Luna walked into the clothing store, glancing around. Why am I in here? She silently sighed to herself as she adjusted the bag on her shoulder, brushing her white hair out of her face. Hot topic would've been a much better choice in stores. She actually did know why she'd come into Forever 21. Her sister had told her she needed to brighten up her wardrobe because so much black was depressing. She quirked the side of her mouth up in a somewhat smile as she walked further into the store. It can't really hurt to look. She reasoned with herself as she fingered through the clothing on the first rack she saw. Someone asked her if she needed help and she shook her head, looking back at the clothing.

After shopping around the mall for a few hours and grabbing a quick bite to eat, Rochelle thought it was time for another one of her favorite stores to walk into. Forever 21. Lugging her bag over one shoulder along with two other shopping bags in each of her hands, one of them being from Hot Topic and the other being of course shoes, she wandered around the new trends section for a bit before stopping in her tracks eying some amazing new jeans that just came in. "Oh my god. Those are so fucking cute." she couldn't help but say her thoughts aloud, moving one bag to one hand in order to hold up a pair of jeans taking a closer look at them.

Luna looked up after hearing someone squeal something about something being cute. She turned her head from where she was looking at a silver and black bracelet to see a girl holding up a pair of jeans. Those are cute. She mused to herself. She would've went over and commented. But her dislike of talking forced her to keep her mouth shut and lower her gaze, letting her hair fall in her face.

Rochelle tossed the jeans she held up over her arm, wandering over to another rack, finding the 'perfect' black top to go with it. "Oh, hell yeah. The fashionista is in the house." she muttered out again, adding in a cocky tone to her voice as she smirked. "Now where the hell are those hot shoes I found online?" she asked herself, starting her way over towards the shoe section, having past by a girl by the bracelets, accidently bumping into her. And of course she didn't even notice what had happened for her eyes kept in front of her like a tunnel vision. Rochelle was always like that, her cocky attitude always getting in the way of getting along with pretty much any and everyone. |

Luna had turned back to continue fishing through the bracelets when the girl bumped into her. She let out a soft gasp as she stummbled, but that was about as much noise as she made with her voice. The sound of metal bracelets clanging to the ground as she tried to catch them was more than enough noise. Fuck my life. She thought as a light blush crossed her features. A saleslady came over to ask if she was okay, but she only nodded and waved her away, squatting down to pick up the fallen accessories.

"Dude, these would go perfect with this outfit." Rochelle grinned, muttering to no one in particular but herself, which was normally the case. "Simple, but still classy." she smirked, keeping hold of her Smoked Heels she found, while glancing around at anything else she found 'hot' and/or 'in style'. |

After composing herself, Luna eyed the bracelet she was holding, and then walked over to the girl, tapping her on the shoulder. Waiting for her to turn around, Luna motioned to the outfit the girl had picked out, and then held out the bracelet, biting her lip and hoping the girl would understand what she was trying to say. Luna had taken sign language as a child, but most people didn't understand it so she didn't use it most of the time. |

While glancing on another pair of heels, Rochelle felt a tap on her shoulder, which caused her to turn around, furrowing her eyebrows with confusion of who would be talking to her at this time, or at all really. She took one look at the girl, not recognizing that it was the girl she had bumped into earlier. Though, at that first glance at the bracelet she was holding, her eyes grew large. "Oh my god, that's perfect!" she nearly shouted, basically snatching the bracelet out of the girl's hands without saying a word to her as she normally did. "Damn, it looks expensive." she shrugged her shoulders, "All the more reason to buy it." she smirked, slipping it on her wrist for size and such, falling in love with it already, before looking back up to the girl who seemed to still be standing there, silently. "You know, for a silent chick, you have pretty good taste in jewelry."

Luna jumped a bit when the girl snatched the bracelet from her, pleased that the girl was happy with her suggestion. She ducked her head after signing the words "thank you", tucking her hair behind her ear. She glanced around the store at something else the girl might like, pointing to the hat and scarf rack to see if the girl would want one.

Rochelle glanced back at the silent girl, thanking her in sign language. Is this girl deaf or something? she thought at first. Rochelle didn't know any sort of sign language, so she just simply smiled at the quiet girl, about to continue her search for clothes when the girl pointed out to a rack filled with tossed scarfs and fashionable hats sitting not too far from them. "Ohh, those are cute." she grinned, heading towards them, completely ignoring the silent girl as she walked past her, her eyes mesmerized by one particular scarf in front of her, brushing her hand against it for a proper feel. |

Luna stood off to the side, crossing her arms. She was used to being ignored so it didn't bother her much. Instead, she gestured a good-bye to the girl, not sure she saw her, she highly doubted it. Luna was glad she could help the girl out though. so she didn't feel bad. Maybe Hot-Topic will have something for me.

Rochelle was tossing and spinning the scarf all around her neck, turning again to grab a hat to try on when she spotted out of the corner of her eye the quiet girl seem to be leaving the store. Rochelle set the hat back down, running towards her, careful not to set off the store alarm as she shouted, "Whoa! Wait, hey! Deaf girl!" she tried waving her down, though even if she really was deaf, it wasn't like she could hear Rochelle calling at all. Though that didn't stop her, as she continued waving her hands and calling out, "Silent chick!"

After hearing the girl yelling, Luna stopped in her tracks and turned back to the girl with a slight frown. She thinks I'm deaf? Well, I suppose me not talking would hint to that. She fought a sigh as she tried to figure out a way to tell the girl she wasn't death. Finally she just pointed to her ear, nodded, and then patted her throat and shook her head, hoping the girl would be abke to get that she could hear perfectly fine, she just didn't talk.

Just as the girl turned around to look back at her, Rochelle stopped in her tracks, dropping her hand back to her side while trying to comprehend what the girl was trying to tell her. "Um..." she thought out loud. "Oh! You don't, you don't talk?" she questioned her answer, hoping she was right. Shaking her head full of thoughts then, Rochelle held up a finger signaling to the girl to wait a moment, while she headed to the register to purchase her things, and scurried back over to the quiet one, heading back out the store with her, catching her breath while still lugging around all her bags. "So, wait..you don't talk? But...you're also not deaf. So, what? You're a mute, or something?" she continued pestering the girl with numerous questions. She was just so curious as to why a girl with such good taste in fashion decide to be a mute.

Luna nodded when the girl asked if she didn't talk, and then waited patiently for her to make her purchases. When the girl came back, she turned and began walking towards Hot Topic, turning her head to look at the girl as she asked multiple questions. Luna looked away, frowning a bit. She had no idea how to answer those questions. When she asked if she was a mute, Luna shook her head, then frowned even more and shrugged. It's not that she couldn't talk, because she had every ability to talk. She just didn't. Ever since she was a child she never spoke. Luna sighed. They passed by a book store and Luna got an idea. Holding up a finger, she quickly dashed into the store, coming out a few minutes later with a notebook and pen. Opening to the first page she quickly scribbled, I'm not mute, I just don't talk.
