Looking around the bar Rowen took a long gulp of his beer, not wanting to drink more than one because he was sure if anyone was going to drive him home tonight. He also had an early class tomorrow and getting a hangover was not a way to start the day tomorrow.
Thankfully he only had a few day left before summer vacation started. He really needed a day to himself to just sit back and relax, not worry about school his parents drilling him about his career and mostly school.
He turned twenty one a few moths ago so he was happily satisfied he didn't have to flash a Fake ID at the bouncer...Now those cost money. Spinning the last remain of his cold beer he took a long swig and sighs. Could today get any duller he needed some excitement in his life.

Caris ran her fingers through her hair as she stepped out of her car into the parking lot to the bar. She finally had a day off from the library and her other odd jobs and right now she just needed a few beers. Sighing softly as she walked in, she waved at the bartender. She had inquired about a job there since she came her every other week or so and they had been chatting about it since, talking out of it then it then out then maybe and so on. The bartender kept tabs on if her little adopted kids tried coming in or her nieces and nephews and she could always tell if thy tried getting in with a fake pass. That was the benefit of having connections with the odd people around town. Speaking of...
She glanced down the bar and saw a bored, young, unfamiliar face sitting there with a lone beer. The kid had to be around her age if not a year or two younger. She slid into the seat next to him, getting her usual drink with a 'thanks' and popping it open before finally turning to the guy. "Hey there Lonesome. Dull day?" She tried to sound a bit upbeat, hoping she didn't come off flirtatious. She knew picking up guys at bars was a bad idea but she couldn't help being social and friendly. She likEd chatting with new kids around the block.

Rowen blink a few times did someone just talk to him, he slowly look up from his empty beer bottle and saw a pretty brunette who was apparently talking to him. "You could say that, but I'm used to it just came her to escape for once you know." He said giving the woman who seem to be around his age a Small smile. He wasn't used to talking to stranger in a club no less, though he was pretty social out of all of his family. "So what bring you here.?" He asked...Deciding that another beer didn't sound so bad at the moment especially when having a conversation with some one he motion the bartender. "One beer please." His limit was 4 at the least one more wouldn't do him any harm.

Caris smiled back at him when he spoke back just as casually. Running a hand through her hair to get it out of her face again, she took a swig of her beer as she listened, shrugging when he asked her. "Over working for too little. Need a little break every once in a while so I come here some afternoons. It's nicer than in the evenings if you know what I mean." she rolled her eyes and grinned at him. Although it was later in the afternoon so a few more people were there from ending work shifts, it did get a lot more crowded at later hours after people had time to shower, eat, and make plans to meet friends. Licking her lips for another drink; she turned towards the kid again. "I'm Caris. Librarian mostly but odd jobs as well. You?" Her sisters always said that a good introduction was your Name, Occupation, and Location. Of course, that was usually for their traveling so Location wasn't very important for this.

Seeing that the woman was in the same situation as him he nodded, he could relate to it sure he didn't have as many jobs as she did but college was no picnic. He usually came to club break and shake after he was done with his classes usually on Mondays and Thursday he had early classes which lets him escape the school and come here. "Nice too meet you Caris. My names Rowen, college student this currently is my final year which is a relief." He said and offer his hand for her to shake. His mother always taught him to respect and be courteous especially with woman.

Caris smiled and nodded, shaking his hand. "College kid eh? Im reading textbooks from the library and slowly working on online courses but I have to admit, my work is probably more important now." She stuck her tongue out to show how much she actually favored that and laughed. She had other people to worry about getting into college. Quo for culinary, Quisha for art, Romatan for architecture. They worked themselves but they still went to school so she took it upon herself to work most of the time for bills and a little percentage for their college funds they constantly argued about. "Hobbies, Rowan?" She smiled a bit. "That is an interesting name I must say. Origin?"

"Hey if that's what works for you stick to it" He said giving her a wink. He took a small sip of his beer and continue to listen to her. "I'm guessing you a pretty busy woman then, a hard working lady no that what I'm talking about." He said giving her a toothy smile. Hobbies him, well he didn't really do much other then football and his major which was engineering he didn't really have much to lean on. "Um I play the triangle, I'm Japanese my parents felt that they had to bring in our culture."

Caris shrugged, laughing at him. "You're pretty funny. Thats good. Yup hard working. Have people to take care of, thankfully old enough with their own jobs but I'm responsible for them." She didn't necessarily call the Z kids her "children" since she wasn't old enough to be their mother, but she had chosen to be like her sister and adopt as a guardian since she had been taking care of a few of them since she was small. She had to hold in a laugh so as no to spill her beer as she looked at him. "The triangle? Nice one, try again." She raised an eyebrow at him, putting a hand on her hip.

Rowan shrug "eh what can I say I was born a comedian" He gave her a wink Taking another swig of his bear he licked his lips and studied her. She was a very interesting woman, she said she took care of kids she most be some sort of guardian she didn't seem to be old enough to have children her age that would be impossible. "Okay you got me, I play football with my brothers when I got the chance I'm into engineering other then that that's as good as its going to get." His siblings took all he talent.

Caris laughed again, grinning at him. She took another swallow, raising her eyebrow as she caught him looking her over. "What's with the google eyes, Ro?" She grinned as he spoke again, pushing him lightly in the shoulder. "I knew there was more to you. Engineer and football looks a lot more to you than playing the triangle." she chuckled. "Although I do play a little piano." She murmured, finishing her beer and falling for another one.

"What can I see your a pretty attractive lady, I can't help but look?" He said honestly Rowan laugh and shrug , engenering was the only thing that intrest him back when he was trying to decide his major, and football...Football was always there he wasn't exaclty the captaing of the football team but he was a pretty useful player. "What are you trying to say I'm a beast on the triangle." He said quirking his brow at her.

Caris raised her eyebrow, then rolled her eyes. "Right, right. Got any more original lines?" Caris smirked, taking a sip from her new drink. She could go a few without getting tipsy, and even then she was safe to drive home. Laughing, Caris shook her head. "I didn't say you weren't, I was just saying a man looking like you shouldn't have just 'triangle' going for him. He had to have some other secret desire up his sleeve." She winked at him, letting out another chuckle.

"Hey you can't blame a guy, what I said was true" He said giving her a small smile. He gave off a short chuckle and ran the tip of his finger to the now empty bottle of bear. " Well I guess I like to cook, and well I did play guitar back in days not sure if I'm still good though." Rowan said shrugging. " So how about you, what are your hobbies?" Rowan asks

Caris laughed and shook her head. "Well thanks Rowan." She grinned at him, folding her arms. "Ah gotta love a man who can Cook. Although the question is, can you cook well." She winked at him, shrugging at him question. "Eh reading, I write occasionally, taking care of teenagers, being an aunt and all that other stuff." Caris rolled her eyes, her gesture to show that her feelings contrasted the good nature of the tone. "It gets boring after a while. No time to Man Hunt." She grinned at him again, taking another few sips of beer.
