David pulled into the driveway smoothly as Max followed behind, parking just next to him as the driveway was big enough for two cars, though the apartment itself looked as though it was just enough room for the four of them. "Daddy, is this where we gonna live now?" said David's adorable two year old baby girl, Brooklyn as David started unbuckling her, lifting her out of the car and onto the ground for a better look at their new home. "Yep, this is it, baby cakes." he responded to her watching as she toddled into the front yard wandering around the new environment for which she would be living in now.
With her kept busy, David meandered on over to Max helping him with his own daughter, Arielle, equally as adorable at just a few months old. "Alright, Ari, you ready to take a look at your new home?" Max cooed at his daughter, who just stared blankly across the yard where Brooklyn was dancing over at. "Gahh!" she cooed back, clapping her hands with a big grin over her face, kicking her legs freely as she was being lifted by her daddy. "I think she'll be happy here, Max. I know Brook will." David said, tickling at Arielle's tummy causing her to giggle and squirm a bit. Max nodded, not taking his eyes off of his daughter for just watching her smile makes his day turn right side up again, no matter how bad it seemed.
"Daddy! I'm hungry!" Brooklyn called out, her little hands over her stomach, pouting. "Alright, Brook, we'll get these few boxes in then we'll get you something to eat." David called back, just making Brooklyn pout even more. "But I wanna eat now!" David just ignored that last statement as he grabbed Arielle from Max's arms motioning for Brooklyn to follow in the house while Max followed them all in with one of the first boxes to carry in.
David led Brooklyn over in the new kitchen along with one of the baby bags filled with snacks. "I'll give you a snack, but then you'll have to wait, cause we don't have any food in the house right now." David explained carefully to the anxious little girl bouncing on her toes as he handed her a few saltine crackers with slices of cheese. Followed by grabbing Arielle's bottle of milk seeing she was getting a little fussy after watching her cousin start eating. After setting Brooklyn down to eat her snack, David walked back outside to see if Max needed any help with anything while he was feeding Arielle. "Nah, its cool, man. Hey, after we're done, why don't we head down to the Entertainment Center, look for some food that Brooklyn's been waiting for." Max solidly suggested, feeling like they could get a quick feel for this new town before they finish unpacking everything from boxes. "Yeah, that'll be nice. I know Brook would sure love it too. Get some of her energy out that way." David chuckled at the last part, removing the bottle from Arielle's mouth for she was finished and ready to be burped. "Oh, uh, do you mind?" Max awkwardly asked motioning to his daughter. "Oh sure, go for it. She is your daughter after all." David smiled, knowing exactly that Max wanted to burp his own daughter. As little as that job may be, Max wanted to be the best dad he could possibly be. At least until Naomi arrives.
