BaoChen's eyes widened, understanding her words, "No, that was really inspiring, actually. I'll have to remember that..." He told her simply. A little embarrassed, he added, "Though I'd imagine it's hard to smile all the time..."

"Really?" she hadn't thought of her saying to be inspiring. I guess it is, if you think about it. Athena looked back at BaoChen. "Sometimes it is. I mean, being surrounded by people who think low of you, or are all happy when you're not makes you sometimes wonder if the world is actually paying attention to you and what you're feeling." she shrugged, "But there's always somebody who's suffering more than you are--and that's what I think about when I feel low. That I shouldn't be upset when I know I don't deserve to be."
late and short; i'm sorry! i've been busy lately. but with the holidays, i'll probably be able to be on more. (:

BaoChen listened to her words, not able to help but soak in everything she was saying. Her words were like poetry to him. "I totally understand." Was all he could manage to say.

Athena smiled gently before glancing around. She stopped walking, then looked back at BaoChen. "Hmmm..." her voice slightly trailed off. "Do you still want to walk with me?" she asked, curiously. Athena had pretty much been walking, and he had been following behind her, but she wanted to know if he had somewhere to go. She honestly didn't. She had even forgotten why she had wanted to go outside--possibly because she wanted to explore, or something of that sort? She didn't know. "I-if you do, I can just get out of your way..." she paused and waited for him to respond.

BaoChen shrugged, "It's no problem," He told her simply, truly seeming like he wasn't doing anything too important. He looked around. "Were you going some place specific?"

Athena smiled when he said he had no place to really go. This meant, for her, that she could have some more time to get to know BaoChen better. At his question, she shook her head. "Nope!" she giggled, "I guess I was just... walking, and I ended up here." she smiled. "Um... Do you have anywhere you want to go, specifically? Or should we just walk wherever?"

BaoChen thought a moment. with a shrug, he told her, "Well, this park is pretty nice, if you just wanna like... walk around and talk. At the other end and across the street is a nice coffee shop that also has smoothies and stuff." He explained.
