Today was a very busy day for Ron. He'd been up since the crack of dawn getting the house ready for the baby shower that was supposed to be happening today. Annie had still been asleep laying next to him when he woke up, so he was careful to not make a lot of noise and accidentally wake her.
That had been around 6 am. Now it was close to 10, and he'd just finished setting up the living room for the shower, as well as making sure all of the food and gifts, (one's that he'd bought at least) were ready. All of this, and he had yet to eat breakfast.

Annie gave a long yawn when she woke up, rubbing her eyes. She'd been so used to waking up with someone behidn her that she almost had a mini panic attack when she didn't feel anyone there. then she remembered what today was: the baby shower. She let herself relax as she figured he was probably rushing around getting things ready and she felt bad that she wasn't doing anything. She had felt extremely useless these past few days with the large bump now attached to her middle. She giggled though as she sat up, feeling the roundness of her stomach and feeling a bit excited. She picked herself up slowly and changed shirts; she'd worry about her pants later, they were black sweats that looked fine anyways. She made her way to the stairs and made her way up slowly. that was another thing she hated -being slow. But when she made it up, she smiled as she saw Ron giggling at the place set up so beautifully. "It looks amazing Ron. Absolutely beautiful."

Ron looked up from his spot on the couch, smiling a bit when he saw Annie. "Morning beautiful." He stood, walking over to her and kissing her lightly. "Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I worked hard on it." He touched his growling stomach, chuckling. "I even forgot to eat breakfast. Are you hungry? I can make us some pancakes or cereal or something." Ron was talking a bit faster than normal, and that was due to his brain moving at a much faster pace. To say his was excited was an understatement, but it was a rather nervous excitement.

Annie giggled. "Good Morning." She nodded, looking around again. "It really does look nice. i thought Ferno would be here by now to help." She sighed. "That girl is always late." She giggled again as Ron spoke quickly, standing on her toes to give him a light kiss. "Breakfast sounds nice." She said slowly. "Slow down sweetheart you're going a mile a minute."

Ron took a deep breath, letting it out on a shuddery sigh. "Yeah, I know. I tend to talk super fast when I get nervous or excited." It was a strange trait that seemed to run in the family. He took her hand, leading her into the kitchen. Ron made his way to the fridge, opening it to reveal all the food packed into there for today. He wasn't even sure how many people they were expecting, but his mom managed to buy for the multitude, as usual. "What do you want to eat?"

Annie smiled at him, playing with his hair. She leaned on the counter, watching him open the fridge. Her eyes widened at all of the food. "Getting ready to feed an army?" She remarked with a half hearted laugh. She knew a few girls and her cousins were coming to the shower but she didn't know how many of Ron's family members were there. She prayed not too many, she had been feeling anxious all week about it. She hated crowds but she didn't see a way out of this. Ferno and Caris had insisted she had a proper baby shower. "U-uhm I don't mind. Surprise me."

"I told my mom we didn't need this much food, but she doesn't listen to me." Ron sighed, shaking his head lightly. He pulled out some eggs and sausage from the fridge before grabbing a skillet and a couple plates. He got to work on making the sausages, making sure they were done before making a couple omelets. Once finished he put the food on the table and grabbed some silverware. "Thirsty? We have lots of juice or some milk, or water..."

Annie had calmed herself down quickly. she was getting a little better to being around people, but it was really just Ron's family so she got used to them. She still stuttered every now and then and felt embarrassed but she was getting better. She wasn't so sure how a room full of other people would be though. Annie cleared her throat when Ron spoke to her, pushing her worries aside. "Uhm just water. Please." She smiled at him, yawning a bit.

"Alrighty." Ron made his way to the cabinet, grabbing two glasses and setting them on the counter. He grabbed water and orange juice from the fridge, pouring them into their respective cups before putting everything away and settling himself next to Annie. Ron gave her a quick kiss, smiling a bit. "How did you sleep?"

Annie took her water and smiled at him as he kissed her. "I slept fine." She only half lied. Taking a sip, she remembered last night. She didn't remember waking up with any pains this time but she was still having weird dreams of crying toddlers and angry adults yelling at her things she couldn't understand. She'd been having them for a few nights and had told Ron about them but he seemed so concerned that she didn't tell him for the past few nights.

Ron smiled a bit, running his hand down her cheek before turning to his own breakfast. "That's good." He knew she'd been having some odd dreams lately, but he wasn't sure if she was still having them. She hadn't told him if she was still having them, so he assumed she wasn't. Taking a bite of his food, he thought of something else. After swallowing Ron said, "Have you talked to Ferno?"

Annie grabbed his hand and kissed it quickly before letting him get to his food. She looked away for a second, frowning because she felt terrible about not telling him of her weird dreams. To most people they would just be paranoia from the baby, but Caris had always told her that Dreams had meanings. she turned back to him when he asked about Ferno. "I thought she would've been here by now. But alas, Ferno's never on time. More like fashionably late." She giggled. "I'll give her a call in about half hour to make sure she gets here to at least help with the food."

Ron ate his breakfast quietly, only pausing when he noticed Annie's frown. "What's wrong sweetheart?" He asked softly, reaching out to take her hand. He didn't want her to be upset, especially not today. Ron would probably do anything to fix whatever it was that was bothering her. At her comment about Ferno he chuckled lightly. "Alright that's fine. Hopefully one of my siblings will wake up eventually and be able to help as well. Ichigo would probably be willing to help." She was always willing to help. "It's a good thing we're not having a girl. She loves the color pink." Ron joked lightly.

Annie blinked, then smiled and shrugged. "A little antsy I guess, that's all." Annie stretched a little, putting her hands above her head. "I wouldn't be surprised if she decided to bring most of my sisters along with her to help. My cousins said they'd be arriving with everyone else so they didn't come too early." Annie smirked. "I think it's just because they'll be waiting for Auntie tey to get home so they can ride in her new car." She laughed when he mentioned Ichigo, beaming at the mention of the baby. "I really am glad that it's a boy. I think it'll be easier and my cousin has a little boy of her own so i can get tips from her." Tears welled up in her green eyes and she laughed lightly again, looking down so he couldn't notice. "I keep thinking this is going to be so much fun." She spoke softly. "Hopefully everything goes ok. It;ll all be fine." She loved thinking about her life with the new baby and Ron and recently it had all been positive thoughts with the pledges of help and support from her family and his. But the tears always sneaked up on her, good or bad.

Ron watched Annie quietly, not saying anything as she spoke. He chuckled lightly at the mention of her aunt's new car, nodding in agreement. When she lowered her face though, he frowned a bit. He knew what she was doing; hiding from him, but he didn't say anything. Instead he cupped her cheek gently and kissed her forehead. "It will be." He murmured, tilting her chin up in order to brush a tear away gently. "It'll be hard in the beginning but once we get the hang of things everything will be just fine and we'll be one happy little family." Ron couldn't wait for the baby to be born, so they could finally be a family. He kissed her again, this time a bit longer before pulling away. "Do you wanna take a quick shower before your family gets here?" He asked, a teasing twinkle in his eyes.
