Stephanie walked to the coffee shop with Kendal, a smile on her face for once. She wasn't used to being around other people without Savana since this meant she had to do the talking and she wasn't very good at jokes unless it was a retaliation from Savana's comments. But she convinced herself that they weren't in middle school any more and she could tame care of her self and make her own friends. When they found the coffee shop, Stephanie opened the door. "This is it. It's like Starbucks but without all the brown for interior fashion." She smiled lightly. She loved Starbucks Coffee but the building's inside brown decor wasn't her favorite for a coffee place. She licked her lips, trying to decide on what she wanted in her head, since she already knew the menu from visiting here so much. She hadn't thought about it much on the way here and it just dawned on her she should probably have at least an idea of what she wanted.

Stuffing her hands deep into her pockets she followed Stephanie inside the coffee shop she'd taken her to. ''I'm not really a fan of Starbucks anyway. I find their coffee to be a bit rich'' she said. It was try she would chose any other coffee shop over Starbucks. Looking up at the menu Kendal couldn't decide what coffee she wanted let alone what treat she would get. muffin or cookie she thought to herself. Maybe she would get both and save one for tomorrow or later on her walk home. It had been a while since she'd pigged out and after the walk from the lake to the coffee shop she felt like she deserved it. ''So what coffee would you recommend I just can't make my mind up'' kendal asked her eyes still fixed on the menu.

Stephanie tapped the fuzz on her hood. "Well I'm stuck between and Latte and a Caramel Frappe. It's like a Cappuccino only cold." She smiled at Kendal. Some people didn't know what a Frappe was, others didn't understand the difference so she explained anyways. Bitting her lip she sighed. "I might as well get the Caramel Frappe. You think you'd want one of them?" She suggested, also picking up a muffin for herself. From the walk all over town with Sav, she figured it'd be nothing to have this one muffin.

"Yep that sounds good. Never had a frappe before so I guess it will be a new experience but I like iced coffee so I guess I should like this as well'' Kendall smiled picking up a double chocolate chip cookie and blueberry muffin. Once they sit she would deciede which she would eat now and which she would save for later. Pulling her money out of her pocket she walked up to the counter and order their drinks paying for them as well as the two muffins and cookie she had in her hand. Taking her coffee once made she went to sit on the table nearest to where they where stood since she had loads in her hands taking a small sip of her drink. "Mmmm its actually quiet refreshing"

Stephanie nodded and smiled at her, about to take out her own money to pay for the drink and her own muffin when she heard Kendal paying for her. She was surprised and very confused, but followed her to the table. She had moved so fast she hadn't even had time to think about offering help. "I could've payed, or at least helped pick up things!" She laughed, sitting down and taking her drink and muffin, standing up again to get napkins and straws for both of them. She sat back down and passed Kendal her things with a smile. "Thanks though. I would've offered but 'm not completely 'with it' today." She said, running a hand through her hair and putting her hood back up.

"It's alright I just didn't think to ask if you wanted to pay for your own things. I'm just that used to going places with my siblings and them asking me to pay. Was more like force of habit really sorry" Kendal smiled. she really did have to try and break the habit of paying for everything for everyone someone was bound to take offense sooner or later. Thanking Stephanie for the straw kendal put it in her drink fixing the lid back on so it would be easier to drink the lovely coffee infront of her. "I've had to carry way more plates and stuff when my family was much bigger than it is now and where we're over in England visiting gran" Kendal said a smile spreading across her face as she thought about her gran and the rest of the family that was over there. She really did miss them sometimes.

Stephanie smiled, shrugging. "It's fine. I'll pay next time though so that we're even. Savana and I usually take turns, though sometimes it skips around. I already have a bet going with my cousin that even though next time if her turn, she'll ask me to pay." She chuckled softly. She liked hanging out with Kendal. It was easy to talk to her. They both seemed laid back and it calmed Stephanie to know that she wasn't the only person who didn't talk much, but wasn't anti-social. She knew that there was probably more people out there, but none that she had met so far. She sipped her coffee, sighing at the good taste. She smiled when Kendal described her family over in England, nodding slightly. "Italy was fun when I lived there with my Aunt. A lot more fun when Sav and I were together, but over here, I have the reverse of you. I gained what seems to be a hundred siblings." She laughed. It wasn't 100, but it was definitely more than 20. Her mom loved adopting kids, and the kids she adopted loved getting new siblings. "Mom adopts a lot." She had even heard a rumor that they might be getting a new family member.

"Okay, you can pay next time then" kendal smiled, at least she wasn't offended by her paying and was happy to pay the next time they hung out together so that was good. "Oh no my mum used to have loads of kids she just loved adopted but some of my siblings wanted to live over in England for a while. You met Lucas he hasn't been back from England that long which is why his accent is more stronger than mine. He came back for the summer but I'm sure if him and savanna hit it off he won't want to go back to our nan. Which I'm sure my mum would be happy about she just loves it when family comes over from england" Kendal grinned. "But I guess its good for Lucas to get out and have fun he's been gloomy the past few months and I guess England and meeting Savanna has helped him out of his shell I haven't seen him this happy since before we moved here" Kendal didn't know if she should say the reason why he was so gloomy and why he went to live in england. But she guessed she would find out if he felt like opening up to Savanna where they were now. "Oh wow what's Italy like. I've always wanted to go there" kendal said she really did want to travel the world one day if she knew she would have enough money and wouldn't have to live off next to nothing.

Stephanie was glad that she didn't have to put up an argument like she did for some people for paying. She hated it when people got so stubborn over paying for themselves. She listened as she heard Kendal talk, nodding slightly. She didn't think she had any family living somewhere else, besides family ties- but those lived on just the other side of the States. She grinned as the girl in front of her mentioned their siblings hitting it off. "Good, so I wasn't he only one who noticed their odd exchanges. She's a flirt sometimes, but normally it's just to be funny. And this time she actually seemed shy." Savana was almost never shy, making it very odd for behavior. Stephanie nodded again, glad that at least Savana was helping somehow and not getting herself into trouble. Stephanie chuckled softly when Kendal asked what Italy was like and she shrugged. "To travelers, amazing. To me, though, it was boring. After I had found all the hot spots to run to and visit them everyday, everything got boring. When I was with Savana, we would look all around Italy, visiting Rome once or twice, the Leaning Tower- we did a lot. But I was not happy when we moved here, just for the sake that it was America. I had...opinions about it. But Sav, being a stubborn git, straightened me out and had someone help me with my English, which diminished my accent by a lot. Which now, I'm glad for. people used to not understand what I was saying." She laughed slightly, shrugging a bit.

"Yep I haven't seen Lucas like this since his last girlfriend" kendal said not pushing the subject she really didn't want to say that his last girlfriend had died in the natural disaster that had happened in the last town they lived in while they where in England over Christmas it wasn't her place and she didn't want Stephanie telling savanna for fear that maybe Lucas hadn't told her. That would create problems and lucas would be pissed at her for talking about him. So she just thought by saying his last girlfriend she wouldn't ask why they weren't together and even if she did she wouldn't know what she would say on the matter. "Well your English is pretty good how long have you been learning?" Kendal asked, she guessed it was hard to learn english since some people said it was the hardesr language to learn. But even in stephanie hadn't said english wasn't her first language she wouldn't have guessed.

Stephanie nodded, noticing when Kendal just let it go. She guessed something really bad must have happened between them, but she wasn't going to tell Savana. Even though Savana wouldn't say anything to Lucas, Savana had never had a real boyfriend and felt uncomfortable that she was inexperienced. She'd had her first kiss, but nothing like the L-word. Stephanie smirked softly when the subject was changed, shrugged. "Savana spoke English when we met when we were 8, but I still hung onto Italian. When we moved here, she sent me to one of her best friend's ....friend I guess, and I learned from him." She smiled softly to herself, remembering their old friends, back when they had all become a group. "But lessons stopped when we had to move." Her smile faded a bit. She hadn't been in touch with any of them since they had left, and she doubted Savana had either.

"Well he must have taught you good as I think your english is pretty perfect. I can understand what your saying and you don't put random words in sentences that shouldn't be there. Like I've heard people who's second language is english do before. Loads of people I've met before put okay at the end of everything" Kendal giggled not that she was making fun out of the people she just found it funny how everything seemed to be a question to them. "So how long have you been learning English" kendal asked she was really interested in what Stephanie was saying to interested she had total forgot about her muffin and cookie but still sipped on her coffee as it seemed like a permanent fixual in her hand now.

Stephanie chuckled softly. "Yeah. Roxas was a big help and he made sure I learned everything right. When he, Sav, Sora and I would go out to hang, he would point out everything little detail and make me say them all, sounding everything out. Sora and Sav would laugh, but not to be mean." She thought for a moment them shrugged. "Well knowing a few words since I was 8, but literally learning it for about 4 years." She took a few more sips from her coffee and laughed lightly. She hadn't talked this much with anyone since they had moved. Maybe making friends was good for Sav & her. She sighed. "I'm a little afraid of how Sav will eventually take Lucas. She's afraid of replacing Sora." She didn't mind telling Kendal about Savana because if she even told Lucas, she doubted he would bring it up it her.

Kendal nodded her head when stephanie spoke just to let her know she was listening to what she was saying. "Oh who's sora?" She wasn't quite sure if it was a boy or a girl it didn't sound like an English name so sometimes you just tell. "Was that an old boyfriend or sibling?" Kendal asked, what ever Stephanie told her she wouldn't blab to Lucas it wasn't for her to tell him. Breaking her cookie in half after eyeing it up she bit a tiny bit of it savoring the taste as the chocolate chips melted in her mouth.

Stephanie licked her lips and shook her head. "Sora's known Sav since they were kids. He was never her boyfriend, but they were close. Anybody would've guessed that they would be together, but they had never really made it official. He was a traveler, but he always ran into us at the right times. Seemed like he always knew when to come back, you know? She knew he had many other friends, but she always promised he would be her only best friend. And she was always afraid to break that promise to him. Something about when they were kids or whatever." She shrugged, not knowing that part of the story too well. "That was the only thing I knew and she had ever told me. But she didn't elaborate much."
