Since they had got there, they hardly had any time to unpack in their new apartment. Mainly because David's two year old daughter, Brooklyn kept complaining how hungry she was. So they, as in David, Brooklyn, Max and his daughter of a couple months, Arielle, went on out to see what sort of good restaurants there were in this new town. David pulled into the semi-empty parking lot of a Diner they had noticed along the way to their house earlier that day, and thought it would be good for not just them, but for Brooklyn as well.
"Alright, here we are gang." David announced their arrival, as him and Max set out to unbuckle their daughters from the backseat heading on in to what was called, "Palmer's Burgers and Fries Diner."
Holding onto the bouncy two year old by the hand, David led them all through the entrance where they were greeted by the owner of the Diner, saying to take a seat anywhere and they would be helped real soon. "Oo! Can I pick where to sit, daddy?" the hyper little girl by the name of Brooklyn asked. "Sure, baby girl. Where would you like to sit?" David told her, letting her toddle over to a booth in the far corner. "Here!" she announced, already crawling onto one side of the booth. David followed, helping his daughter up into the seat as Max had first gotten a high chair for his daughter to sit in, sliding her in close to the table next to him.
"Well, this is nice." Max finally said, David nodding in agreement. "I wonder if they have kids menus." then as soon as David mentioned that, one of the waitresses came down with a kids menu in her hand handing David it for Brooklyn. "Ha, nice timing there, Dave." Max laughed, getting out Arielle's bottle for her own lunch. David chuckled himself, handing Brooklyn the kids menu and crayons to color the other side with, before looking at his own menu along with Max.
