"Yeah!" Summer nodded, tugging on a braid. "I-it's not too far from my street. Only like, a-a street over." She went to grab her back, throwing it over her shoulder and moving towards the exit. "I-it's not too far away."

"Okay!" Perrin said excitedly, still feeling a bit embarrassed he had gotten lost in the first place. Hands in his pockets, he waited for her to gather her things. "Which street do you live on?" He asked her curiously.

"Ashlawn Terrace." Summer replied, heading towards the door. "I-I don't think it's too far away from where you live." She exited the building, holding the door open for Perrin to follow. Once outside she winced, the sudden sunlight hurting her eyes. "I've been in that dim building too long." She muttered, shielding her eyes.

Perrin blinked a couple times as he exited the building. "I didn't think it was that dark in there..." He agreed.

"Yeah, t-they need better lighting." Summer was glad her stuttering was getting better, she was sure it was annoying to him, it was too everyone else. "Or I just need sunglasses for when I leave."

Perrin laughed, "I think it's safe to say they need better lighting." Perrin told her with a small laugh. Rubbing his eyes, he blinked a couple times as his Ed finally adjusted. "It's interesting to think all this time we lived so close to each other, but never ran into each other." He felt like he was rambling.

Summer smiled softly, nodding a bit. "Well, I-I don't really leave the house so..." She bit her lip, shrugging a bit. She finally lowered her hand as her eyes adjusted. "M-maybe I'll have a reason to leave now..." She said much softer. Summer hoped Perrin would want to continue being her friend, she really liked him.

Perrin nodded in understanding. Recently, he had been the same way. Except for classes and the occassional visit to his brother's workplaces, he tended not to go outside much either, only probably for different reasons than Summer. "Maybe~" He said, his tone happy and a bounce in his step returning.

Summer smiled a bit, glancing around when they reached a familiar place. "Ah...w-we're on my street. You're street is this way...I think." Summer said, turning to walk down a different road. She'd never been down this street but she hoped it led them in the right direction.

Perrin was beginning to become more familiar with the area, a restaurant on the corner confirming where he was. "Ah! I remember now, it's this way." He said, pointing in the direction they were walking, only tilting his hand a little to show they'd have to turn soon.

Summer nodded and followed Perrin wordlessly, her hands folded behind her back. As they drew nearer to his house, she could feel her nervousness starting up again. The fact that she was going to a guys house, and was going to be alone with him was enough to make her feel like she was going to pass out.

Perrin walked along, letting them walk in silence, trying to be aware of the shyness the girl next to him possessed. "I hope we'll have everything we'll need at home..." He muttered, trying not to cut the silence too harshly.

"Um...w-what are we making?" Summer asked, trying hard to get over her nervous state. She wouldn't make for good company if she was nervous all the time.

"Homemade fried chicken!" Perrin reminded her, finally getting to the block his house was on. Amid all the nice houses was a humble one-story home. "That one..." He said quietly, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed.

"Oh right." She bit her lip, following him quietly until they got to his house. She smiled a bit at the size, she was never really fond of big houses because it always made her feel lonely. "It's nice. I like it." She said honestly, her smile widening just a little.
