There's always a first.

Sora walked into Mud and Grinds with his hands in his pockets. He got in the line and glanced around. When he got to the counter he ordered a mint hot chocolate and a fudge brownie. He waited for his order then took it and headed over to one of the booths. He took a seat and sipped at his hot chocolate starting to unwrap his brownie as he looks around yet again.

[Alisha]

Sarah glided into the local coffee shop, bouncing with energy. Her family always joked with about the fact that she didn't really need the coffee at all. She looked at her feet with a smile on her face at the memory. While in line, her phone began to ring. She answered, and began to speak a mile a minute to the person other the other end, "I don't care if you don't care, Em. You are not wearing that monstrosity during your play. No." She argued with her sister, lowering her phone to place her order. "Can I get a Mocha latte with a double shot," She asked the barrista, handing over her money with a smile and taking her drink. She surveyed the shop, looking for a place to sit. Sarah listed to the chattering of her sister, and almost ran into the table a boy was sitting at. Almost dropping her coffee, she exclaimed, "Oh, shoot I'm so sorry!" She looked down at the boy apologetically.

Sora looks down and takes a bite of his brownie and is about to put it back down when a girl nearly runs into the table, some of her drink sloshes out onto his arm. He grimaces and then looks up at her and smiles wiping it off with a napkin. "And they say useing a cell phone while you're driving is dangerous." He chuckles "Don't worry, it's no problem." He holds his hand out to her "I'm Sora."

[Alisha]

Sarah laughs at the blonde boy's pun and rolls her eyes half-heartedly. "Yeah, but I can be a bit of a spaz." She comments, "I can make anything a little dangerous." She sets her drink down to place her hand in his, shaking it gently. "I'm Sarah," She replies with a small smile, "Nice to meet you." She sits in the seat across from him, after glancing around to find that the shop is packed. "Do you mind?"

Sora smiles shaking his head "No, go ahead. This place is packed. I didn't really expect it to be so full." He takes a drink of his hot chocolate "So, how old are you? If you don't mind me asking." He pause for a moment and then adds "I'm sixteen. I'm a Sophmore over at Riverside High School." He breaks off a piece of his brownie and tosses it in his mouth before taking another drink.

[Alisha]

Sarah takes a pull from her coffee, savoring the chocolate flavor. "I know," she replied, "I've never seen it this full before. Which is saying something, because I come here every day." Sarah gasped as she realized she had forgetter about her sister, and picked up her phone to see if she was still on the line. She wasn't. Sarah frowned and texted Emma her apology. She glanced back up at Sora, and smiled "I just turned seventeen last month. I'm a junior there. My twin brother is quarterback on the football team." She watched as he picked at his brownie, "Choclate junkie?" she asked jokingly. Sarah's phone buzzed on the table next to her, Emma had replied: Is he cute? She shook her head at her sisters question and glanced back up at Sora.
Very. She typed back.

Sora nods "That's cool. It's actually my first time here." He smiles and watches her play with her phone. "He might know some of my sisters, they're cheerleaders." He laughs "Not really. Chocolate is good but I wouldn't say I'm a junkie. You did say you come here every day though, right? So does that mean you're a coffee junkie?" he asked with a friendly smirk.

[Alisha]

Sarah listened as the boy spoke, and strangely enough, she felt as if she could sit still and listen to it for hours which would normally be no small feat for her. "My brother can be a bit of a loner sometimes. He spends a lot of time at the gym." She shook her head and laughed melodically. "But he could." A small blush tinted Sarah's cheeks at the mention of her coffee 'addiction' and she looked down at her drink. "I guess you could say that," She replied with her blue eyes focused on him. "It's more of a habit these days than anything else. My family jokes that I have enough energy as it is." She giggled quietly. "Personally, I think they're just jealous that I'm a morning person."

Sora laughs and shrugs "Who knows, maybe they are." He smiles enjoying just sitting and talking with her. "Actually I'm one of the few morning people in my family too. Most of them are night owls." He drinks some more of his hot chocolate and runs a hand through his hair. "So what do you do for fun? Other than text and hang out at the coffee shop?" He jokes with her.

[Alisha]

Sarah laughed along with him. "I know exactly what you mean!" She said, "I swear they'll never understand unless they actually sleep at night like normal human beings." After taking another drink of her coffee, she smiled. "I enjoy fashion, doing makeup, things like that." She began, "I know it sounds shallow and typical, but I like the satisfaction I get from makinging feel good about themselves." Sarah slowly turned her iced coffee around on the small table, collecting the condensation on her finger. "I actually give homeless people haircuts at te shelter, it helps them feel more confident and have a greater chance at getting a job." She finished, glancing back up at Sora's face. "What about you, what do you enjoy?"

Sora smiles "Well that's pretty cool." He watches her wipe the condensation off her cup. "No way. That is awesome." He grins at her. "Man, I wish I did stuff like that. Me? I model, go to the gym, play laser tag, that type of thing. Mostly just things I'm good at, in fact I usually try to avoid things I'm not very good at." He laughs lightly.

[Alisha]

Sarah's leg bounced nervously under the table, how could she feel so nervous and at peace at the same time? It was so contradicting. "You model? That's awesome. What's it like?" You definitely have the looks for it. She laughed at his admission. "Yeah, I would guess most people are like that. I mean, who would want to do something they suck at." She said, "I would never have the courage to get up on stage and sing, simpy because of fear of failure. I don't know how my sister manages to act." Sarah pushed her coffee away, no longer wanting to drink it. "Is laser tag fun?" She asked, "I've never been."

Sora grinned "Yeah" he shruged "It's pretty fun usually." He leaned back looking at her. He scoffs "I can't sing for the life of me. And I don't think that acting is really my forte either." He smiles "You've never played laser tag before? It is super fun, we'll have to go sometime so you can see what it's like for yourself." He sees her push her coffee away and realizes that he has forgotten about his own drink but continues to ignor it, focusing on Sarah now.

[Alisha]

Sarah leaned on the table, her arms folded loosly in front of her. She giggled at his statement, once again surprising herself. She didn't giggle. "Well, you'll never know unless you try." She said quietly, looking at him shyly through her lashes, a small smile on her face. "That's sounds like it could be fun." She replied, mostly thinking about how it would grant her more time with this boy who made her giggle and blush. She wast used to feeling this way, and it scared her a little. She pushed the thought away, and looked down at her arms. "What is your favorite color?" She asked, curious to learn all about him, even the little things.

Sora grinned listening to her giggle and watching her lean forward. He rested his arms against the table "I'd have to say green, but blue is a close second. What about you?" He smiled at her thinking to himself 'and your eyes deffinatly help the blue be a close second.' He looks down hoping she doesn't see him blushing.
