Stephanie nodded. "My sisters do the same thing, where they buy a series instead just one book.ven if they don't like it, they'll eventually pick it up and read through the whole thing. I'm not much for a series because sometimes the books end in cliff hangers until you get to the end, then you're wanting to pick up another book for that series and there isn't any more." Stephanie chuckled. She nodded. "Yeah I'm ready, it's fine I was going to drink the rest of it on the walk home, then start on my water. I don't have much of my coffee left any way." She took another few sips when Kendal got up to get her order, almost finished when she came back. She smiled and nodded. "Finished. Let's go if you're ready." She took one final sip, then looked around for a garbage can, thankfully with one b the door.
((i just smelt coffee o.o for only like a second xD))

"Sometimes its good for the book to end on a cliff hanger that way you can imagine the many ways the next book if and when it comes out is going to start. Well its something I do anyway not sure if anyone else does it. But the book I lent you is a series book and there's around 7 or maybe 8 to that series a new one comes out about once a year sometimes twice" Kendal said, standing back up and getting her empty coffee cup and taking it with her to put in the bin on the way out. "So the bookstores this way" Kendal said it was a little simliar walk from the way they had got here if she remembered rightly she just hoped she didd and wouldn't get them lost as she promised she wouldn't.

Stephanie nodded, understanding how that might work out for some people. "For me, I just don't like to think of a story line, and then have it go the complete opposite direction. I've done that with one or two series and it got me mad." She laughed, remembering over one summer break when her cousin got her hooked onto a series and on the last book she was so sure how it was going to turn out from what she created in her mind, that when it turned out to be completely different, she was completely thrown off. Stephanie got up and threw her drink out, taking a small sip of water. She wasn't going to put it in the small pack she had because she didn't want to get the book wet at all, so she just carried it as she followed Kendal out of the coffee shop.

"Yeah I guess that's a good way to look at it. But I guess I don't mind if the writer goes in a completely different direction just goes to show there are many different possibilities to be had" Kendal smiled carrying the box she wished she'd asked for a small paper bag now so she could fit it in her pocket and wouldn't have to carry it so awkwardly. Taking the next right along the street they were walking down kendal noticed a few signs and knew she was on the right way to the bookstore and wouldn't get them lost at all.

Stephanie thought for a moment, then thought. "True, didn't think of it that way. And i have seen people take their own ideas and post them on places like Blogger and DeviantArt on how they think the story would've gone." She smiled, remembering that was why she had signed up for both, was for the alternate stories. Stephanie turned down the street with Kendal and looked around. "Oh! I know where we are. There's a small music store down here that Diana and I look at all the time. It has a bunch of small, unknown band's albums, and then a few bigger bands too." She looked around, trying to remember where the store was now since it looked like they were going backwards from the way she and her sister usually went.
