"Amaya, you throw like a girl." Aiden laughed, catching the football in his hands before throwing it back to his sister. Amaya rolled her eyes as she caught the ball, pausing a second to brush her hair out of her face before throwing the ball back to Aiden, a bit harder this time. "I am a girl dummy. And I was trying not to hurt you, thank you very much." She caught the ball thrown to her again, laughing. " You throw like a girl!" Amaya ran down the indoor football field, past Aiden and tossed the ball onto the ground, doing a little victory dance. "Touchdown! Amaya Moore has won the game! And the crowd goes wild! Wooooo!" She turned to Aiden, who shook his head. "Hear that Aiden?" Amaya laughed, cupping her hand behind her ear. "They're chanting my name."

Gabriella wandered into the indoor football field and found a spot on one of the bleachers. She couldn't stand the silence of a library. She'd been too used to the sounds of family members her entire life, there was no way she could console herself to silence now. The indoor football field always had at least someone practicing so she could pretend that she'd shut herself in her room at home and only a few of her sibling could bother her. She sat down and took out a book from her bag. She had a test coming up and she was supposed to know all about the internal workings of dolphins, whales and sharks and how they compared to one another. She was fine when it came to the sharks, but the other two were proving a little difficult for her.

"Hey Ade, go long!" Amaya called, not waiting as she threw the ball. Aiden ran after it, but he wasn't fast enough. The ball went crashing into a girl sitting on a bench not too far from them. Luckily, Amaya hadn't thrown too hard but still, footballs were pretty painful. Aiden ran towards the girl, grabbing the football and helping her up. "Are you alright?" "Ohmygosh, I'm so sorry!" Amaya gasped, running over to her as well. "Are you alright? I didn't mean to hit you, I'm sorry!"

Gabriella shook her head, a little stunned. As many times as she'd been to the indoor field, she'd never been hit by the ball. "Yeah, I'm fine..." she said softly. "That was quite a throw," she offered to the other girl. She looks around to get her bearings back and noticed she must have tumbled down a bleacher or two. 'That should have hurt more than it did,' she thought to herself. "Don't worry about it, I'm fine. Thanks," she said as she pulled her arm out of the man's grasp. Now that she was standing it would only make for awkwardness should he maintain his grip on her. "Really, I'm fine."

"Yeah, sorry. It was meant for him, not you." Amaya said, scratching the back of her head. "But thanks." Aiden let go of the girl when she began pulling away, sticking his hands in his pockets. "Are you sure you're alright?" He asked her. He'd noticed how far she'd fallen, and was quite naturally worried. "I'm gonna go do something less dangerous. I'll catch up with you later Ade." Amaya said then, bouncing down the bleachers and out of the indoor field.

"Yeah, I've fallen from higher places onto harder things," Gabriella said. "I've got a hard head." She proved this by knocking on the back of her head and wincing a little as she hit a sensitive spot. "I guess that's where it broke my fall," she smiled.

"If you're sure." Aiden was still wrried but she said she was fine and he could only go by her word. He glanced down then and saw all her papers and books scattered. "Ahh, I should help pick those up." He said, not really waiting for an answer. Her next comment brought his eyes back to her, a tiny frown on his face. "Are you sure you're alright?"

Gabriella just nodded and bent down to pick up her things. "I see you here a lot practicing. You're good," she said trying to change the subject. "I'm Gabriella," she offered her hand as she crouched down in front of him.

"Thank you." Aiden smiled, picking up the last of her stuff. He placed it on the bench next to him and took her hand. "I'm Aiden. Nice to meet you Gabriella. You come here often?" He hadn't noticed her, but then again he didn't really notice anything while he was practicing.

"Nice to meet you too, Aiden," Gabriella shook his hand. "I usually come here to study, you kind of get in a zone. It's cool to watch. I can always tell when you're having a good or bad day based on how easy it is for you to get into your zone." She set her pile next to his on the bench. "I'm not a stalker or anything," she quickly amended, "I just come here on a daily basis."

"Oh." Aiden chuckled a bit, feeling a light blush cross his cheeks as he scratched the back of his head. He hadn't realized she actually paid attention to him, and that made him feel just a bit self-conscious. The fact that she'd been watching him long enough to learn his habits was interesting. "I see. How long have you been coming here? I can't believe I've never noticed you before."

"I'm a junior, so this will be my third year coming here. The library is too quiet for me, I can't take it, so I come here where there's at least a little noise." Gabriella explained. "You really like football, don't you? Why aren't you on the school team? I don't actually go to the games so I don't know if you're on the team or not," it was her turn to scratch her head now.

"Ohh, okay." Aiden had been coming here since they moved to Riverside, but he still couldn't understand how he'd never noticed her before. He figured he'd been so focused on his football that he didn't really notice a lot of stuff. "I do, I love it." He chuckled lightly. "I'm on the team, I have a football scholarship to the University, but I don't always play in the games. I'm not the best player so you probably wouldn't have heard of my name anyway." He smiled at her. "What are you studying?"
