Picking out her outfit Amber quickly dressed deciding on a knee length pink dress with black kitten heel. Smoothing her dressed down before quickly applying another layer of lip gloss she headed for the door grabbing her car keys, Eian's present and her purse. Getting into her car she shook her head she was running late like normal, pulling out her phone she quickly typed and sent a message to Eian telling him she would be with him in around ten minutes. Putting her phone back into her bag she put the key in the ignition and set off towards Eian's house.

Arriving within five minutes since it was late evening the traffic wasnt that bad, climbing out of her car she walked up the driveway and rung the bell hoping that it would be Eian who answered the door her belly was already in knots with what she had to tell Eian and the fact that she had no idea where they where going and she hadnt brought a change of clothes if he wasnt taking her to a fancy restaurant.

Eian had convinced himself he was only slightly nervous. Slightly nervous was perfectly okay. He and Amber had been great this past year and there was no problem with going out to this fancy restaurant now. He had saved up at least $300 for her beautiful heart necklace and the reservation three months early for the restaurant. He even got a great job from Eleanor, and that was saying something since he thought of it all up by himself. Eleanor has suggested promise rings, but Eian wasn't sure if Amber wanted that much commitment at only one year or what. Straightening his tie, he had on a button down shirt and slacks. he didn't have a jacket, thinking it wasn't too fancy and he didn't want to worry Amber if she didn't dress appropriately. But, knowing his girl, she always dressed appropriately 'cause she could read him like a book.

Eian was practically pacing by the door, checking his hair, his tie, the small box in his pocket, wallet in the back pocket, voice, breath, until he jumped ten feet when the doorbell rang. He threw open the door, a large grin on his face when he saw how beautiful she looked. "Absolutely stunning as always, Love." He kissed her on the cheek, closing the door behind him. "Happy anniversary, Beautiful. you ready?" He kissed her on the lips this time for a little longer, clearly ecstatic about the date.

Amber grinned when Eian answered the door, he looked so smart. ''You look georgous babe'' she smiled, wrapping her arms loosing around his neck as she kissed him back. Grabbing his hand so they wouldn't get carried away she knew all too well what they could get like sometimes. ''Yes I'm ready. I've been ready all my life for this'' she beamed as she got to her car. ''Are you planning on telling me where we are going?'' She said turning to face Eian as she unlocked the door before climbing in. Taking Eian's present of the passengers seat and placing it between her legs she would give him it later once she had found out where they where going.

Eian grinned as she kissed him, a bit thankful she pulled away so he wouldn't offer dinner at his place instead. That would be very bad. He laughed and quickly opened the door for her with a wink, going around to the passenger side and shaking his head. "I'll give you directions it's still a surprise." he raised an eyebrow at the present, forcing himself to look at her face. He hated his young brain for being such a pig, it wasn't like her face wasn't gorgeous enough to look at but with her it was hard to concentrate. "I thought I told you not to get me anything, Love." He said gently with a peck on the cheek. He had started it as a joke but Eleanor blew up when she found out from Amber what he had said.

Amber frowned when he told her it was a surprise, she wanted to stamp her feet and throw a paddy but decided against that option. ''okay'' she sighed, ''I guess direction will have to do for now'' she said, turning to Eian before the set off and gave him her cutest puppy dog face Ever. ''You sure you don't wanna tell me baby?" smiling to herself when he asked why she had got him something of couse she was going to no matter how much he protested that she didn't need to. It was their one year anniversary so she needed to get him something that said love and she thought this present did that. Shaking the otheR thoughts out of her head she would expess tHem once they had done what ever it was they needed to do. ''so which way at the bottom of the street'' putting her foot on the brake while she waited for his answer as she squeezed the present between her legs to stop it from slipping.

Eian laughed, he knew she was probably wanting to whine at him to tell her so he leaned over and kissed her cheek. He grinned and shook his head. "No, I'm pretty sure." Pointing to their right, he smirked at her. "That way, then turn left until the second stop sign." he leaned back in the seat, raising his eyebrow at the present in her lap, then grinning to himself as he remembered the box in his pocket. "Well you're going to love your present. Though it might not go with what you're wearing." He smiled softly at her, looking her over again as he imagined her with the necklace, just taking her beauty in this time.

Pouting when she got reasurred that she wouldn't be getting told where they where going Amber took the directions onboard anf followed them in silence. Stopping at the first stop sign she checked to make sure the streets where clearing, followling the road until the next stop sign ''where now'' Amber said as she could see the next stop sign in the distance. She just wanted to get there now the suspense was killing her, she hated the unknown and this was certainly the unknown. She realised she really should comment on the present she had gotten him but she was sulking over not being told where they where going.

Eian chuckled as he realized she was just going to pout until he told her where they were going. "I wouldn't want you to freak out on me." He winked at her, giving her a few more directions. "Right all the way into town, then you'll take a left until i say stop. So go a bit slow after that turn." He grinned at her, looking behind them to make sure there wasn't anyone waiting, which there wasn't. Leaning over, he moved her face so he could kiss her gently on the lips. "C'mon Beautiful, quit pouting. You'll love that I kept it a surprise once you see it, I promise." He gave her his best Eian's-dashing-grin and moved back to settle in his seat.

Amber continued pouting it wasn't that she was having a paddy she just didn't like that Eian knew where they heading and she didn't. Loosening her pout when she felt Eians lips on hers a million butterfiles fluttered in her belly. ''I wouldn't freak out'' she said, as she contined on their way. Noticing that they where heading to the really expensive and posh restaurants. ''Eian'' she breathed, the butterfiles back in her stomach she could feel tears at the back of her eyes her hormones where all over the place these past few days which made her shudder a little. ''you're taking me to the posh and expensive restaurants?'' She breathed when she found her voice but it only came out in a whisper.

Eian grinned as she figured where they were going. "I told you you'd freak out." He said quietly, telling her to stop in front of Coble. "I've had a reservation set up for months. I was lucky they had one spot open on our anniversary. A good spot too." He smiled, getting out of the car and walking around to let her out. "Do you like it?" He asked, a trace of worry behind his voice. He knew some girls hated being taken out to expensive restaurants but he hoped she didn't mind.

''I'm not freaking out'' Amber blushed, she was taken by surprise. ''can you afford it?'' now she freaked out a little bit. Pulling up outside Coble Amber let out a sigh when Eian got out of the car, smoothing down her hair and adjusting her dress so she wouldn't flash her nickers at him as she got out of her car. Sliding out when Eian opened the door grabbing her purse and his present as she wrapped her arms around his neck giving a quick kiss. ''I love it'' she said, the tears from earlier sprung forward and fell. ''it's amazing I love you Eian Tey'' she whispered quickly wipping away the tears and she shut her car door pressed the key so it locked and grabbed Eians hand and headed towards the door.

Eian nodded, grinning proudly. "Yup. Saved up enough from working with Ian at the surf shop." He grinned, thinking about how Ian, the calm pacifist of the family, was glad when his aggravating little brother had claimed he had enough for his date. "He sighed as tears rolled down her cheeks kissing her cheeks where they had made trails and smiling at her. "I love you too Amber." He kissed her forehead, slipping his hand into hers as he held the door open for her. "Tey, table for two." He told the receptionist, showing her his ID. She nodded. "Second floor, window seat, correct?" "That's the one." He grinned proudly again as they followed the woman. It had a great view, showing the already setting sun over the other buildings. "I really wanted to impress you." He whispered in her ear as he pulled her chair out for her, scooting her in and sitting in front of her, his childish grin back in place.

Amber smiled as he told her how he had saved money from his paychecks so he could afford to take her here, but what he didn't know is he could have taken her to McDonald's and she would still be inpressed. She only ever wanted to spend time with Eian it was him she wanted not fancy things. Following Eian to the second floor she thanked him for pulling out and pushing her chair back in. ''Thank baby'' she smiled as she reached over the table and took his hand running her thumb over it. ''I'm very impressed'' she beamed her eyes full of life you could practically see the excitment in them.

Eian was glad to see she liked it; he had really hoped that she would find it impressive and to hear that she did made him ecstatic. "I'm glad, babe." He picked up her hand, kissing her knuckles and smiling at her. When the waiter came by for their drinks and handing them their menus, he told him sweet tea out of habit. He got an odd look from the waiter, but the man said nothing and turned to Amber. Eian picked up his menu, looking a bit embarrassed by his un-fancy choice, but for once didn't make a comment about the look and just went over the menu, trying to find something he recognized or could even say. Maybe Amber could tell him, she could usually figure out anything he'd like to eat and vice-versa.

Amber blushed when he kissed her knuckles the butterflies dieing down in her stomach by the second. Pulling her hand away when the waiter made his way over too them Amber asked for a diet coke with crushed ice and a glass of water with a slice of lemon and lime as she couldn't make her mind up what she wanted. Glancing over the menu she couldn't make head nor tails of it but she already had her mind set of what she fancied. It was more of a craving she fancied Crab and sweetcorn soup for her starter and then grilled lemon and herb chicken on a bed of rice or should it be pasta in sauce. ''What do you fancy'' she said looking up for her menu over to Eian, ''I can't make my mind up over what to have for my mind'' she said as she replayed her dilemma to Eian. ''what do you think?''
