"Sam's always wanted one as well." Jake nodded towards his younger brother, "Oliva...well, she's just wanted some sort of pet to play with and take care of." Jake pulled Hanna in closer as she cuddled more into him. "I promised them that if we ever get a place to call our own, then I'd get them a puppy." He smiled whole-heartedly.

Hanna hoped that she fit in with that plan somewhere. She knew that Jake had said he'd ask her to move in with him, but she wondered if that meant that he wanted to be with her always. The thought caused her heart to beat a bit faster and a light blush to cross her cheeks. Hanna was glad the room was dark so she wouldn't have to answer any questions. "Puppies are cute. Get a small one."

Jake smiled, and kissed the tips of her lips gently. "How small? Like, Chihuahua small? Or, the runt of the litter small?" he chuckled teasingly, giving her another peck on the lips.

"Like, baby small. Not a runt." Hanna giggled softly. "I don't like big dogs, they scare me." She'd been chased by a dog once when she was little, and had developed the fear of dogs ever since. Small dogs she could handle, as long as she could pick them up easily. Anything bigger than that and she couldn't be around them without freaking out.

"But...what if its a gentle giant?" Jake tried reasoning. Sam personally wanted some type of big dog. Olivia just wanted something as loyal as a Golden Retriever. "How about a Golden? They're sweet. We could get a puppy, that way it'll start off small." he cuddled in closer to her, nuzzling his face in the crook of her neck.

Hanna glanced over at the kids to see if they were sleeping, and then turned back to Jake with a shrug. "I guess that'll work. As long as it doesn't try to eat me." Hanna knew she was being somewhat ridiculous but she felt she had a legit reason to be afraid of big dogs.

((why would they be sleeping during one of their favorite movies?? lol))
"Awe, don't worry. I'll make sure to get a Golden as friendly and loyal as I am." he reassured her, leaning down to kiss the top of her lips. "Not to mention, one that'll protect you just like I do to you." he added in with a wider grin.

((Uhh...cuz it's late and people tend to fall asleep when they're sleepy?))
Hanna shrugged lightly, kissing him back. "I guess." She still wasn't comfortable with the whole getting a big dog thing but she didn't want to argue or anything. Hanna rested her head against Jake's chest, yawning. She was sure she wasn't going to be able to make through the entire movie at this rate.

((lol, i hadn't noticed what time it was then... XD))
Jake smiled in return, pulling her in closer so her head would lie on his chest. "Don't worry, I don't plan on buying a dog till we get our own place. And who knows how long that'll take." he chuckled lightly, kissing Hanna's forehead gently whilst stroking her arm with his thumb.

((lol. i don't think we specified. but i assumed it was late cuz they've been out all day.))
Hanna simply nodded, yawning again. Hanna wrapped her arms around Jake's waist, pressing as close to him as possible. "That just gives me more time to try and get used to big dogs then." Hanna smiled up at Jake, kissing his cheek gently before tucking her head under his chin once again.

((true..))
"Yup..I can help you over come that fear too if you'd like." Jake nodded, stroking his hand up and down her arm softly.

"How?" Hanna felt silly to be honest. She wasn't afraid of a lot of things, but the stuff she was afraid of seemed like things children should be afraid of. Thunderstorms, dogs, even snakes. Hanna sighed softly, closing her eyes. As long as Jake still loved her she guessed it was alright, but she wished she weren't so timid about certain things.

"Well, back at the park, I've seen a lot of dogs out wandering with their owners. Sam and Olivia had even gotten a chance to play with them a few times." Jake explained, hoping Hanna would agree with his idea. From what's been happening, it seemed like Hanna was afraid of a lot more things than he thought she would be. Two out of the three things his little siblings were afraid of as well. "We could walk down to the park some weekends to help get over your fear if you'd like. How's that sound?"

Hanna nodded, biting her lip. If it would help her get over her fear, no matter how terrifying the idea sounded, she would be willing to do it. "Alright..." Hanna closed her eyes then, feeling sleep slowly overtake her. It wouldn't be long before she was completely under. "Hopefully...I won't be such a 'scaredy cat...by the time you get your apartment..." She muttered sleepily.

"I'm sure you won't be." Jake simply told with a soft chuckle, kissing Hanna's head watching her fall asleep in his arms. He looked over at his brother and sister sleeping on the floor. The movie was near the end now, and he could see Olivia curled up on the floor clutching her bear in her arms with Sam using his sister as a pillow and sucking his thumb peacefully.
((and....end? lol))
