"Stay close Aithne!" Seth called as the two entered the park. Aithne turned to smile at her older brother.
"Okay~" She giggled, turning back to run towards the playset.
Seth went to sit on a nearby bench, brushing his hair out of his face. It was weird, moving to a new town. He'd been in MABTown pretty much his whole life, so moving to Riverside was strange for him.
Of course, the second they moved into their new home, their mother kicked them all out of the house and told them to explore the new town. Aithne had immediately wanted to go the park.
"Big Brother! Lookit~!" Seth looked up to see Aithne hanging upside down on the monkey bars by her knees. Seth chuckled and held up a thumbs up. When Aithne jumped from the monkey bars to play on the slide, Seth ran his hand through his hair.
"So much for a day of settling in." He sighed.

Alex fiddled with her iPod as she made her way to the park. She could still hear the scruffy sounds of her black Converse on the ground even if her earbuds were in her ears. She paused just outside the park to run a hand through her long dark hair, giving up entirely on fixing it. It would always be a mess that ran down her back in curls and she just stopped minding so much. She looked down at what she was wearing, mentally approving the bright yellow silk top she was wearing over black skinny jeans. Alex had been one of the few who were thankful that the weather had started improving because she was tired of shrugging on jackets that impeded her movement especially when she was dancing. She continued to walk down the path of the park, enjoying the peace that the place could offer her. She was thankful that she lived near the park and the ocean because whenever her family began to annoy her, she could just escape. It wasn't that Alex disliked her family, on the contrary she loved them a lot. But they were so big that sometimes they couldn't help but be somewhat annoying. She kept changing songs until she landed on a familiar Linkin Park song that she had danced to at the studio recently. Her feet stopped moving and she closed her eyes as she slowly recalled the steps and let instinct and muscle memory guide her into the dance.

Seth had stopped watching Aithne for a moment, instead closing his eyes and leaning his head back to enjoy the feel of the sun on his face. So when he heard his sister's familiar voice squeal out, "Oh my gosh~ She's so pretty~", his eyes immediately snapped open and quickly scanned the park, looking for his younger sibling. He found her, standing off a little ways, watching with wide eyes a girl dancing, seemingly in her own world.
"Aithne!" He called, standing and jogging over to the young girl, who looked up at him, a wide grin on her face.
"Big brother! Lookit! Isn't she pretty~?"
"Aithne..." Seth sighed. "I told you to stay close."
"I know." Aithne pouted a bit, then grabbed onto Seth's shirt. "I'm sorry." She looked back over at the girl, her brown eyes full of longing, despite being on six years old. "I wish I could dance like that big brother."

Aithne!
The word sounded so foreign that Alex opened her eyes and searched for the owner of the voice. Her cheeks flushed when she realized that she had once again gone into dancing-mode in the middle of the park and two people she had never seen before were staring at her. I wish I could dance like her... She turned to the little girl and she found herself approaching her, smiling a bit at the longing in her big brown eyes. "You're such a cute little girl." She knelt and offered her hand to the little girl. "My name's Alexandra but you can call me Alex... What's your name? Do you dance?" She recalled her childhood, full of laughter and full of dancing and for some reason, when she saw little kids who had the potential to dance, she wanted to help them somehow.
Only then did she realize that she had totally ignored the little girl's older brother and she looked up, a fierce blush on her usually pale face. "Oh, I'm sorry... I must sound like such a crazy person suddenly walking up to you guys like this." She laughed softly and offered him a peace sign.

"Hi~!" Aithne giggled, her pout immediately turning into a big smile. "My name is Aithne." Her brow furrowed. "I don't really have a nickname though. Big brother calls me Sunshine sometimes. I do dance~" Aithne twirled around, giggling. "I take ballet lessons. Cept, I'm not very good. Big brother says with a little practice I will be the bestest~"
Seth smiled as he watched the two girls interact. When Alex spoke to him, he offered a soft smile and shook his head. "No, it's quiet alright. Besides, it was us who disturbed you. I'm Azriel, but I go by my middle name, Seth."

Alex smiled at the little girl. "Sunshine seems like a pretty suitable nickname for you." She stood up slowly and beckoned to the little girl. "C'mere, show me what you've learned in ballet so far.", she paused and took a few steps away from them to give them space as she took position. "I started dancing when I took ballet lessons, probably a bit younger than you were though." She started in first position. "Do you still remember?"
She turned to Seth, with the same tiny smile on her face as she spoke his name softly. "Azriel... It sounds pretty." Alex laughed softly at that. "You don't mind if I borrow your sister for a bit do you?"

Aithne beamed at Alex, eagerly following the older girl. She quickly got into first postition, followed by second and third. But when she got to fourth, she found she had a hard time getting her feet in the right position. She frowned a bit. "I can't do it." She said, lowering her head.
"Pretty? First time I heard that one." He chuckled. "I suppose it is pretty. No. I don't mind at all. It's good she has someone to help her. She hasn't really gotten a chance to practice since we moved."

Alex grinned as she followed the girl go through second and third and when she reached 4th position, Aithne had stopped. She broke form and carefully guided Aithne's feet to an open fourth position which she found a lot easier than the closed one. "This is an open fourth position, I think it's much easier than the normal one because you don't have to align the heel and toe. I used to do this a lot more than the closed one because I couldn't get it right either..." She smiled encouragingly at the little girl. "Just practice the fourth a lot and you'll get it. Soon you can do it with your eyes closed. Maybe the next time you want to practice, we can go to the studio together."
She smirked at Aithne's older brother and shrugged in a helpless fashion. "It is; it's a lot prettier than Alexandra. I don't have anyone to dance with either so I'm glad I met this little girl; she's pretty good too." She grinned. "Are you guys new here?"

Aithne nodded, her blonde curls bobbing around her shoulders as she did so. "Okie~" She looked down at her feet, going back to first position. Her expression turned to one of concentration as she went through the first four postitions over and over.
"Perhaps we should trade names?" Seth teased, smiling. "I appreciate it. She is very good, better than she gives herself credit for." He looked over at his sister, and then back at Alex. "We are. We lived in MABTown for a while, and just moved here recently."

Alex grinned; she didn't know these two for very long but she already liked Aithne. The girl had spunk and she had a feeling that she'd go far in dancing. She watched her do the four positions and smiled. "Good job; that's really good." She scrunched up her nose and gave Seth a quirky smile. "Naah, I don't think I sound like an Azriel; it suits you a lot better than it would me." She put her hand on her hip and met his gaze, definitely liking the two of them. Seth was cute and it had been quite a while since she had spoken to anyone interesting of the opposite sex. "My godmother and her kids used to live there too. How do you like Riverside?"

Aithne smiled at the compliment before going back to concentrating on her steps. Seth smiled a bit. "Perhaps. I don't think Alexandra would fit me either." He laughed softly. "Hmm, I'm not quite sure yet. The park is the only place I've been so far. I'd have to tour around a bit more before making a final judgement. Of course," he added, "If all the residents are as nice as you, I'm sure I will ike it just fine."

Alex giggled at the seriousness that the child seemed to exude when it came to practicing. It was downright adorable. She laughed at Seth's comment and nodded. "No definitely not; maybe an Alexander? My twin brother's name is actually Alexandre." She shook her head in amusement. "You should definitely tour the place sometime; it's a bit small but the people are interesting and the food's great." Alex blushed at his compliment but played it cool. She quirked a brow and grinned at him a bit cheekily. "Well I dunno if everyone is as nice as you say I am but that should be an interesting sight to see; I chase people around with baseball bats you know." Well... She didn't really; it was Apollo Anderson's fault because he switched her shampoo with honey.

"Maybe." Seth smiled when she blushed. He wasn't the flirty type but, he tended to have his moments. Although most of the time, it was just him being his own sweet self. He liked this girl though, she was sweet, and most importantly Aithne liked her. "Maybe I'll tour it, if I had a tour guide with me." He chuckled at her next comment. "Baseball bats? Why on earth would you chase someone with a baseball bat?"

She grinned cheekily at him. "Well, I'd love to tour you around the quaint town known as Riverside but I don't think I'd be very good at it. I've only gone to the park, the studio and some food places... Aside from the university and highschool anyway." Alex waggled her eyebrows at him. "He provoked me. That's pretty much all I can say." She laughed, thinking about it now. She had been so pissed at Pol that she grabbed the first dangerous looking object she had seen and it had been Sasha's baseball bat.

"Maybe we could get to know the town together?" Seth suggested. "It's still a lot more than I've been too." He rose an eyebrow. "Well, let me make sure I don't do anything to make you angry. Don't want you coming after me with a bat." Seth found it hard to imagine her going after anybody with anything, but he still had to chuckle at the idea.
