InTae let out a sigh as he sat down. He was really happy that college was over. He had over-loaded himself for his last semester, and by the end, all he could think of was how thrilled he was to never have to go back to school. And soon enough, he'd get a nice, shiny, college degree from an American university that would basically get him anywhere in the world.
He had taken this time away from his family and friends as a time to relax. He was done. Done with college. He did a celebratory stretch, as if trying to mask his "hands up in the air" celebration dance as just a need to stretch out. This was awesome. This feeling of being done felt so deserved.
He smiled, setting down his iPod on the table once he got his coffee, a simple mocha with no whipped cream. He looked around, taking out his headphones and deciding to just people watch and enjoy the atmosphere of the coffee shop instead.

After two or three interviews in this town, Cady thought it was a good time for a break from it all. She had spotted this coffee shop nearby when she and her sister took a tour around town, and wanted to take a chance on it herself. She walked into the shop, her curly blonde hair up in a messy but cute pony tail, as she walked passed the tables near the counter to take a closer look at the menu. She placed her hands on her hips and bit her lip, thinking which drink would taste best in her rushed mood she was in.
After deciding, she paid for her Frappuccino, and went over to a nearby table fit for two and made herself comfortable. She took a small taste of her drink, licking her lips after in satisfaction of the great taste, and took out a pad of paper and pencil and began writing little notes for her next story she's been planning on starting.

InTae found himself captivated on a girl with curly blonde hair as she walked in, ordered, got her drink, and sat down. He bit his lip, debating if he'd get the balls to talk with her. He noticed her writing something. Maybe he could ask her about that? He sighed, he was such a fail man. He couldn't even think of a lame pick up line to say to her. He fidgeted a little, playing with the idea of going over there, but couldn't bring himself to do it. Maybe if he played stupid long enough she'd notice him. Fat chance... He thought to himself, rolling his eyes.

Cady continued writing a couple short summary choices, but by a few sentences later, she found herself scratching word by word off....Writers block. God dammit. Why have I been getting writers block lately? She groaned, tearing out the first page, crumpling it, and smashing it down next to her. She glanced back up in front of her and took a few more sips of her drink as if that would help give her some more ideas. She rested her elbow on the table then, and laid her chin in the cup of her hand while her other hand drummed across the table wonderingly.

InTae finished off his coffee before gathering his twenty seconds of courage, going up to her. "Hi." He said simply. He attempted to give her a pure, sweet, innocent smile, but it instead came out awkward and possibly a little creepy. God, he hoped not. Don't be a creeper. He scolded himself. He had no clue what else to do. His twenty seconds seemed to be up all too soon, and he couldn't even think of an excuse as to why he came up to her besides "you're pretty." Just go with it. Some girls love the bumbling types... His mind encouraged him. "Um. I'm InTae. I think you're really pretty, and was wondering if you're free to maybe goonadatewithme I'd really like that." He said all too quickly, squeaking a little by the end and letting out a deep breath once he finished. You're an idiot for actually trying. His mind immediately turned on him. He debated running back to his seat. Or heck, he was done with coffee, maybe he should leave. Leaving sounded good. Move legs, he demanded, realizing they were as frozen as the rest of his body.

Cady took another sip of her drink before looking up to see an unfamiliar face in front of her. "Oh, um..hi." she mustered up back to him, with just as much of an awkward smile as he gave her. She moved her hand down flat on the table then when he started talking really fast, and she almost didn't get across what he was saying, er, trying to say. "Er, um..go out with me? Um, I'm sorry...but, I'm not normally interested in guys I don't hardly know." Even if guys like you are incredibly cute. she let her mind wonder about freely. Then she thought about her last relationship with a guy, then her one year old daughter who was sitting at home with her sister. Even if she was looking for another guy, it had to be someone who could handle the situation they were in. All of them, not just Cady's. She felt sorry for this guy though. He seemed like a really nice fellow. So before he got the chance to walk away, she added in quickly, "But I'm sure if I get to know you a little more, I might be able to change my mind about that date offer you had in mind...."

InTae took a deep breath. He was about to leave when she allowed him to stay for at least a bit. He smiled in relief, pointing to the free chair and already feeling a little more relaxed. "Can I sit?" He asked her, his smile a little less awkward.

Cady grinned a bit wider, feeling suddenly generous of the idea. She motioned for him to sit. "By all means, sit." she offered. "I'm Cady, by the way." she introduced, holding out a hand to shake with. "So, InTae. Tell me about yourself. You in college, or something?"

InTae smiled at the acceptance to the table and sat down. "I just graduated college, actually." He felt like he was at least partly bragging about it, this Cady girl being the only person besides his family he'd been able to tell so far. "Though I'm just working at Whole Foods right now." He admitted with an embarrassed laugh.

"Oh, really? That's cool." Cady grinned, a bit wider, and sheepishly as well. "Well, at least you have a job. I just moved here, and I'm still trying to get a job somewhere..." she sighed. "I just got back from an interview actually...as well as sending in some applications." she shrugged, taking another small sip of her cold drink. "Do you, um, have any siblings?"

InTae nodded, debating if he should mention he overheard his boss talking about needing to hire a few people. It was only a part-time job at Whole Foods... but wasn't that at least something? "Check Whole Foods. It's on the corner of ninth and main." He suggested to her with a small wink. As he was asked the question, all he could do was laugh. "I have too many siblings, if you ask me. My parents went adoption happy." He joked with her.

"Oh, really? Well, I guess I'll have to check it out there then." she grinned happily. "Thanks for the offer, by the way." she smiled, straightening up in her chair, getting more interested in getting to know InTae more and more. "Oh, adoptions, huh? I don't really know what that's like, nor do I know what its like to have a bunch of siblings. It's just my twin sister and I." she wasn't sure if she should mention her daughter, too, or not. Maybe later. He doesn't need to know everything right now.

InTae smiled, "I always wondered what it'd be like to be a twin. There are twins in my family, too. But they're both boys." He explained. "There are times I swear they share the same mind." He joked. "In my biological family, I was an only child." He added, feeling like he didn't need to mention his parents died. Besides, thoughts of that tended to make his blood boil a little, because he'd end up just ranting about his father.

"It's alright I guess. I mean it would be a lot more fun if we were identical. We're actually fraternal twins believe it or not.." she scrunched up her nose. "I'm older by two minutes, and you can clearly see it." she managed a small giggle to form then. "I've wondered what its like to be an only child actually..." she admitted slowly. "Must be nice...but at the same time, it must get lonely too....huh?"

InTae chuckled at her joke, wondering if they were just like best friends born on the same day. He was about to ask when she asked about being an only child. He took a deep breath, trying to figure out what to say. "Ahhh... Well, actually. Um. I was only five when I went into an adoption center, so I don't remember too well. From what I remember..." He thought about it, in reality, he didn't have any memories of his real parents, but he remembered how betrayed he felt when he found out about his father, so surely he was happy with them, right? "It was nice." He concluded with a small chuckle.
