Lindsey smiled back just as wide as before. "Thanks." she nodded, with a small giggle escaping her lips after. Then laughing a little louder at Enzo's expression towards his boss afterwards. "Sure. We can get something to eat now." she told him, bits of giggles still escaping every now and then before finally fading away when they walked away from the boss and towards the food court.

Enzo waved goodbye to his boss, staying next to Lindsey as they went to the food court. "What kind of food do you have in mind?" He asked her, just trying to get an idea of what kind of food to expect.

As they were nearing the food courts, Lindsey simply shrugged her shoulders at his question. "Um, I don't know. Anything sounds good to me, really." she told him honestly, looking around at the many food court stands surrounding them now, before giving eye contact back to Enzo again. "I'm sure whatever you pick will be fine with me."

Enzo looked around, trying to figure out what she might like based on what always seemed popular among his coworkers. "How about Mexican food?" He asked her, pointing over to the vendor.

Lindsey looked over to where he pointed at, licking her lips as she could already taste it. "Ohh, that sounds good." she admitted, already heading over there, glancing over her shoulder to make sure Enzo was following. "I could go for a good Mexican burrito right about now, anyway." she giggled.

Enzo smiled, trying to decide what he wanted to eat. "A burrito sounds good," He agreed. He noticed the conversation becoming awkward, he asked her, "Do you mind... if I ask how old you are?" He asked her as politely as possible.

Lindsey was busy looking at the menu when she overheard Enzo's question towards her again. "Oh. I'm twenty." she said simply, but with a light smile to him. "Why do you ask? Or are you just curious?" she asked him back, just to tease him a bit more with a light giggle coming out of her then.

Enzo smiled sheepishly, bringing a hand behind his head and running it through his hair, "Just curious... I'm uh. I'm 23." He told her, losing all confidence.

Lindsey nodded with her grin still kept widely on her face. "That's cool. So I guess that means your a college graduate? Or am I off by a year or two?" she asked him curiously, as it was her turn for a question to be answered.

Enzo couldn't help but let out a small, embarrassed laugh. This is it... He thought, knowing if he told her, she would want to know why he did it, then he have to tell her, and then he'd be back in the vicious circle he had run away from in Paris. "I.. actually quit college after a year..." He told her, trying to quickly think of a "normal" reason as to why he would've quit.

"Quit? Why would you do that?" she asked curiously, her head tilting slightly to the side as she asked. "Not what you were hoping for...or, money issues or something?" she asked again, not trying to fill his mind up with questions, she just couldn't understand why a good-looking young guy with a job would just quit college for no particular reason. While she waiting for answer then, she realized that they were still standing in front of the Mexican place, with the cashier seeming to be standing there waiting for them to place an order. She held up a finger to Enzo, telling him to hold his answer real quick so she could order her food, then, after paying the man and grabbing her receipt, she went back to Enzo, letting him continue with what he was going to say.

Enzo ordered his food, trying to come up with a story in his mind, but also feeling like he didn't want to lie to this beautiful, seemingly friendly girl. "Uh... money issues." He finally replied simply, wondering if he'd kick himself later for telling even half the truth.

Lindsey looked at him for half a moment, wondering if that really was the truth. Then again, the look in his eyes told her that money was a problem. Therefore, he had to be telling her the truth. Even if it was just half of it. "Ah~I see." she replied back to him. "Money's been a real problem with a lot of the people here really. I know it is for me." she sighed, looking at the number on her receipt again, waiting patiently for her order to be ready.

Enzo nodded, glad she didn't pry any more. "Yeah, it's been hard everywhere in the world, it seems." He told her simply, checking his number before putting his hands into his pockets.

Lindsey nodded simply, heading over to the pick up window then, for her order was called next, followed by Enzo's. "So..where do you wanna sit?" she asked him, trying to keep up some sort of conversation going without it having to go totally awkward for them.
