Should 11 year olds be allowed to date?

Okay, so when I was growing up (90s and early 2000s), it was normal for kids in the 6th grade to date. Not like seriously date in the way that older teens would, but in more of an innocent way. (like going to school dances, watching TV, or having parental chaperoned movie dates) However, I was talking to someone else today and they were ranting that eleven was too young for a girl to have a boyfriend.

Anyways....

This is Chynna. She's 11 (turning 12 in June).



She likes to fly kites. She loves Justin Bieber. She loves to watch TeenNick. She feels kind of lost because she's surrounded by teenagers everywhere she goes. She used to hate boys, but then she met one when she was nine that she wound up liking. (this was back on the old site when we would actually rp little kids dating) Sadly, the boy moved away. (like almost everybody else that meets my kids, lol)

If you don't think eleven is too young to date, fabulous. However, I do ask that your son be the right age for a junior high student (11-13 years old). I'm a little picky though when it comes to my kids dating, so I might wait and see how many replies this thread gets before making a decision.

She needs friends too, but I suck at doing friend threads for the most part, so it wouldn't be much, lol.

Haha, I'm not sure if you'll even see this post--but, I have Juliette and she's looking for friends. She likes TeenNick, too, but is rather childish. She could be friends with Chynna?
