Hey, (c) on me, Lezzi No taking please ^_^ tell me if it's good enough to finish!
Part 1----------------------------------------------------------
“Anna, you’re doing it again.”
Anna looked up, startled. Her best friend Torine was sitting across from her in their city’s library. She moved her layered blonde hair behind her ear, listening better to her.
“What?” She took her hands off the keyboard and smiled; most of it wasn’t real though. It just got Torine to stop talking sometimes. Torine sighed, frustrated.
“You’re staring at the screen again. Are you sleeping or something?” Torine always seemed concerned about Anna.
“I’m fine Tor. I was just…thinking. You know, about what I’m going to write for the project.” Torine wasn’t buying her lame excuse.
“You’re on Social.” Torine said blandly. She suddenly smiled, taking off her glasses. The red headed fairy leaned on the side of her chair to look at Anna better. “Don’t tell me you’re waiting for him.” Torine laughed as her friend’s cheeks turned a deep pink.
“Well, Exane is very good at helping me with my projects.” Anna replied stupidly. Torine rolled her eyes, her freckled face lighting up with humor.
“This is the 5th one you’ve asked him to help with. He’s probably annoyed!” Torine didn’t mean to hurt Anna’s feelings; she just had a bad habit with stating what was on her mind. As Torine went back to researching Irish Fairies for their History project, Anna rolled her eyes and saw she had a message.
Exane??
The Dreamer quickly opened the message icon, ignoring Torine reading her thoughts and rushing over to read over her shoulder.
Hello Anna! Heard you had a report in Mrs. Quivly’s. I thought I would save you the time of asking and see if you needed help.
EXANE
Torine squealed and jumped up and down, she being more girly of the two. “Reply, reply, reply!!” She hissed in Anna’s ear. Anna swatted her away but took her friend’s advice.
Haha, yeah. But it’s on whatever we want to research with the topic of History and Adaptation of Magical Creatures. Amana told her it was a terrible topic and, of course, got another detention. I would love your help though. I hear you’re very good with her history class.
Anna
Torine giggled behind her. “Will you shut up? The librarian’s going to kick us out!” Anna snapped. Torine couldn’t stop giggling though and pointed to the Social’s Speaks tab in the right corner. Anna followed the girl’s gaze.
“I wonder why he’s not there.” Anna thought curiously out loud. Torine answered, holding in her giggles.
“Maybe he’s got that setting where he blocks freaks like you.” Torine flew out of her friend’s range of a punch. “Hey, hey! Quit looking at me and pay attention to your new message!” Anna looked back at her computer and saw he had replied. Torine silently trotted back over.
Well, I hear Amana’s made good friends with the work detail lady. Sorry I’m not on the Chat. I’ve put myself as ‘offline’. Caitlyn’s on and I REALLY don’t feel like talking to her. ....
The 16 year olds both scowled at the name of Caitlyn. She absolutely adored Exane and did everything to keep other girls away from him. But she never could get Exane away from Anna and Torine, since they had become great friends when he had exchanged from the Lava Pits to their small world, Crovs. Anna kept reading the message.
So, if I help you, will you promise to be my lab partner on Tuesday? Ben’s out sick with a sore throat. It would be nice to have some pretty girl sitting next to me instead of a stuttering, spitting nerd breathing down my back whenever I get a question wrong. Haha.
EXANE
Anna laughed herself. Torine was still reading over her shoulder and looked at her. “What? I don’t get it.” Anna ignored her and replied.
I understand about the Caitlyn thing. But if you’re looking for a pretty girl as you’re lab partner, I could ask Torine.
Anna
Torine scoffed. “Oh, you’re so sarcastic! That’s not even funny on my behalf!” But they both laughed. Anna hit the send button and decided to actually start on the project so it wouldn’t be too much of a burden for Exane. She hadn’t even opened another page before the little message icon popped up with a 1 beside it. “Wow he’s fast.” Torine spoke what Anna had been thinking. She opened it and read curiously.
That’s not funny Anna. You know I would much rather have you sitting by me then anyone else. Torine’s nice but you don’t talk much. You’re sweet and silent. Not that I don’t like listening to you talk, but you don’t talk all the time. You listen. You don’t find many people who can stay quiet and just listen…
I’m sorry, am I rambling?
EXANE
Torine laughed, shaking her head. “He blushed. He was debating on whether or not to write all that down.” She giggled so hard, she had to cover her mouth. Another box filled the message space and both girls read it.
Torine’s probably already telling you I blushed. I get carried away. Sorry.
EXANE
Anna blushed herself, but replied, not mentioning that she was blushing also.
It’s okay. What can you expect from an English major? Your feelings are one thing that you love to write down. But that was really sweet, thank you. I don’t normally get complements but you always seem to know the right time to bring one up. I’ve been ha
Anna went off in a daze again before she could finish her message. Her eyes becoming cross then going into the back of her head, which was rolling to one side. Torine stopped giggling. She tried to shake Anna awake but to no success. “Anna! Anna, you know I can’t go in your head when you’re like this! Anna!!”
Torine pressed the send button to get Anna’s half spoken thought out and then quickly went to reply herself.
It’s Torine. Anna’s in a Dream State. I can’t get her out. Help now. Library.
She pressed the send button and in seconds, a powerful wind made all the papers and the girls’ hair fly everywhere. A blonde boy, the same age as the two senior girls, with red tattoos on his face and hands, was the cause of the wind. He looked around breathlessly and saw the girls, rushing over to help.
“Torine what happened?” Exane looked at her with a face of mix deep concern and fright.
Torine shook her head but couldn't get the right words out. "We were talking to you- it happened- the wrong time- I can't do anything– I- confused- why...why..." But she knew Exane didn't have the answer either. Their friend had gone into a Dream State, something that would show her something she needs to know, and they would just have to wait until she woke up to tell them what her dream meant to her this time.
