Ethan looked around as he walked into the Coffee Shop nodding in approval. He smiled as he walked over and got into the short line. He continued to examine the place as he waited for the people in front of him to order. 'Not too bad, I might start coming here more often if they have good coffee' He glanced at the counter to see the last person ahead of him picking up their cup and bag. He steped up and ordered his usual, nearly black with hazelnut and extra sugar. He reach into his pocket and fished out his cash as he waited for his order to be filled.

Karla entered the coffee shop, a monster energy drink in hand and her messenger bag hanging on one shoulder, she headed towards her usual spot in the corner of the shop. Her table was empty like always; it was like the workers at the coffee shop knew when to get her table ready for her. She laughed at the thought, and how much it pleased her. Once she was settled at her table, Karla pulled out a book from her bag and opened it to a page she had dog-eared. She took a sip of her energy as she began reading her book. Since she wasn’t much of a coffee person, Karla usually visited the coffee shop because it was a relaxing place and she could read without being interrupted.

They finally handed him his drink and he laid the money on the counter. He turned around and started to head towards the corner seat he had seen as he entered but stopped when he saw someone else already sitting there. He sighed, not enjoying the idea of having to sit with people behind him, having had a habit of sitting with his back to a wall since he was little. He wasn't sure why he had a problem with people being behind him but it paranoid him. He saw that the seat next to it was empty and walked towards it. He sat sideways leaning agaist the wall and felt a little better. He took a sip of his coffee and looked at the girl sitting in the cornor. He saw her energy drink and book and realized that she wasn't even really a customer. He wondered why she chose the coffee shop to sit and read. 'At least it was a cute girl that stole my seat and not some weird guy.' he chuckled softly at the thought, smiling as he drank his coffee.
