Getting up at eight in the morning, taking an hour shower, taking another hour or two to get her hair, makeup, and outfit all scored away, yup, Beverly was definitely looking forward to today. It was nearing five o'clock then, the time Thongchai said he would be picking her up. She took one last look in the bathroom mirror, ignoring the fact that both Eric and Caden were pounding on the door yelling at her to come out already. "I said I'll be out in a minute, god dammit!" she yelled back at them, putting her earrings on as a last minute touch. "You said that five minutes ago, Bev! Come on! Some of us have other things to take care of!" called back her twin, Eric, followed by Caden's repeating pounding at the door just to be obnoxious. Within about thirty seconds of silence, Beverly unlocked the door and appeared in front of her irritable brothers with a smirk on her face, and leaning against the door frame. "You better not of used up all the hot water." Eric frowned at her, pushing her lightly out of the way. "Oh, well sorry for being a girl. I'll try to take one minute useless showers next time like you." Eric pushed her out of the door frame so he could get the door part way shut before adding in, "Well at least I don't look like a clown," referring to the makeup she normally didn't have one though in this case she did. Beverly simply rolled her eyes and pushed Caden out of her way next and onto the living room to wait for her date, which luckily, she didn't have to wait too long, because just as she was about to take a seat, the doorbell rang. "Mom! I'm heading out! Chai's here!" she called out to her mother, who simply yelled out a simple, "Alright! Have fun!" response, and headed out the door to meet up with her long-time boyfriend of now, six years.

Thongchai fixed his collar, still feeling a little awkward in his new outfit. He waited by the door, glancing nervously between his new scooter and the door to his girlfriend's house. When the door opened, he smiled. "Wow, you look beautiful, Bev." He praised her, pulling her in for a hug and peck on the lips.

Beverly smiled at his compliment to her. "Awe, thank's babe. You look pretty handsome yourself." she grinned, returning the hug and kisses before shutting the door behind them and started towards the scooter. "I see you finally got that scooter you've been saving up for." she giggled, motioning towards the scooter they were about to hop on together. "Very nice."

"Heh," was all Thongchai could get out, along with a small, embarrassed laugh. "Yeah, I've been saving up for this thing since we met, or something, haven't I?" He joked lightly, especially since it had only been a couple years that he started saving. He secured the pack that held a bunch of yummy Thai-styled picnic food (his mother helped him make it, but Beverly didn't have to know that, right?) and told her to hold onto him as he handed her a helmet. "I hope you weren't planning anything big..." He said softly, a little upset he couldn't do anything really exciting. HeuSeoh said he should get credit for remembering what day it was on, considering he had the same anniversary date and GenShi still had to remind him to do something special for Morgan. "When I get a job, I'll make sure to make it an anniversary you won't forget!" He promised, suddenly getting his energy back.

"Sure seems like it." Beverly laughed, grabbing the helmet he handed her, and strapping it on. She hopped on the scooter behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist, and rested her chin on his shoulder. "Oh, no its fine, Chai. I mean, even a ride around town on your new scooter is fine by me." she kissed his cheek lightly, "Just as long as we have something to eat later. I'm already getting a bit hungry." she teased, kissing him again before he started up his scooter. She laughed again when he had his energy up again, and couldn't help but jokingly add in with a laugh, "Oh, trust me, I'll be expecting something great! You know how I like to be spoiled!"

Thongchai laughed lightly, "I know, you'll be like เจ้าหญิงใจแตก (spoiled princess)." He told Beverly with a grin, easily slipping back into his home language. He started up the scooter, it not too loud to drown out his next words, "I've got something planned I think you'll appreciate. It won't be the exact same, but I think you'll get it."

Beverly laughed in return with him. "A princess? Sure, why not? Just as long as I don't have to wear pink." she teased again, nuzzling her head into his neck before kissing it gently. "Hm...well, I can't wait to see what it is, then! I'm sure I'll love it no matter what anyway."

Thongchai laughed, "You don't have to wear pink." He agreed. As he finally got near the park, he took a quick glance to Beverly, wondering if she got it yet. He parked the scooter and turned it off, grabbing the pack and holding out a hand. With a coy smirk, he asked suavely, "Do you know yet, what's planned?"

Beverly looked around as they rode down the streets, trying to figure out where they were going. It didn't take long for Beverly though, it was pretty obvious actually. "I'm gonna take a wild guess and say the park." she chuckled, hugging him tighter as he turned into none other than the park. "Reminds me of our first date back in MABtown. So sweet." she grabbed his hand as she hopped off the scooter, and gave him a sweet kiss on the cheek. "You've planned a picnic for us, haven't you?" she asked innocently, with a cute giggle attached to it.

Thongchai smiled and nodded, holding up the pack. "But with a bit of a twist. In here, is a whole bunch of food we'd normally eat if we were on a picnic in Thailand. I know you like Thai food so... I thought we should try it." He explained, finding a good spot and pulling out a thin blanket to place on the ground.

"Ooo~" Beverly's eyes widened with excitement. "Well then, that is a twist. A clever one might I add, too." she pointed out, kissing him again before following him to the spot where he laid out the blanket for them to sit on. "So....just as a curiosity...." she went ahead and plopped down on the blanket, "You brought desserts right?"

Thongchai pulled out some chocolate chip cookies and smiled, "But of course. My mom made them." He told her, as if that would say 'they're delicious.' He pulled out the rest of the food, setting it up. "I helped make some of it, but I'm not very good..." He admitted with a shy laugh.

Beverly's mouth nearly started to water when he brought out the cookies next. "Oh. My god. Those look..." she licked her lips, not even bothering to finish her sentence. She took another look at all the food Thongchai laid out, giggling lightly at the comment he made about him helping make the food. "Awe, that's alright. The point is that you tried. And who knows, you might get better later on." she winked, "I do love a man that can cook you know." she laughed.

Thongchai smiled and set everything up. "You do?" He asked, looking at her suddenly, eyes wide. Once everything was set up, he looked at the food, some of it obvious he had help from his mom. He smiled to Beverly cheekily, "I'll make sure to learn how to make good food for us!" He promised her.

"Oh yeah! That just means I won't have to cook every time." she laughed, watching all the containers of food he was pulling out, her eyes widening and jaw dropping every second. She nearly drooled from all the yummy looking food. "Mmm...this all looks so good." she said, licking her lips. "What's there for drinks?" she asked curiously, looking around for some sort of hydration.
