"Oh please God, I will do anything. Just please, please don't let me be..." Amber couldn't finish the sentence, a sob cutting her off. She couldn't bring herself to walk into the hospital, fear making it impossible for her to walk. Finding a bench nearby, Amber sank her trembling body onto it, taking slow deep breaths and wrapping her arms around her stomach. It'd only been 2 months since her last encounter, but she'd been violently ill the last couple days and the worst possible thing she could think of caused her to come running to the hospital. Now, she couldn't gather up the courage to go in and find out what was wrong. Amber didn't want to know the answer.

Ame wandered through the park, ending up near the hospital. With a shrug, he continued walking along the path set out on the way past the entrance and into another part of the park. He noticed a girl looking depressed and seemed drawn to her. He went over to her, giving her one of his infamous smiles, "You seem blue." He told her simply, not really sure what even made him want to talk to her, let alone pause his music to do so. He didn't normally use a hospital to pick up girls.

Deciding to just give up and go...home, if she could even call it that, Amber turned her head, only to be startled when someone began talking to her. She noticed his smile and forced herself not to jut clam up and run like she usually did when she saw those smiles. Smiles like that always ended up with her in pain... Amber shifted over a bit, allowing him to sit if he wanted. "Blue? I guess I feel a little blue." She shrugged lightly.

Ame noticed her tension, and figured he of all people could respect the wish to be away from people. He decided to turn on his "secret weapon," using his nearly-gone accent with his next words. "How come?" He asked her simply, hands in his pockets.

"I feel sick." She said a bit hesitantly, not entirely sure how much she wanted to share with a complete stranger. His accent didn't go unnoticed by Amber, and she was instantly curious to know where he was from. "I'm worried it could be something...life threatening."

Ame furrowed his eyebrows, then pointed in the direction of the doors to the hospital. "Well, you're going the wrong way then." He teased her, keeping up his accent and giving her a coy smile.

Amber allowed a tiny smile, feeling more and more drawn to his accent the more he spoke. "I'm not sure I want to know." She said, allowing herself to relax the tiniest bit. Though he didn't seem like he wanted to do her harm, Amber couldn't be too careful.

Ame raised an eyebrow, not sure she wanted to know? Did she get knocked up or something? He shrugged and said a farewell to her, but didn't even get two steps away before he turned to her again. "What if someone went in with you?" He offered. He felt like he was being uncharacteristically friendly, but ever since he had made one friend he'd been like that. It bugged the hell out of him, but it was true. And it seemed like the more friends he made in the town, the more friendly he was becoming. What was attempting to make one more going to hurt? His eyes wandered to the sky, You two must be so proud of me. He thought to himself with a small chuckle, referring to his parents.

Amber's eyes shot up, wide with shock as she forgot her guard fora second. "Would...you go in with me?" She didn't know any stranger that would stop and take time out to help someone else without wanting anything in return. Especially not for something as mundane as this. "Why?" She couldn't help but ask.

Ame shrugged, "I've got nothing better to do and I'm feeling friendly. Take it or leave it." He told her simply, pulling out his iPod and untangling his headphones as if showing he was ready to leave if she didn't ask him to stay.

Amber stood quickly, wincing as pain coursed through her stomach. "I-I'll take it." She stuttered, biting her lip. She'd started to reach out and take his hand on impulse, but caught herself in time and stuck her hands in her pockets instead. As they started towards the hospital, Amber looked up at him and said, "Thank you..."

Ame shrugged, shoving the ends of his headphones back in his pockets so it looked like he had a chain. He noticed her reach for his hand, and instead wrapped an arm around her waist, more so as if trying to help her steady herself. "Like I said, I got nothing better to do..." He muttered. He looked to her, though not looking her directly in the eyes. "I'm Ame, by the way."

Amber nodded, not saying anything else. "Amber." She said, glancing from him to the receptionist desk. Taking a deep breath she slowly walked over to it, lacing her fingers together to stop the trembling. "H-hi. I-I need to s-see a doctor..." "What's the problem?" The receptionist asked, gathering some papers together. "I-I n-n-need to have an ultrasound d-done." Amber hated how much she was stuttering right now but fear of finding out the answer was making that very hard. When the lady handed her the paperwork, directing her to sit in the waiting room and fill it out.

Ultrasound? Ame questioned, looking at her curiously. He had the feeling he shouldn't be here, but he couldn't really back out now. He had already offered to be there for Amber and so he was going to stay. He finalized to himself, sitting down next to her. "So uh... How old are you?" He asked her once they were seated.

"17. You?" Amber whispered, already knowing what he was thinking. How could a 17-year-old let herself get knocked up? Amber felt tears fill her eyes and she quickly blinked them away as she tried to fill out the form as much as possible. Once she was done with that she handed it back to the nurse and took her seat again, waiting for her name to be called.
