Alex's cheeks flushed of their own accord and she looked at her wrist, the tattoo of three different sized stars clear on the inside of her wrist. She wasn't sure why she was being so shy; she would have said that she was a confident type of person who didn't take crap from anyone. She knew how to flirt, how to talk to the opposite sex. What was wrong with her? Did she suddenly transplant her personality to Xander or something? She looked up and smiled. "Sure, we could totally do that. I can't say that I know everything about this town but by the end of it you'll know as much as I do." She laughed easily, the nervousness slowly ebbing away from her body. "Naah, I don't think you're the type of person to switch my shampoo with honey so you're safe." She waggled her eyebrows playfully at him.

Seth found himself smiling as she blushed again. He followed his gaze to her wrist and rose an eyebrow. She has tattoos? "No worries. We can learn a lot faster with two of us touring the town. And there's less of a chance of us getting lost." Though Seth couldn't help but think he wouldn't mind getting lost with this girl. He glanced over at Aithne, who had gone back to playing on the monkey bars. He could tell she was still going over the steps in her head though by the way her face still read concentration. He laughed. "Honey? No, I don't think I would switch shampoo with honey. Maybe syrup. It's a lot sweeter."

She grinned, he had a point there. "Good point, Seth. I didn't think of that." Her gaze traveled to Aithne who was busy by the monkey bars and she had to smile. "You have a really cute sister. I wish I had a little sister like that... I mean, I do have a younger sister but she's 17 so I don't really consider that little anymore." Alex rolled her eyes. "It may be sweeter but at least it's not as sticky as honey." She groaned at the horror that had been her hair after the honey. She had literally beat up Apollo until he begged for mercy from her kicks.

"Thank you. Yeah she is cute." Seth smiled fondly. "I'm really lucky to have her. I don't know what I'd do without her. Although sometimes I wonder if she's growing up a bit too fast. I mean, she's already so mature for her age." He gave a soft sigh. He knew he had been forced to grow up at a young age. And with Aithne already showing such concentration at seven, he didn't want her to grow up to fast. "I want her to live a normal childhood but, I guess that flew out the window the day she was born." Seth laughed softly. "True, it isn't as sticky. I'll just be sure not to switch out your shampoo with anything." He smiled.

She quirked a brow, curiosity getting the better of her. "What do you mean? How could a normal childhood escape her the day she was born?" Alex laughed. "Yup, I think it would just be a lot safer for all of us if you didn't switch out my shampoo. I have a sort-of cousin who is older than me and loves to play little tricks on all of us. It was my turn for the honey-shampoo gag. Let's just say Apollo isn't as bruise-free as he was before I got to him."

Seth's brow furrowed a bit. "Well," he started, "My mom died giving birth to Aithne, and my dad decided he didn't want to be a father anymore. He didn't sign the papers for Aithne and gave up parental rights for me. I was 13 and pretty much forced to become a parent and older brother for Aithne. She didn't have a stable home the first two years of her life. Although she's always been a happy little girl, I've always wondered if having an older brother for a father affected her in anyway." He sighed. "It's not as bad as I made it sound but still, I just want her to have a better childhood then I did. Getting adopted was the best thing I could've done for her." He smiled then, brushing his hair out of his face. "Somehow, I don't see you as the type to beat someone up. I'm not underestimating you though. I'm sure you could beat me if you tried." He chuckled, realizing how bad that sound. "Ahh...I'm not too good with words it seems."

Alex instantly regretted asking him about what he meant. "I-I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to suddenly ask you something so personal. We barely know each other and you're telling me all these things." The flush on her cheeks contrasted against her pale skin. "I-I lost my parents recently too; so I kinda know what you're going through." She hazarded a glance at him and smiled a bit. "I was supposed to go away fro college; a dancing institute but my parents died and Xander, my twin, and I decided to stick around until our younger siblings could get settled here." She gave him a supportive smile; Alex was tempted to hold his hand but had a feeling she wasn't allowed. "I think you're doing pretty well... I wouldn't have been able to do what you did for Aithne. You should be proud of yourself." She laughed at his words, glad that it broke the awkwardness between them. "Naah, I don't think I'd ever find a true reason to warrant beating you up. You're too cute. I-I mean..." She trailed off, mentally hitting herself for the slip of the tongue.

Seth shook his head, smiling warmly. "No, its okay, no need to be sorry. It feels good to get that off my chest. I haven't really told anyone before, and they say it's easier to talk to a stranger about you problems." He reached out to gently brush his knuckles against her warm skin, mildly wondering if she even liked being touched. "I couldn't bear to be away from my sister, so I did what I felt I had to." He shrugged a bit and gave a soft laugh. "I'm happy I did what I did though. I got to meet a really great family who loves us as if we were born there. And I get to meet great friends too." He chuckled a bit, lowering his hand. "You think I'm too cute to be beaten up? I guess we're even then." He smirked. "I find you way too adorable to even imagine beating anyone up."

Alex was listening to him but as soon as he brushed his knuckles against her skin her brain died and he could hardly focus. "U-um... That's good that they take care of you; I mean... Family's supposed to do that. My parents died and my godmother adopted us but it's great because we have a bigger family and we all care about each other." She flushed at his compliment and mentally kicked herself for reacting so extremely to the guy's advances. It was obvious she liked him and vis a vis but she didn't know why she was stammering around him. It was strange. "I guess we're even then... Not too sure about me being adorable though... I kinda relate that word to being a grade-schooler.", she said with a teasing laugh.

"Yeah, we have a pretty big family as well." He smiled. Seth had to admit, he enjoyed flirting with her just because she blushed each time he said something. "It's good to have family to care for you...It's good to have other people who car for you too." He laughed softly. "You don't like being called adorable? Hmm...I guess we're gonna have to find another way to describe you then."
"Big brother~" Aithne called, running over to the pair.
"Yes Sunshine?" He asked, turning his attention to his younger sister.
"I'm hungry." She touched her tummy. "Can we go find someplace to eat?"
Seth thought for a moment, and then turned to Alex with a smile. "Care to show us to the best place to eat? I recall you saying something about the food here being yummy."
"Oh yay~ Come with us~" Aithne squealed, running over to grab Alex's hand. She smiled up at the older girl, her eyes wide with excitement.

Alex quirked a brow and grinned at him. "The challenge is open to you Azriel Seth." She smirked at him as Aithne made her way to them. She took the girl's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "Sure, I'd love to come with you guys. Mmm, what does Aithne feel like eating?" She knelt down and gave her a secret smile as she play-whispered. "You know, I know for a fact where you can get the best milkshakes in town... Not only that but you get free refills. Do you want to go there?"

Seth smirked. "I am more than happy to accept, Alexandra."
Aithne squealed happily. "Ohh milkshakes~ Can we go Big Brother?" Aithne turned her gaze to Seth, who chuckled lightly.
"Sure, we can go get some milkshakes. But you have to eat some real food before getting one. Deal?"
"Yay~" Aithne giggled. "I haven't had a milkshake in forever!"
Seth turned his smile to Alex. "Lead the way." He chuckled, sweeping his arm out in front of him.

She tapped her nose slyly and glanced at him. "Alexandra Nicole Burkeheart if you please." Alex waggled her eyebrows playfully at him as she gracefully stood, one hand still in Aithne's grasp. "Mmm, I think I shall. Come on Aithne, walk with me... Your big brother's too shy to walk beside me so you'll have to do." She grinned. "Do you like your ballet lessons so far? It took me a while to like them because my madame was a strict Russian who had a habit of yelling at me when I wasn't in form." She laughed softly as she remembered the crazy old lady who had made her a great ballerina.

Aithne giggled and turned to look at her brother. "Big Brother, you shouldn't be shy around a pretty lady. She's nice~" She turned back to look at Alex, missing the way Seth's hand went to his mouth to supress his laughter.
"Hmm, pretty? No...I think we need to find a better word." He said softly, trailing behind as the two girls talked.
"I liked them back when we lived in MABTown." Aithne answered. "We haven't had time to find any here yet. I kinda just practice by myself. Big Brother tries to help but, he isn't very good." She giggled softly.

Alex snorted in amusement and looked down at the girl, giving her a bright smile. "Mmm, thank you for the compliment Aithne. You're very pretty too." They were out of the park soon enough and headed for the entertainment district where Palmer's was located. "Oh so you don't have a teacher here yet? Well, until you find one, I wouldn't mind continuing your lessons for you. I can't be your full-time teacher however because I'm not very good at teaching kids and I go to school too.", she explained as she noticed the Palmer's sign near by. "But until you find one, I'll be around... What do you say about that?" They were right outside the diner and she opened the door so Aithne could go in first.
