Past: Sahara has been moved from city to city since she was five. Her mom was always on the move because of her job as a designer and not to mention managing her own line. Sahara has always had a huge family because her mother always took in kids, which ws fine with Sahara. She loves her brothers and sisters. Her family used to live in MAB town but they moved before the hurricane because her mother had to go to California to get special treatment for breast cancer. The news about her mom having cancer scared Sahara. She was afraid for her mom, but she was more afraid of losing her. After a year and a half of treatment her mothers cancer was gone and things went right back to normal. Well, as normal as they could be. Sahara started acting out. Staying out late, partying, drinking, getting tattoos and piercings and she was only fourteen. Her mom didn't know what to do with her, especially since she was still going through chemo. Persephone volunteered to let Sahara move with her so she could straighten her out since her mother was unable to.
Present: Sahara is staying with Persephone and attending Riverside Highschool. She watches Gwen on the days that Persephone has to work and isn't allowed to participate in any after school activities, which is Persephone's way of punishing her and making sure she doesn't get into any trouble. Sahara is pretty much on lock down for the moment. If it weren't for her cell phone, school, and the few times Persephone lets her out of the house Sahara wouldn't have a social life.
