Seeing the girl shake her head had given some clues for Rochelle to learn more about. Once they stopped in front of a bookstore then, Rochelle at first just looked at the girl with disbelief. Are you kidding? she thought, How can a girl with such good taste in fashion also be a bookworm? When she had disappeared in the store, it gave Rochelle some time to get situated, organizing the bags she was carrying and whatnot. Then the girl had returned, not with books, but with a notebook and pen, and she started jotting something down before holding up the notebook for Rochelle to read, furrowing her brows in concentration, confused as to what was going on at first. "O-oh." she answered simply, looking back up at the girl then. "So, what? Are you shy or something?"

Luna shook her head. "It's too long to explain." She hoped the girl wouldn't ask her too many questions. Not only was it too long, but Luna found she had a hard time explaining why she didn't talk, finding it both embarrassing and stupid. She bit her lip. "Let's just say, I had a bad childhood." It was a very cliche' answer, but the best one she could provide at the moment.

Rochelle nodded both times, shrugging her shoulders slightly with a simple, bleak reply back, "Fair enough." It wasn't that she wasn't curious about it, but Rochelle simply just wasn't in the mood to play twenty questions. What she was in the mood for was some serious shopping. Although with the amount of bags in her hands, she probably already went to all the stores in this mall. All the good stores anyway. "So where were you off to, anyway? I mean, before I caught you walking out of Forever 21." she asked, more in a curious tone, but keeping her tone of voice neutral, and only somewhat cocky.

"Hot Topic. Forever 21 doesn't suit me." Luna wrote before heading in the direction of the store once again. She glanced at the amount of bags the girl had, not noticing before. How long had she been at the mall? Shaking her head slightly, she turned to look where she was going. The girl must really love shopping to have so many bags. Luna paused, realizing she'd been calling her "the girl" in her head the whole time. "My name is Luna." She wrote, running a hand through her hair.

"Excellent choice there. I already headed there earlier today." she told the girl, holding up one hand full with two bags, but managing to have the Hot Topic bag show in front. "I'm more into the dark styles. Hoping to design some, myself." she explained, almost not even noticing the pad of paper the girl held out to show her again, her name being written down. "Luna." she repeated to herself. "Nice name. I'm Rochelle. Not like you'll be saying it anytime soon, though." she muttered the last part out, more so under her breath.

She wanted to be a fashion designer? That was cool. Luna herself didn't know what she wanted to be yet, but she thought now would be a good time to find out, or sometime soon. Luna bit her lip, signing the characters of Rochelle's name, hoping she'd spelled it right. She had the distinct feeling that Rochelle didn't like her much, but that was a typical reaction from people when they found out she didn't talk. Which is why she didn't tell too many people.

Rochelle noticed Luna making signs with her hands, guessing she was doing sign language. "What are yo--" she quickly stopped her question, figuring she was most likely spelling out her name rather than repeating it allowed just as she did to hers. "Never mind." she said, shaking her head slightly, not really sure what else to talk about with a girl who doesn't speak. Rochelle bit her lip during the awkward silence they took, looking ahead then relieved to see that they were nearing Hot Topic at last.

You could see the excitement on Luna's face as they finally reached Hot Topic. It was very suttle, but it was there nonetheless. She entered the store and immediately went over to where the skirts where, picking up a black one and holding it to her waist, turning to where the mirror was. She tilted her head to the side with a slight frown, and then turned to Rochelle to see her opinion on it.

Rochelle followed Luna to where she headed straight for the skirts, holding one up to her, before turning to Rochelle herself. She tilted her head as well, in deep thought of how to rate this skirt. "Hm..it is something that suits you, thats for sure." she told, a slight grin showing up at the end. "It's cute." she finished off with a better smile showing up, not bothering to look around herself, for she had literally just come out of this store within an hour or two ago, and she had what she needed already.

Luna grinned and tossed the skirt over her shoulder, looking now for the right top. She finally decided on a simple black long sleeved shirt that was form fitting. Looking around, she found the dressing room and literally flew into it, coming out moments later with the outfit on. She always tried on stuff before buying it to make sure it fit. She modeled herself in front of the mirror and Rochelle, liking the way she looked in the clothes. This was easily her favorite store.

Rochelle watched Luna wander around the store, grabbing a shirt she passed by, and waited for her outside the dressing room until she reappeared in front of her, modeling her outfit she found. Rochelle nodded. "So I take it your into dark stuff. Sweet." she grinned at the last word she gave, giving out that she too was into dark things. She turned her head to find some black boots that would go well with the outfit she currently had on. "Here, try these on for size." she said, setting her bags down to toss her the boots she urged her to try on next.

Luna nodded eagerly, plopping herself onto the ground to try on the boots, immediately falling in love with them. They were a perfect fit and Luna stood to show them off, her grin still on her face. She was glad Rochelle was actually helping her, because for a moment, Luna didn't think she liked her. She looked at herself in the mirror, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. After a second, she went to change into her regular clothes. She looked over at the jewelery, but shook her head and gathered the stuff she had in her hands. She would have bought some, but she didn't have enough money.

Rochelle nodded with a grin on her face, feeling rather impressed with her choice of styles yet again. "Now that's what I call fashion." she grinned, proudly, waiting later for her to return back to her regular clothes as she grabbed her bags again, getting ready to head to the register for her to pay for her things.

Luna went to pay for her stuff, returning to Rochelles side soon. She mouthed the words "thank you" as she signed it as well, still smiling. She was glad she'd gotten the outfit she'd come to the mall for, and even met a new friend. Her stomach chose then to growl though, and she touched a hand to it with a light blush. All this shopping had gotten her hungry.

Rochelle nodded as Luna mouthed the words 'thank you', and led her back out of the store. She was about to ask her where she was off to next, seeing maybe she could help her with another outfit, since she probably needed the help anyway. But when she opened her mouth to speak, she saw Luna's expression change with a light blush showing as she touched her stomach. Rochelle smirked with a light chuckle. "Hungry much?"
