Shawn stuck his cigarette back in his mouth only to exhale the smoke into Polaris' face, hinting her to back off, with his scowl upon his face as well. He dropped his cigarette on the ground not even bothering to put it out just yet, and gripped onto Polaris' wrist hard. "Look, if you don't like me, or if I just piss you off even more than you already were, then why don't you just leave?! You know, you could of totally ignored that fuckin' voicemail I sent you and not shown up at all! I would of just ended up having a great time over at the bar without you coming to screw things over with me! My life is fucked up as it is, why do you have to come in and fuck it up even more! Fuckin' bitch." he ended, his eyebrows furrowed, as he started twisting her wrist around, beginning to hear some crackling, but not enough for it to be broken...yet.....

Polaris sucked in air as he twisted her wrist. "I thought I could deal with you. I thought you were actually trying to be my friend. You could've forgotten the number all together." As her wrist cracked, her instincts kicked in and she punched his gut ahrd enuogh to push him back, pulling away from him a few steps. "That hurt." She muttered. Tears brimmed her eyes, but more from anger then anything. She didn't look at him but stood there. She waited for a blow to her head or something. She wanted him to prove to her that he was done.

"Well, I guess that's just another stupid mistake I made in my life, huh?" Shawn yelled back before letting out a grunt from when she punched him in the gut, causing him to fall back, yet still on his feet. Steam was blowing out of his ears even more this time; snickering at her next comment made about her wrist. "So, what? Now your gonna cry? Wimp..." he laughed, crossing his arms back over his chest. "Go ahead, cry. I dare you, fuckin' baby." he snickered some more, proving just how much of a jerk he really can be now.

"I'm not crying at that!" She yelled at him, looking at him with eyes that could have been set on fire. The expression 'if looks could kill' came into her head briefly. "I'm not even crying yet. You've got no excuse to come off like this. I bet I'm the only person who ever tried and got through almost a day. Way to blow it. Geezus can't you just..." She stopped and sat on the ground, her feet crossed. "Just stop. If you seriously hate me that much, get out of here." She took a breath, her tears fading, and unsuccessfully, trying to calm her anger down as well. She'd put up a fight if she had to, but she'd rather him walk away. "You do this on purpose don't you?" She had to say it. She knew it'd probably jsut bring on more taunting and things, but she could care less. "You're enjoying it, watching someone build up a sort of liking, and then knocking it down with one blow. This is a game for you."

Shawn raised his eyebrows, standing in the same position as he watched Polaris continue freaking out, from getting up in his face to plopping on the ground. He couldn't help but let out a light laugh right then and there. "Wow, you serious?" he laughed, taking a few steps in closing in to her. "Well I'll let you in on a little secret." he started as a whisper but soon turned into a yell, "No one suddenly takes a liking for me! I mean, seriously, who would? You? Ha! You know, I'm starting to realize that maybe I just don't need friends. And your right, maybe I should just leave. You'll be happy to never see me again." he finally finished, his voice sounded just as heated as hers did. He walked passed her, his hands back in his pockets as he kicked the cigarette he had dropped earlier to Polaris, tiny sparks flying off it, one of them hitting Polaris on her bare hand. Passing by the trees, Shawn felt better, though somewhere in the back of his mind, he was still half-hoping that Polaris would chase after him, at least to apologize first.

Polaris ignored the burning. She'd felt it before.Half of her wanted to run after him, to kick his ass. The other knew it'd be better to just get up and leave. If he didn't think she cared, why should she? Polaris sighed. "Because I hate not trying." She got up, putting out the cigarette and walking out, leaning against the building to take a few breaths. "I tried. I really did." She spoke out to herself, running her fingers through her hair.

Slowing his steps down some, Shawn finally stopped. Closing his eyes, taking a moment to think about what was happening here, he clenched his teeth, exhaling most of his anger out, opening his eyes back up. But mostly because she thought she had heard murmuring behind him. Turning his head to the side, with his body staying still, he recognized the voice. She said she tried. he thought. Did she really try though? I mean, if she still was, she would of pulled me back again. Maybe I should...no..no Shawn, that would be stupid. All these thoughts filling his mind, he loosened his hands out of his pockets, rubbing the back of his neck as he turned the rest of his body around facing towards her. Shaking away his thoughts he inhaled some confidence, and exhaled his anger, starting up towards Polaris again, seeing if there was anything he could do to help her help him. He stood up in front of her, not really sure what to say at first, so for now he just stood there with a bewildered look on his face.

When Polaris opened her eyes, they widened and she pressed herself against the wall. She didn't say anything, but loked at him, wondering what he wanted. She clenched her fists and stood straighter, bringing herself back confidence. She expected he wanted to fight more. She didn't bother trying to look on the bright side, he'd made it obviouse he didn't care anymore.

"Relax, princess. I didn't come back to fight." he said at first, holding up his hands by his waist in defense before relaxing them again. He tried thinking of what to say to her. But words kept getting jumbled in his head. "I, uh, I just overheard what you were saying about actually trying. Trying what exactly?" he questioned at first, not trying to sound like a smart-ass, he just wasn't used to people actually trying to help him like this before. "And also...what exactly did you mean by, building up a sort of liking? D-do you like me or something?" He didn't meant to let out so many questions, he was just so baffled, he didn't really know what to do about it.

Her brows furrowed at his questions. where did this come from?? She wondered silently. It was a while before she coulda ctually answer though. "I tried being your friend. I don't waste my time on nothing." She some how managed from blushing at his second question. "I meatn like... getting to like you. Like as in the opposite of hate? Ever trying it." The last slipped out accidentaly and her hand covered her mouth. Damnit!!

Furrowing his eyebrows slightly, Shawn managed to listen and understand without slipping out a rude remark like usual. Well, until the last comment was made he was content. His eyes grew wide suddenly, utterly confused now. Wait, so she really does like me? But...no one likes me...right? So why does she? "Um..opposite of hate?" he questioned, making sure he heard correctly before thinking further ahead.

Polaris sighed, her head hanging. "Yes. Am I speaking loud enough or are you going deaf again?" She looked back at him, tilting her head. "As in actually trying to be a friend or something." She took a deep breath before continuing. "Nobody...nobody really diserves to be alone an angry for their lives right?" She loked at his eyes, searching forr something indicating if this was a joke or if he was serious.

Rolling his eyes, he ignored her comment and went back to what she was saying before. "It's not like I haven't had a friend before...well, technically my 'friends' was the gang I was in. We considered ourselves friends. I guess we never really knew what friends were, cause we always got each other into trouble, and fights and such." he tried explaining more calmly than he had before. "So, I wasn't really ever alone in my life..but I guess technically, without anyone to help me out or really be a friend to me, I really was alone in this world." he finished off, really trying to explain more to himself rather than Polaris, since he was probably more confused than she was right now.

Polaris kept from shaking her head, still pressed against the wall. "Have you ever tried finding someone else besides people like them?" She was trying to keep him on a cool level. She didn't feel like getting him started again, escpecially when she was techinically cornered.

Shawn furrowed his eyebrows again, shaking his head to her question. "No..even if I wanted to I couldn't. Last time I was with them, we all got busted by the police after the many warnings he gave us and finally sent us all to separate juvenile halls in different states. Personally, I was glad to be away from them." he bit his lip then, realizing something, "I guess the reason why I act the way I act, and pick fights with everyone is because I want so much to get back at those guys, but instead I take it out on other people like you." he frowned, meaning to say that he's sorry, but wasn't really up to that point in time yet.
