steps when he first approached the sandbox in front of him. He shrugged at first. Kameron wasn't too fond of playing in the sand, but he still found it fun at some points. He stepped into the sand where the other boy was digging, only instead of setting his butt directly in the sand, he sat down on the planter with his feet sitting in the sand. "Wanna make a sand castle?" he asked the boy, more curious than before.
Jayde nodded, "Nice to meet you too, Regan." she smiled at the young girl, grinning wider as she continued to giggle watching as the two boys were getting along so well already. "Thanks. You're son is adorable too. And a lot more hyper than my son." she giggled herself, watching Kameron not making any further movements towards the sand, as usual. "My son is so laid back...sometimes I wish he was just a little more outgoing than he already is." she chuckled out a smile, and sighed.

Skye giggled softly. He watched as the other boy walked over him, a little bit slower. He paused for a few moments, waiting for him. Skye curiously played with some of the sand, trying to pad it into a building. He looked up at Kameron and smiled when he sat in, "Okay." he told Kameron, starting to pad the sand into a building, and carve in a door. "Let's build a really big one." Regan smiled back at Jayde. "Thank you." she responded with a giggle. Regan wondered if Jayde was wondering why Skye's genetics were so different from Regan's genetics. The hair color was different, and he also had a darker shade of eyes. Maybe Jayde was assuming that Skye got his looks from his father. Skye looked back up at Kameron, and bit his lip lightly. "Aren't you going to...try to help me with the castle?" he asked curiously. He was starting to wonder if he had scared Kameron with his loudness. "Here." he came over next to Kameron, padding some sand towards the sand building that he had already built, trying to make it larger.

Kameron smiled a little wider then, giving a nod in agreement to his own idea. He slid his but slightly closer to Skye, though he still wasn't completely sitting in the sand. "I'm helping." he told the hyper little boy, piling up some sand of his own, widening out the castle they were making, and patting it with his hands to flatten the top gently. "Oh! It should have a bridge too. And a moat!" he suggested next, already starting to dig out a hole where the moat would be laid out.
Jayde nodded, glancing back over to the boys in the sandbox, happily watching Kameron start to grow more confident around the boy he was playing with. She smiled at that. Though she couldn't help but realize how different the mother and son looked. Everything was different about them. "So...I take it Skye takes after the father more?" she asked in a curious tone, her eyebrows slightly furrowed with curiosity.

Skye grinned at Kameron's suggestions. "Ooo! Good idea!" he giggled. He started trying to put some windows in his building, carving a tiny whole for one window. He started piling up sand on top of the building, flattening it when she was high enough. He smiled, looking at the whole that Kameron carved out for the moat. Regan smiled as the two boys build the sand castle, then her light brown gaze went back to Jayde. "He's adopted, actually." Regan told her. "My friend couldn't take care of her, so she gave him to me, when he was less than a month old." Kameron looked just like her friend, Sasha, having black hair and chocolate brown eyes, and a charming smile. He got some of his personality from Regan, however, being loyal and humorous, but a bit louder than the girl. She smiled at Jayde, "Kameron looks exactly like you."

Getting up from his seat, Kameron toddled around the sandcastle to finish off the rest of the moat, returning to his spot then, making the bridge last. He carefully piled more sand into the moat, flattening that piece out for the bridge to be created then.
"Oh, I see." Jayde nodded with a light smile. "That's good though that you're willing to take him in though. Very sweet of you." she complimented before taking in her own compliments that Regan gave to her. "And thanks. I'd like to think he looks a lot like me. Except for the eyes though." she frowned ever so slightly. "While mine are green, his are a magnificent shade of blue....from his father." she shrugged the last word out.

Skye kept padding on new sand, forming another building next to it. "How old are you?" he asked curiously, his gaze going to Kameron. Skye looked back at the sand that he padding on top of the building, trying to form a triangle, and create a roof. As he finished it, he leaned back and smiled. "What do you think?" he asked, carving out a small window. Reagan smiled at the compliment. "Thank you." she told her, then looked back at the boys. "Where's his father?" she asked curiously, then bit her lip. Jayde didn't seem too happy about talking about him, and she started to wonder why exactly.

Kameron looked up from what he was doing when he was suddenly asked a question. "Um..four." he mumbled softly, quickly returning back to his concentration in the sand. Well, until he was called back for another question, in which he perked his head back up, looking at Skye's part of the sand castle, smiling at the work completed. "I like it. Um.." he bit his lip lightly, "How does the bridge look?" he asked, again, in a soft tone of voice.
Jayde shrugged at the question she was asked. "Honestly, I don't even know. And...I don't really even care." she frowned, "We did go out for a year or so, but as soon as I got pregnant, he denied the baby and left me." she told her flatly, no emotion showing in her eyes at all.

Skye nodded. "Cool, I'm four, too." he let out a small giggle, and continued to pad the sand onto the castle. He smiled. "Thank you!" he giggled, "I like the bridge!" Regan looked completely upset for Jayde. "That's terrible." she frowned. Skye kept padding sand into another building, then carved in a small door. He made another building, this time taller. He tried carving the triangle on top of it for the roof, but it only made his sand tower fall. "Aw." he mumbled, then tried making it again. "You're brave." Regan told Jayde, smiling.

Kameron gave Skye a slight nod and smile, finishing up the last bit of the bridge before watching Skye's next building come to life before collapsing soon after. "Aww.." he pouted, moving over next to Skye to help him finish the last building, this time helping him out with the roof of the building, patting it down gently with his hands.
"Yeah, well, I learned to live with it." Jayde replied back, a light smile showing up on her lips again. "Besides, its not like I didn't have parents to support me. My parents actually helped me through the first couple years. They only stopped, because they started having money issues as well, and decided it was better for me to move out, now that Kameron was a bit older, and find a good job to hold." she explained, with a grin.

Skye smiled when Kameron started helping him with the roof of the building. "Thanks!" he smiled, "It looks great, now." Regan smiled at Jayde. "You're still brave, though." she told her. "I understand. I decided to move out of the house, since I thought it would be better--it would be a bit busier around the house with Skye." She smiled, "But my family visits us, because we live really close by." Skye looked back at his mother, then his brown gaze went back to Kameron. "Hmm..." he started. "What do you think it needs?" Regan sighed, "My brother always visits Skye," she told Jayde. "I think he was the most upset of my siblings when I left. He and Skye love to spend time together."

Kameron smiled a little wider then, starting to feel more comfortable with Skye. Although he couldn't help look back at his mother, just to make sure she was still there. And sure enough she was, smiling and waving at Kameron only to make him giggle with excitement. He turned back to Skye then, then to the castle. "Um....oh! It needs a flag for the top of it!" he told Skye, searching around the ground for something that would go well as a flag for them.
Jayde smiled wider at Kameron, giggling, she was just happy that he was finally enjoying himself with another boy his age. Turning back to Regan then, she returned her smile for a slight shrug. "I wouldn't know much about siblings. Considering I was an only child my whole life." she admitted, smiling in return though. "That's good that you still get visits from your family though. My parents would do the same for me, only they can't really afford the traveling. But we do send letters and make phone calls to each other though." she grinned, "Kameron's always so happy to get a call from his grandparents."
