Lindsey returned to her own platform next to Enzo's, and quickly looked through all the songs they had to play. "Which song sounds good to you?"

Enzo just brought the cursor down to an upbeat song with a medium BPM count, "How about this one?" He asked, knowing too slow or too fast would be too difficult for him.

"Looks good to me." Lindsey grinned with a quick nod, readying herself on her platform and waiting for the first couple arrows to roll onto the screen. She started out perfect, slightly missing a couple here and there, but overall she was hitting every move the song threw at her.

Enzo was a little less than coordinated, immediately missing the first few arrows, but then recovering enough to keep himself in the yellow for most of it. After the song ended, he just laughed, a mixture of embarrassment and humor, "I told you I suck."

Lindsey glanced over a couple times to see how Enzo was doing, only to realizing that he was doing just as poorly as he was in the last game they played. Once the song was over, and Lindsey finished off her last dance move, she gazed over to Enzo with a smile and small giggle. "You still did pretty good to me." she grinned, leaning on the bar that was built on the platform. "You wanna try again? Or would you rather just head out and pay for my dinner now?" she asked, laughing softly at the last part she added in.

Enzo laughed, glad she realized he wasn't trying to let her win. "I think I can admit defeat and just pay for the dinner now." His stomach grumbled, though it was inaudible in the loud arcade. He brought a hand to his stomach, smiling playfully. "Beside, all this losing made me hungry." He said to her jokingly.

Lindsey laughed along with him in the joking. "Sure, sure. No problem." she simply said, while nonchalantly grabbing his hand again, leading him out of the arcade and back in the less crowded mall. "So...you wanna eat here, or go to a restaurant to sit and eat?"

"I think a restaurant would be nice. Ah ~ Je vous ratez la cuisine française... (Ah~ I miss French food...)" He whined suddenly, not even fully realizing he slipped into his home language until a few second after. He laughed, once again feeling nervous, "I guess my grasp of English isn't as awesome as I thought if I just think out loud in French..." He attempted to joke.

Lindsey giggled softly, a bit louder when he added in his home language. "The only thing I got out of that, was 'food' and 'french'." she laughed. "I guess I'm getting a little rusty from high school. I only took French I, after all." she shrugged.

Enzo smiled, "I'm surprised you've learned any at all. I didn't know many people took French in America..." He said apprehensively, not wanting to come off as ignorant. He was about to say something against it when he got a phone call. "Excuse me," He told Lindsey before answering. "Hello?" "frère aîné, je suis dans un combat et je suis au poste de police. Viens me chercher. (Older brother, I got in a fight and I'm at the police station. Come get me.)" Came Ame's voice from the other line. "vous êtes quoi (You're what)? You are dead to me Ame, dead." Enzo growled into the phone, glancing at Lindsey every so often. "vient me chercher, bon sang. (Just come get me, damn it.)" Ame retorted back annoyance clear in his voice. He hung up without letting Enzo say anything else.
Enzo returned his attention to Lindsey. "I'm sorry... My younger brother seems to have gotten in the some trouble... I need to go..." He told her, seemingly sincerely apologetic.

Lindsey giggled lightly, about to respond back as well, when Enzo's phone interrupted them with a call. She nodded to him, allowing him to answer the call. Every so often then, Enzo would glance over to Lindsey, who's eyebrows were furrowed with both curiosity and worry. When he finally hung up then, she was about to ask what was wrong when Enzo beat her to it. "Trouble? Is everything alright?" she couldn't help but ask first-handedly. "I can give you a ride if you want. Just tell me where to go."

"I don't think that's a good idea..." Enzo replied simply. "I'm sorry... I'll have to treat you to that dinner at another time..." He added, still apologetic. He wrote down his cell phone number on a piece of paper, "Just... give me a call when you're free." He said, not quite wanting to leave just yet.

"Wha--" she was about to protest against him but stopped when he wrote down his number for her. She grabbed it when it was handed to her, slipping it in her front jeans pocket and continued with her protesting. "What do you mean its not a good idea, though? I mean, it can't be that bad, can it? Come on," she started pulling him further towards her car, in a gentle force kind of way.

Although Enzo was still protesting, he let her lead him to her car. "It's just... my brother can be a bit... much." He replied simply, finally giving up physically and letting himself into the passenger side of the car. "He's at the police station..." He replied simply, his voice sounding like total defeat.

"It's fine. I just wanna help, really." she added in, starting up the car already and headed out toward the direction she was told to go. "So..police station, huh? Would it be too much to ask how old he is?" she asked more out of curiosity than anything.
