Enzo picked up his food and looked around the food court. Spotting an empty table he pointed his tray in the direction, "How about there?" He suggested.

Lindsey nodded, letting him lead her over to the table he pointed over to. Taking a seat at the empty table, Lindsey flipped her hair over her shoulder before unwrapping her burrito, and taking a small bite out of it. After swallowing, since it was still quiet, she figured she'd continue their conversation for a while longer. "So...how long have you worked here for?"

"Um," Enzo muttered, swallowing the piece of burrito he had just shoved into his mouth. "I actually moved here from Paris with my family about a month ago." He told her, happy he could finally start telling the truth through simple phrases like that.

Lindsey's eyes widened slightly at the mention of Paris. "Paris? Really?" she questioned, wiping her mouth off with a napkin before continuing. "Wow, your lucky. I've always wanted to go to Paris. Probably mostly to see the Eiffel Tower, but hey, I'd be a tourist." she giggled, taking another bite of her burrito.

Enzo smiled, "Really?" He grinned, slightly seductive, completely rusty, "I could give you the native's tour." He told her, trying to stop himself from wincing at how lame it sounded.

Lindsey was taking another bite of her burrito when she heard his answer, causing her to laugh, nearly choking on her burrito from the way he said it. After recovering, she nodded her head in response. "Hm...I'd like that very much, actually." she played along with him in a tease, adding in a small wink, before giggling a bit more, and taking a sip of her drink next.

Enzo laughed as she did and buried his face in his hands, "I'm serious about giving you a tour though..." He muttered. He took a bite of his burrito, still hiding behind his hands.

Lindsey kept her grin on her face, just as wide as before. "I know. And I really would love it if you would, too." she answered him back, sipping on her drink before raising her eyebrows with a slight chuckle as she noticed he kept trying to hide his face. "What, are you shy or something? Why do you keep hiding your cute little face from me?" she asked, a bit flirtatiously, but with confidence in her eyes like usual still.

Enzo brought his hands down, traces of blush apparent on his cheeks. "I... I just haven't had the chance to be very social lately... Working a lot and all that..." He told her, looking away, slightly embarrassed and mostly shy as he admitted the fact. "My family's here in a new country, and all I've done is work, it seems."

"Really?" Lindsey asked, tilting her head slightly. "'Cause, well, I thought having a job like this would boost up some confidence and social skills." she said, taking another bite of her burrito, swallowing before continuing. "Nothing but work though? That can't be fun."

Enzo bit his lip, "Well, I've been working full time." He told her, letting out a sigh as he just gave up dancing around the truth. "I have to... My siblings and I lost our parents in an accident a couple years ago. I'm the sole provider of my six siblings." He told her, looking intently at his food, waiting for the pity to start.

Lindsey's mouth nearly dropped open when she finally heard the truth spill out of Enzo's own mouth. "Ohmygosh..." she lightly gasped, "I'm so sorry." she bit her lip lightly then, part of her own past life getting triggered on somehow. "I mean, I do know what its like..I think I do anyway. Me and my sister...we lost our parents in...an accident of some sort too." she knew her dad was in an accident, but she wasn't quite sure what to make of her mom's loss. "That's good that you're taking care of your siblings though. I would of done the same for my little sister, but..I wasn't even considered an adult yet, and wasn't capable of living on my own, let alone taking care of my sister as well." she sighed, taking a short sip of her soda, staring at the butt of her burrito for a short moment before looking back up at Enzo again with a crooked smile. "We were sent to separate orphanages, and didn't find each other again until this past week when we, literally, ran into each other at the park."

Enzo looked up at her, eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Here he was expecting more pity and that he was going to have to distance himself from his (pretty) new friend, just to find out she knows exactly what his family went through. He gave her a weak smile, "I guess... I lucked out then. I was twenty when my parents died... The actual reason I dropped out of college as because I knew if I couldn't provide for them, my siblings would become wardens of the court. I began working full time and was able to prove I could care for my siblings. It was a tough fight though. At least... your story can end happy, and you got to see your sister again." He told her finally, letting a bigger smile appear on his face.

Lindsey listend to Enzo more intently this time, making sure she got what he was saying, even though his English was already sounding more and more clearer the longer she was with him throughout the day. "Yeah," she stared back down at her half-finished burrito, "I'm sorry about that." she sighed, not like she didn't have anything to be sorry for, it was just how she was feeling for him. "I mean, you are right." she tilted her head back up to face him again, "I do get to see my sister again..but..." she bit her lip, looking down then back up, "it doesn't mean we get to live together again like old times. I still barely have enough money to pay for my rent. I don't even have a car, because of financial issues." she sighed, "My sister still has a place to live here with her own adoptive family. And even if its not the same living together like before...I still am grateful to have visits from her every now and then. Just so I know she's okay."

"You said you two just found each other again, right?" Enzo asked her, holding the final bits of his burrito loosely in one hand. "It will probably take time." He smiled at her reassuringly, "and the boss at Bloomingdale's likes me, so I can put a little sway over your application to make sure you get the job." He told her, adding in, "It's enough to pay the rent to a two bedroom house, I'm sure you can get the rent for an apartment."
