~HISTORY~
===========================================
Balthazaar’s father got his mother pregnant right out of high school and she died during childbirth. He was left to his father, who became the founder of Hoff Airlines based in New York. Due to his father often being gone on business trips the two never grew close. His father’s business had taken off quickly and Zaar was raised in the lap of luxury, which led to him being self-centered, dishonest, and having an ego. On top of all this he had a brilliant mind; he excelled at school, became extremely involved in writing, and learned how to set up and hold a convincing argument.
His father was not single forever, he hadn’t really loved Zaar’s mother and so he had been dating around after his business had taken off. Over the years, he had been married and divorced six times by the time Zaar was 18, being careful to leave Zaar as his only child (and only his) through out it all.
Just after Zaar’s 20th birthday he was informed that his father (age 40 now) had married again, this time a 28 year old swimsuit model. Shortly thereafter he met the woman, her name was Delanie and he soon got into a habit of calling her Del. Due to her becoming sick when on airplanes Del did not travel along with Zaar’s father on his trips, instead she stayed home with Zaar and they got to know each other very well. Before another year had passed Zaar and Del had become closer than anyone had expected and were now hiding their own relationship from his father, although they both knew it was more of a friends-with-benefits relationship. Fearing that his father would find out they decided to be more cautious with their interactions. This led to Zaar become a regular at the local clubs and bars and was the beginning of his drinking. Despite their efforts his father found out about them, he punched Zaar (leaving a small scar above his left eye) and ranted about how much he hated him and how he never should have been born. Zaar glared and snarled at his father throughout the rant and then went to his bedroom, where he remained until his father left the next day for another trip.
Working things out with Del (who his father had decided to give a second chance) he figured out a way she could wire him more money without his father knowing, for when his ran out, then took everything he needed and left, not planning on returning anytime soon. He wanted to get as far away from his father as he could and so he looked towards California, finding a town called Riverside that was hours away from any Hoff Airlines he brought his plane ticket from another company and headed off for his new life out on the west coast.
